I want to give a negative star. Even ZERO start is too high for them. Please avoid if you get a chance. I went to this buffet on Father’s day. My father, husband, sister, ALL got sick after eating there. Mom and I are ok. We’re not sure what they ate and what my mom and I did not eat. My husband threw up three times after he got home. It’s been a couple of days since we ate, my father and sister are BOTH still sick and lying on bed. If you are interested in eating in this place, think about our experience! Don’t follow our footsteps.

I used to go to the one in Totem Lake. I have been to this location numerous times over the years and am still very pleased. I eat Atkins/Fatkins/keto(down 12 pounds) and this place makes it so easy. Their salad and protein selections are awesome. They also have desserts. Kids seem to love the Icee. We stopped by on Mother’s Day for dinner and am glad we did. Some people do not like it but we do. It’s a place where you will either really like it or really hate it. Will I return? Definitely.

Ordinary food served at UNSAFE temperatures. Warming bins didn’t do the job. NO workers around to check on food temps. No server at meats station. I advised manager(he reaked of cheap cologne) and the first thing he said is «I didn’t know what I was talking about»! Then used a small dial stick thermometer and stuck it a tray pulled it too fast and proclaimed«food fine». He opened doors to warting bin and observed all pilot lights on indicating a false positive! Manegement has NO concern for food safety or your health! DONOTPUTYOURHEALTHATRISKHERE!!!

I would give this place zero stars if possible. I can barely write this review right now because I, along with the rest of my family are running to the restroom every 5 min. We had dinner there last night. Everyone had a variety of food from the awful buffet. WEALLHADTHESALAD. I’m guessing cross contamination. The only reason why I’m writing this is to warn anyone else who is considering eating at this horrible place. Save yourselves.

Very disappointed. All food here is packaged. They just heat it. Buy packaged and processed food from Wal-Mart next door. I hate to do it to somebody’s business but it was a horrible experience. Staff is nice but food sucks royally. I will never come back again.

Huge restaurant. The ice cream machine is always out of service. Careless staff. Food was average except few dishes. I don’t think I would go to that restaurant again.

Me and my hubby got a stomach infection thanks to the food here. The food is not worth any mention. Never going to this place again

The sheer choice of food, and the potential combinations make it all worth it to me. Of course it’s not gourmet food. It’s never pretended to be. It’s just a plethora of homestyle dishes. I’m never disappointed with their roast, collard greens, fried okra, and smoked sausage. My wife is a big fan of their fried chicken and their tacos. The salad bar looks pretty good as well, but we somehow usually manage to get full before we get to that. Exception: the cucumber, onions, and tomatoes salad. I just love it, and I always keep some space for that. :) I didn’t care much for the stuffing. It was very gummy, and tasted a bit fishy(as in, actual fish taste, not gone off). I’ll just skip it from now on, and concentrate on the dozens of other choices there.

The food here sucks. They put sugar in everything. Everything is over cooked. Even the meats are inedible. Filled with gristle all kinds of nasty stuff. Tough as leather. The only good stuff there was the tacos and the salad bar was ok. The staff are really nice though. Poor guys. Dude they seriously put sugar in the stuffing. In the stuffing! Who does that?

Excellent place to take children for family night on Thursdays kids eat for $ 1.99 from 5:00 — 8:00pm every Thursday! Such a great deal for parents with children. The dinner every night is mostly the same but they do have fresh carved meat and on Friday nights they have some seafood like Salmon, Popcorn shrimp, and the baked chicken is great too! I would recommend going before the big dinner rush though especially on Thursdays.

The people are friendly and the place is clean. Food is flavorless and seems to be out of a can or box. Quantity not quality is the selling point.

We only come here on Sunday for breakfast after church. If we stay long we could catch the lunch menu as well. It is a good place to hang out with friends who you haven’t meet for long time. Like most of America buffet the food is so so and pretty standard. The same food you get from last of your visit.

Still love this place for good old fashioned food. I don’t go that often, coz I don’t trust myself in an all-you-can-eat situation, but once in a while it’s great to go there when truly hungry. Stay away from the starchy stuff like potatoes and desserts, and you’ll do great.

