Real Property Management Westside

Quite possibly the worst experience we have ever had to endure with a so called property management company.
We have been renting a unit in West Hollywood through this clown for a year and in that year we have asked for one thing since day 1, to have the bathroom fixtures in one of our bathrooms replaced. The fixtures are so old they cannot be repaired and we have been unable to get in touch with RPM Westside in months. They set up fake appointments to have workers come to the property to fix the issue. We arrange days for the appointment and when no-​one shows up, Edgar tells us the guy just got held up and he’ll try to reschedule. When we ourselves contact the plumbers and repair guys, they tell us no appointment was ever set up.
This outfit, with no fixed abode, is a complete joke and the most unprofessional outfit we’ve ever had to deal with. If you see a property for lease through this clowns ‘mailbox office’, run away. You’re going to have a horrible experience. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Zero Stars. THE WORST, most DISHONEST company ever. Horrible to the tenants and will always take your deposit away. Horrible people

Update. Arrived to their «offices» in Beverly Hills. There is NO office. This is a mailbox rented out. Shady. Shady. Shady.

I find the name Real Property Management Westside ironic because based on what I saw today, Real Property Management Westside is not a «Real» business. If you like unprofessional staff who don’t show up for appointments, then this place is for you.
Yesterday I called to to view a condo that has been listed on Westside Rentals for a while now. After being put on hold, a RPMW employee named Edgar got on the phone and told me that he could show me the condo today at 1 PM. I said that sounded great and that I would see him at 1 PM the following day.
I also emailed RPMW for more information about the condo. So, earlier today Edgar wrote me an email which said verbatim:
«video tour
Let me know if you still want to see the place today @ 1pm»
Not exactly the most professional communication style ever, but I replied immediately after seeing the message that yes I did want to see the condo at 1 PM.
So then today during my lunch break I pick up my wife and we drive over to 3603 Dunn Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90 034. We arrive a little before 1 PM.
No Edgar. He’s not anywhere to be seen. We wait until 1:10 PM and still no Edgar. So, I call the main office at (310) 858‑5514. A receptionist answers and I ask her to speak to Edgar. She puts me on hold and then after about 30 seconds returns and tells me that Edgar is not answering his cell phone. She asks me if I would like to leave a voice mail and I say yes I would. But then I can’t leave a voice mail because the voice mail box is full.
I wait ten minutes. Still no Edgar. So I call the Real Property Management number again and the receptionist answers. I ask to speak to Edgar. Again she tells me he is not answering his cell phone, and again she asks me if I would like to leave a voice mail. I tell her that first of all I can’t leave a voice mail because the mail box is full and second of all, «Do you know where Edgar is?» She says she has no idea. She says I can call back in 10 minutes.
So, I hang up and wait 10 minutes and by this time it’s around 1:30 PM. I call the RPMW office again and ask to speak to Edgar again. The receptionist again tries Edgar’s cell phone and again he doesn’t answer. She asks me if I would like to leave a voice mail again. I say (again) that I can’t leave a voice mail and instead would like to speak to the manager. The receptionist says that she doesn’t know the manager’s phone number. She also says she doesn’t work for RPMW, she just works for the building. What a horrible arrangement and a frustrating way of doing business.
I understand being a little bit late in LA traffic. Thirty minutes is pushing it though, especially when you are meeting a potential customer — someone who will potentially fork over tens of thousands to rent a condo for a year. I absolutely do not understand how someone could fail to at least call a customer and let him or her know why they are late… or at the very least answer the phone when I call them up, to explain.
Note that it’s now after 7:30 PM in the evening and I still have not received a phone call from Edgar or any one else at the RPMW office. Also note that I sent Edgar and email asking him where he was today at 1 PM and he has not replied.
Based on the date of the video tour Edgar emailed me (see above), the condo has been vacant for a while. Even though it looks like a great place, due to the shittiness of the RPMW leasing company service I can see why no one has rented it. I have no idea why any owner would want to hire Real Property Management Westside to manage their property, and I have even less idea why any renter would ever want to do business with these incompetent fools.

It is one lie after the next with these people. Steer clear!
