Unique Verve

Hands down the best facial place in Boston! I’ve been seeing Natalie for quite some time now and she’s so sweet, knowledgeable and friendly. She knows what products will work best for my type of skin (and which won’t), gives me tips and tricks of do’s and dont’s, and after every visit, I feel like my skin glows! I’d highly recommend Unique Verve for anyone looking to get a great quality facial in the Boston area.

I have been seeing Natalie for about 2 years for waxing and facials. She is simply the best. From the moment I walked into Unique Verve, I knew I would be a long-​time customer. The Spa is beautiful and very clean. It is quiet and relaxing. Natalie cares deeply about my comfort and my experience every time I visit.
Natalie is very gentle with waxing and always makes sure that you are comfortable. She uses strip free wax and it works quickly and is much less painful.
The facials at Unique Verve are amazing. Natalie takes a holistic approach to skincare and my personal results have been incredible. I am using Environ and Osmosis products from the Spa and I now have fewer fine lines and my pore size has improved. I have oily skin and that was a main concern of mine. I believe that with the products she has recommended I will continue to see improvements over time. The facial experience itself is just wonderful (even without all the skin benefits). It’s so relaxing! I would highly recommend Natalie and Unique Verve!

Ive been going to unique verve and getting facials from Natalie for over a year now. I have very tricky skin and she has changed my life and my skin. My skin has improved so much. I now use only environ and osmosis products and my skin is still progressing. I keep in touch with Natalie and she is very quick to respond to any emails I have about any questions, concerns, etc.
Unique verve has a very relaxing ambiance. I fall asleep almost every time I get my facial. Natalie is so knowledgable and really knows what she’s doing.
I highly recommend unique verve to anyone wanting to improve their skin. I don’t recommend hydra facials, and other types of facials other places offer. They might temporarily help your skin but unique verve offers long term improvement and with all natural products!
You won’t regret this!

I have had my skin taken care of at Unique Verve for 3 – 4 years now and I have seen amazing results!!! I have treated several aestheticians in the New York and Boston area and Natalie is the THE BEST by far. She is very skillful, knowledgeable, and attentive to details. I love her facials and the results last for weeks. Friends and colleagues who haven’t seen me for a few years always comment on how good my skin looks now. Natalie has also recommended some skin care products for home use that work fantastic for my skin. Would recommend Unique Verve enthusiastically to anyone looking for a great facial with lasting results!

Love the facials but it’s on the pricey end

Natalie gave an in depth first time facial with me to ask me what I wanted to accomplish and how I could get there by changing my diet and skincare routine. I found the facial scan informing, since I didn’t realize how much sun damage there was on my face and what I can do to improve it.
The facial itself was very relaxing and I could immediate results with the redness, which was my biggest concern. I bought the cleanser, anti oxident gel, and moisturizer to try out and while I don’t see immediate results from the cleanser and moisturizer, I am hopeful that they are improving my skin. I would definitely come back for another facial in the future.

Ok, so Natalie just called me and said she sorry. It just miss understanding. Few days ago I called them to make reservation but I only picked the day and put my name because I left my credit card in the car, somebody who I talked to (I couldn’t remember who’s her name) promise me to call me back to get my credit card number (after we missed each other call) but I didn’t get a call until today. I tried to call them today but again no one answer. I wrote a review today before we finally talked.

After changing my initial review from 1 to 2 stars I received another response from the salon. They offered to finally give me a full refund. Sadly their attempt to rectify the situation was too late. The gift card was thrown away shortly after I was told it would not be refunded. It was never about the money.

I came here for an eyebrow wax. The space was relaxing and I got greeted at the door. I am sad to say that my wax was not the same. I told her that I have been growing my eye brows for 6 months and trying to make them thicker. I showed her the arch line I was trying to grow out. Once she was done with the wax, she had applied eye brow color, so I couldn’t see my true brow.
Once I got home and washed it off the make-​up, I REALLY saw what was waxed off. First of all, my brow is totally uneven. It goes from super thick to super thin! Also, I can see a bald spot :(The cut was really choppy. My main problem with my brows is that the hair grows straight and long. I’ve tried cutting it once and it was a nightmare. I relived the memory from this brow cut.
Again, they were really nice but I would not go back. I have to apply massive make-​up on my brows to get fuller look again :(

I was never a sun worshipper however I was not someone who used sunscreen on a daily basis either. I heard about the Visia machine that takes pictures of your face to determine where the most sun damage is and to formulate a program/​regimen to repair the sun damage to improve complexion. So I took the plunge yesterday.
I was certainly surprised at how much the sun can penetrate and damage your skin!!! The facial itself was ultra relaxing. I think I fell asleep a half dozen times Melissa was excellent in explaining each step and has a soothing and spiritual cadence to her voice and approach. I purchased a bunch of products that I will use religiously to help improve my grill!!! Skin feels smooth and looks even… I want it to last!!! Definitely recommend trying this treatment. It’s not inexpensive but then again, I didn’t get this amazing result from the bargain basement facial from the cheap places.

I usually don’t leave a review, but my mom and I went to have our facials done yesterday at Unique Verve and had a great experience! I was skeptical whether the facial will really help to improve my skin, because I had facials done before but I was never really blown away with the result. I left her place supper happy with the result! (Totally exceeded my expectations and they are pretty high expectations). I also learned a lot about my skin and ways to improve it. Thanks Natalie!

