First, I don’t know what JB has against Cathy since I’ve gone a couple times and never had a problem. If something is bothering me, I’ll tell her and she’ll fix it right enough. Once I had the smallest spot where I smudge my big toenail and I came in that week and they fixed it quickly (and free). No one else would have noticed (trust me I surveyed my friends), but they just fixed me right up with a smile and even got me in earlier than my appointment!
That being said, I came here to get my nails done for my wedding and an addiction was born. I’m not someone who gets their nails done often, but after seeing Jeanne and Cathy I have gone more in a few months than I have in years. I ended up finding Jeanne’s place through an article where other nail professionals were asked to name who they considered the Best of Boston. Having been smart enough to try Jeanne’s I can see why she gets such great reviews.
Kristie’s review hit it right on the head — the care and service you get here is unrivaled. It’s a small, bright and cozy location on Newbury that easily accessible. Cathy is like everyone’s mom and Jeanne is sweet and professional. Every time I come I wish I could just move in and stay for ever because you feel like a million dollars through your treatments. I HATE having pedicures since I’m so ticklish, but the pedicures here are heavenly and after talking to Jeanne I feel like there’s actual health benefits to taking care of your feet. This is a treat I’m now willing to splurge on because I feel so well taken care of and always leave feeling beautiful, relaxed and with soft hands and feet. My feet especially really have shown a big difference just in a few visits. Love them!
I’m also really lazy and so I love the online appointment maker!

I have been a client of Jeanne’s for two years and am amazed by how perfect the results are every time. Her salon is beautiful, relaxing and clean, and the online booking makes finding an appointment a snap (hint: Plan ahead because Jeanne books up fast!) I would send any of my friends to Jeanne as I always know that she will do a great job. Her mom Cathy is also excellent, and always so friendly!

I have been going to Jeanne Lee for about 10 years. Once in a while, when she’s not available and I need a pedicure fast, I’ll try another place, but I always go back to Jeanne because I’ve never had a better pedicure. Jeanne loves what she does and she is a perfectionist. I’m sort of particular about the shape of my toenails, and if I’m not happy with the shape of a nail, I just tell her and she fixes it. No attitude, no questions asked. She solved a painful issue that I had been enduring for years, and she even helps me choose colors! If you want a great-​looking pedicure at a decent price, go see Jeanne Lee.

Jeanne Lee gives the best pedicure I’ve ever had, feet-​down! While I don’t usually have professional manicures, I do enjoy having my feet and toenails cared for. Jeanne’s services are just great!
She specializes in individualized care, and takes time to make sure any little issue you might have with your nails or feet are dealt with expertly. The polish always stays on much longer than any other salon’s applications do. And she will even do fun things like mutli-​color combinations or put separate colors on each toe.
I have recommended her salon to all my friends and they have become just as impressed as I am. By the way, some of my friends have decided they prefer Cathy, Jeanne’s mother; and say she is just as thorough and particular. Regardless, I can’t imagine anyone coming away from this salon not raving about it! If you’ve never had nail care other than the usual neighborhood «assembly-​line nail salon» treatment, you’ll be thrilled with Jeanne Lee Salon. Beside the fact that it’s so much cleaner, more elegant and relaxing, there’s no comparison with the services, and the price difference is worth every penny.

Awful. the owner’s mother did my mani and pedi. i don’t usually write reviews here, but i was so disappointed and she did such a bad job, i felt compelled to write this. My big toe is so sore that i cannot take the weight of a sheet. i am in so much pain and it’s been a week. i did not have any problem with ingrowns or anything. the manicure left my nails in worse shape than when i went in. i asked her not to cut my cuticles, she said just a little for hangnails, i said ok and now i have ragged cuticles.
unbelievably angry. i will call the owner, but it seems a little odd because the woman who did the service is her mother.
