Greenway 1 Hour Cleaners

I took a pair of my daughters pants in to have them hemmed, as she was being measured, I was quite clear that I wanted the ends of the pants rolled so they could be lengthened once as she grew. I even explained that I bought the pants long so she could wear them for more than one season. After we picked up the pants, I looked at the hem only to find the bottoms had been CUT!
Upon taking the pants in to ask for some sort of adjustment or credit, I was basically called a liar. The man who had measured my daughter claims there was no conversation about rolling the ends, He claims I simply asked to the ends hemmed and so I dont deserve any sort of credit or refund,…I was there and I can assure you I was clear about what I wanted done.
I am blown away by fact that the owner of this business would exhibit such a poor regard for his customers… over a $ 35 pair of pants… and then accept zero responsibility in the matter, and not even offer to refund the alteration fee while saying his customer is a liar.
All I can do is shake my head…

Despite what you may assume from the name, they don’t do one hour cleaning… My conversation went like this:
«Hi! I was wondering if I could do one hour cleaning for this blouse — I want to wear it to dinner tonight!»
«Sorry.»
“Oh… I mean, it doesn’t have to be an hour. Maybe like … 5 hours?”
«Sorry.»
“So… You don’t do dry cleaning in a couple hours… Ever?”
«Right.»
And then I turned around and walked away really awkwardly.