This place is amazing! The level of professionalism and knowledge they provide is outstanding. I booked an appointment with Melissa for my first facial with Unique Verve. I have been there before for wax services and was pleased with Melissa’s services so I thought I would try a facial with her. She provided me a thorough analysis of my skin type as well as tips on improving my skin and educated me on myths about certain products. The rooms have an elegant ambiance and tranquil music. I found the whole experience relaxing and rejuvenating. My skin had a dramatic improvement just from this one visit. She explained what she was doing at every step which helped me understand their unique approach and superb products. Melissa is outstanding! I purchased a few of the products and will incorporate her tips to improving my skin for the next time I book a facial with her.

Saw Natalie again on Tuesday. and I am so happy with the results. Definitely recommend her for this cold weather! Not only does my skin get the pampering it needs but I also feel so refreshed after my session :)

Had my second facial about a week ago, my skin is looking fantastic! Acne has cleared and my confidence is where it used to be. I’ve had no awful reactions to product just a little dryness and peeling for a few days after treatments. The products she uses are gentle yet effective. Also love that she checks on you afterwards to see how your skin is doing. This place is great. Really grateful I found Natalie!

I am adding an update to my initial review, as I received my results from the Visia analysis portion of the consultation, which reminded me of how interesting this part of the process was. I forgot about it when I wrote my first review since I was so relaxed from the treatment:)
To start, I was impressed with the size of the Visia; here I was thinking they were referring to a digital camera, and this is not the case. There is an entire room that is dedicated to this technological wonder. The camera part has an entire console which enables the face to be photographed from the right and left side as well as the center. There is a separate viewing computer where one sees the photos and scores.
This was a fascinating experience! Each picture could be zoomed in and I have never seen my skin in such great detail! I was very surprised at how much underlying redness I had; I was equally impressed that Natalie could tell which side I tended to sleep on, due to there being a greater amount of fine lines!
I do not see that much redness on the surface of my skin, so it was definitely alarming to know the actual extent of the damage.
Visia also showed bacteria count, surface as well as deeper layer sun damage and the depth of fine lines/​wrinkles.
Natalie also let me know that the photos are saved and can be retaken in the future to track results, which is very exciting! In conclusion I was very impressed by Visia. Their First Time Facial is quite lengthy (3 hours) and may sound expensive, but it’s worth every penny!

I was a bit skeptical about their First Time Facial however I was completely blown away by the entire experience. It’s one of a kind and interesting process!
During my initial visit, Natalie helped me with the appropriate product selection that have done wonders for my skin. She also guided me to choose healthier food options which have improved my skin condition, energy level and overall wellbeing. I was immediately impressed by Natalie’s knowledge, kind and caring personality as well as professionalism.
I have never experienced Visia (and honestly never heard of this high-​tech equipment) in my life before. It was incredibly interesting as well as educational process! If you have never tried it, I would highly suggest trying it as you will see your skin in different perspective. It showed my skin from deeper layers and concerns that are not visible on the surface but they are there as well as the problems that I should pay attention to. During each picture which was taken by Visia, Natalie explained the causes of the problems and how to treat them.
I have been going to Natalie for quite some time now and what impresses me the most is her consistency! Her facials feel amazing every single time. She’s got magical hands. She puts me to sleep almost right from the beginning of each facial and I often sleep during extractions as well. My skin never looks red or feels irritated after her facials.
In the beginning of every facial she examines my skin to create custom tailored treatment. In most cases she has done vitamin infusion facials on me but has also integrated LED light.
Ever since I started seeing Natalie for my facials, my skin has improved tremendously and has undergone complete transformation. I get compliments from my friends, family as well as co-​workers all the time.
Every time I go to Unique Verve, I’m greeted with the smile and positive energy. This is the place where I get beyond the best possible experience as well as personalized attention and would never hesitate to recommend them for skincare needs.

The best! It is an incredible experience to get a facial from Natalie. Besides getting your face needs fully taken care of with vitamins, masks, massages and machines, you might fall asleep and have the most blissful time while there. I wish I could do this monthly.

Had a ton of facials and so far this is the best! I have hyper-​pigmentation and saw significant results after the first facial. It has been 3 weeks or so since I started using all the products and my skin is flawless. Super plus that Natalie so sweet.
I wish they carried Kjaer Weis makeup.

The facials here are still fantastic… The update is about the eyebrow shaping I had done.
I let them get really beastly (which isn’t as bad as it sounds bc my brows are pretty sparse) so that Cristin could really shape them right. I’ve had a few bad experiences with waxes that left me either overly plucked or with an overly dramatic expression.
She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted, that’s hard for me to articulate so I basically told her what I didn’t want, which worked just as well.
Lot’s of tweezing and a little bit of waxing to get a clean line on top so that the exfoliation part of the facial after wouldn’t irritate my skin. She also used some sort of light thing to make sure that skin didn’t break out or get irritated too. No breakouts or redness occurred.
I very pleased with the shape… no holes in them from scars on my brow bones, not too thin, I don’t look like I’m in shock… excellent service!
