We too got a Community Servings — Pie is Love Thanksgiving pie from this bakery. I had not heard of them before. WOW! its was delicious. Ours was pecan and had much more ‘flavor” than sugar, like some pecan pies do. Tons of pecans. Super buttery and gone before all I could get a second piece. Nice that they donated and an awesome pie.

I purchased a pumpkin pie through the Pie is Love charity for Thanksgiving and it was baked by Leo’s. The pie was excellent, better than I could have made on my own. It was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I have never been to Leo’s but would recommend the pie.

After reading reviews on here about Leo’s apple pie, ordered ours for pre-​Thanksgiving today. Consensus of group was wow this pie is HORRIBLE. Freezer pie is tastier– even a la mode pie is flavorless, over-​baked, dry and above all has minimal filling. Our guests: «Quite disgusting.» «Who made this again?»
So disappointed in this bakery.

We got our wedding cake here. It was moist and so beautiful! So thankful we went with them!!!

I ended up with a bad pie from Leo’s once. Since that pie was not purchased directly from Leo’s. I’m not sure if they, or the handlers and distributors were to blame — But based on that, I can’t give them 5 stars.
Five stars is tempting though, because they make great apple and pecan pie and have been great about giving back to the community. I organized an event and had 15 pies from Leo’s. The apple was the subject of great raves, fine crust with just enough crispness and flavor to showcase the apple which was nicely flavored and baked just right, tender but not mush. The pecan was also high quality, sweet just gooey enough and with great pecan and crust texture — I brought the left overs home and ate them way too fast — they were that good. The pumpkin was also very good, the crust was just right and the pumpkin was flavorful — not much of a wow factor, but that can be tough with Pumpkin pie.
