This store is always crazy busy whenever I come(which is every weekday morning) however no matter how busy they are the crew here is always upbeat and friendly. They have the orders ready in a flash and they try extra hard to remember you and what you like. It’s a major conglomerate store with a hometown feel. The staff here keep me coming back. I’d drive across San Mateo, past a dozen Starbucks, and into Belmont, to get a coffee here. Keep up the awesome work!

Clean and neat Starbucks, with a cute outdoor patio to sit and sip. Parking can be hard sometimes as the lot fills up but service is quick and friendly. My morning coffee go-to!

Not impressed with this store. Customer service is truly lacking and wait time here is much longer than other fellow stores. A couple of the baristas are efficient and cordial but most are slow and lack the warm customer service that other Starbucks has. One of their female employees always has an off putting attitude and acts as if she does not want to be there, and has on many occasions while helping customers speaks in Tagalog to other employees. Learn some basic customer service. Corporate need to get a trainer here.

I’ve been in here a few times with a 2 – 3 star experience. I’ve been coming back because of the convenience of location. Not any more! In my last experience there were 3 in line and 2 waiting. It took 5 minutes to order and another 10 to make it. I told the barista«10 minutes for an ice coffee?» She replied«Were busy, you’ll just have to wait!» I replied, «Oh, and your sorry» She ignored me. After I got my mediocre ice coffee I saw that half of the staff appeared from the back room as I was adding equal to my drink. Guess what… no half n half. That took another 3 – 4 minutes. Don’t go here. They are slow, rude and disorganized. Go to the Starbucks in the Safeway next door.

I was in here about a whole 5 minutes ago. It was very busy, but you’d think the one thing starbucks is good for is … actually making your order! But that was not the case! There were two spanish speaking customers before me(no one in this location speaks spanish) so it took 10 minutes for her to order, then while over at the ‘bar’ she mentioned a venti strawberry frap but recieved MY drink instead due to lack of understanding. I waited 30 minutes for a drink that takes 5 at the most to make! Needless to say, pick a better starbucks to visit

I was on my way to an event this morning and at the last minute got asked to bring a traveller. My friend said she would call it in, and when I got up to the counter, they said there had not been an order called in. Becky was behind the counter and was SOFRIENDLY! She told me to give her 5 – 10 minutes and she would have it ready for me. I have NEVERNEVERNEVER walked into a Starbucks without a pre-ordered traveller and waited less than 20 minutes… and often times the barista looks at me like they want to kill me for even ordering one… It was a busy Saturday morning and Becky acted like it was no problem at all. Absolute awesomeness!!!

By farrrrr my favorite Starbucks location! The staff is friendly and sometimes you can’t help but laugh at some of the employees, won’t mention names but LOL, in the most kind hearted way possible. Outdoor seating clean bathrooms and two refreshment stations!

I love this place! The assistants are helpful, happy, and obviously enjoy what they do. Answer questions frankly to their knowledge, willingly, and often with humor. Free wifi too

This Starbucks is going under renovation and is closed today, July 13th, 2015 for the next few days. However, to lessen the disappointment, they have given out free coffee to those who stopped by.

Very unorganized, waited 7 – 10 minutes waiting for a breakfast sandwich just to be told they had no more. Couldn’t have told me when I ordered?

I’m not usually impressed by the customer service at Starbucks but it was my first time here and despite the long line– the two baristas were incredibly friendly, fast, and graced me with multiple smiles. Will definitely be back !

John Supelana and Liz Luna are the best Baristas here. They tell great stories and jokes, share really neat facts with you, and are guaranteed to make you laugh and smile. If you need a cup of coffee, tea, lemonade or hot chocolate and some cheer, come here and be sure to look for John Supelana and Liz Luna.

I go to Starbucks because I’m a Basic B*tch who loves her some tea lattes and getting a star added to her rewards card every time she makes a purchase. I’m not ashamed. It’s easy. I’m lazy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. A spacious, working single stall loo. What’s not to like? Don’t get me wrong, I like to go to those other fancy or hipster or legit places, too, but I don’t feel like I need to sh*t on Starbucks to appreciate them. The line at this location gets super long during peak hours… which are any moment between when they open an close. The only time I didn’t stand in a line at least 8 people deep was on Christmas Eve late in the evening. The people who work here are nice and though my tea lattes are super inconsistent, they never taste bad so it’s like cool surprise every time I sip and wonder if it will or won’t have sweetener and will or won’t taste like mint-flavored breast milk(which I legit like as a hot beverage flavor). Also worth noting is that it’s clean and they frequently have cool events or paid-studies from Stanford posted on their bulletin board… which is always nice when you need a few extra bucks to throw at your landlord.

Can not believe how rude Cynthia the Starbucks employee is. I don’t even understand why she is so rude & if you have a issue with a customer maybe you should take some classes on how to deal with the public & how to effectively handle issues. I was not the customer she had an issue with it was actually a customer behind me, but she did not even acknowledge me. Why would I be standing in line? For fun? Never mind the fact that they got my simple drink order wrong & I had to wait for another beverage. To be quiet honest this starbucks is very slow & to deal with a rude employee is just a turn off. Have not returned to this Starbucks nor do I have any plan to.

I like Starbucks for its consistency, like most of the patrons I’m sure. I tend to stick to a couple of regular drinks if I have to go to a Starbucks, since I haven’t really found a good mom and pop café in the area. I’ve been to probably almost every Starbucks in the SanMat-BelCarlos area and this one has one kind of consistency the other lack– extremely friendly customer service! Every time! The baristas always get my drink perfect(I do NOT have a complicated order) and serve with a smile and/or friendly banter. They’re also speedy with getting your drink out, even when they get packed. I’ve been to plenty of other Starbucks and this one is probably my favorite. If I HAVE to visit a Starbucks, I’d rather drive to this one.

I’ve been to many Starbucks before, but this Starbucks in particular is the one I go to every morning before work since it’s so close. I had to review this Starbucks because I find it impressive that not only one but two of the workers remember my drink order. I mean, obviously I know I go every morning so they would grow accustomed to it, but when I worked in South City and would get my coffee from them almost every morning they would never remember, in addition would make it wrong half the time. This Sbux hasn’t gotten my drink wrong yet. They always make it the way I expect it to be made and in a timely manner. Even when I think the line is super long and I’m about to run late, they fly by the line and still get me done in 5 minutes or so. I appreciate how this Sbux always comes through with my daily fix to get me through my workdays a little faster and definitely more happier.

This Belmont Starbucks is located in a strip mall and must be one of my favorite Starbucks whenever I’m in the area! The wooden exterior gives it a warm feel, the outdoor seating area is almost private, and inside there’s plenty of seating. Parking can be hard to find at times on the strip mall parking lot but don’t miss out on the parking spots on El Camino in front of the store. Close to CalTrain and 101.

Standard Starbs. Nothing Special. Love the seating and layout. Lots of comfy chairs and tables which is a major plus because I love doing work at Starbucks. They ran out of iced coffee earl last night and offered me an americano instead– no problem. They can get busy in the morning because it is at a major intersection so be prepared to wait.