This is by far the worst mistake I’ve ever made returning to Old County Buffet. To say this is the worst meal I’ve ever had would be the biggest understatement of my 21 years of life. The second we walked through the doors we can tell it’s far too overcrowded, far too messy, and the hostess at the front was only interested in getting us to buy the drinks that we could«take home with us,» which was just an overly large sized Coca-Cola cup that we could’ve gotten for a dollar at the target next-door, on top of 2.49 to get drinks? Another 3 $, no thanks. The meat I didn’t even want to try, as it looked dry and flakey, the mac’n’cheese looked like cheese soup with a total of maybe twelve undercooked noodles, the soup was cold, the salad was warm, the stuffing they had tasted like old baby food; the list goes on. The only two things on the menu that I was able to swallow down without gagging where the mashed potatoes and the gravy, however the gravy was underseasoned and the mashed potatoes weren’t warm. Their soda tasted like seltzer water, the only appetizing drink that I could find was the chocolate milk and even that had flakes of the chocolate syrup that hadn’t fully blended in, and again, it wasn’t cold. The desert was probably the worst, the cakes were tasteless, for lack of a better word, the cheesecake tasted like it was made of raw eggs, and whatever blue berry preserve they put on it was so bad, so heinous my friend had to spit it out into a napkin. And they’re ice cream machine was broken, so there was no saving grace for this meal. The cleanup staff was too busy talking with obviously either close friends or relatives actually realize we were done with our food, and kept taking way random plates off of our table, asking how the food was and then walking away before we can even say anything. Also because it was only me and my friend, we left our drinks on the table twice to signify someone is sitting here, and when we would come back they were gone. Or we would come back and food that we were obviously done trying to choke down was still sitting there and unattended to. The worst part of the service was trying to get a refund their manager Yana an obviously not even 20 years old woman obviously thought that I was just trying to get a free meal with my friend, and saying that I was«the only person who would complained today». And the only time she apologized was when she offered us to come back for a free meal in exchange for a refund, which I declined. Thankfully I got my money back, this place is far more overpriced then it should be, and now I’m just sitting at home trying not to puke up the horrible meal I just ate. Overall an absolutely terrible experience and my hopes were so high due how much my family used to love coming to old country buffet, I will not be returning.

It’s been a year since I last came to Factoria, so it’s been that long since I last ate here. When we last came, this mall was clearly dying. Lots of empty stores and the place was dead. The only thing surviving was the Target. This year has clearly been good for the place because it’s revived beautifully. Lots of active stores and people. The improved business has been a great boon for this Old Country Buffet because it’s a hundred times improved from my last visit here. Not only was there a much bigger selection of food, but it was all good. I’ve never been to an OCB that didn’t have food that was ‘just decent’. This visit it was all legitimately great. Even the fried chicken looked and tasted good. The roast beef stew was fantastic. There were candied yams and they were amazing. And the cheese cake was soooo good. I was seriously surprised. I came here because it was simple and convenient for the kids, figuring I’d leave with stomach cramps. I was pleasantly surprised to actually really like it.

I only get out of downtown Seattle. When my friends drive me to other areas. Eating buffet, isn’t generally my thing. However, I was pleasantly surprised. They had a wide variety of options. Including healthier selections. Good prices. Very nice staff.

Just like with any buffet, eating at good ol’ Old Country Buffet is good if you have a big belly, especially since it is reasonably priced. Their fried chicken was top-notch, at least as good as KFC’s. Many of the items in the vegetable/fruits sections are basically canned though so expect subpar quality from that section. Came here for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon so I didn’t experience any issues with food replenishment.

$ 15 for all-you-can-eat mediocre-to-sub-par American food? Including(but not limited to): overly-well-done-steak, dry-and-or-way-too-fatty-«prime-rib», green-bean-straight-from-a-can, over-baked-potatoes, and not-soft-serve-soft-serve. The salad bar redeemed things a little. But even then, the freshness of some of those vegetables were questionable. I’m not sure I’m changing anyone’s mind about going to Old Country Buffet by writing this review, though. I feel like its patrons know what they’re getting themselves in to, and either really enjoy it, or probably don’t care, because it’s all-you-can-eat. I can empathize. And I’ll just leave it at that.

It’s exactly what you expect with a few surprises. I come here maybe once a month for lunch and occasionally for dinner. A pretty diverse customer set of all ages and families. Their American cafeteria food is very good. I love the fried chicken in particular with seasoned cabbage, green beans, and mashed potatoes and gravy. Taco bar is also welcome. For dinner I was surprised the steak came medium which is a welcome alternative to the well done found at lots of buffets. Good desserts selection, salad bar, two kinds of soup. Drink selection(extra charge to buffet) is excellent with coffee, hot chocolate in addition to soda. They even have a real Icee machine.
