This is an unattended, coin-​operated, self-​serve Laundromat. The Laundromat is thoroughly cleaned every night. We work hard to keep our washers and dryers maintained and in working order. The phone is answered at all hours every day by a real person.

*UNTIL YOU’RE DONE: The doors lock automatically from the outside at 10pm. After the doors are locked, you can only exit. You will not be able to get back in. You are welcome to stay as late as you want. You can even start a load at 10pm. Just don’t lock yourself out before you are done.

History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 we purchased our first laundromat (Progress Laundromat). The

seller of the laundromat gave us a few words of advice. He said, «Keep

it clean and keep the machines working and you’ll do fine». We took this

advice to heart and have run our laundromats (see locations below) with

a real hands-​on approach ever since. We are at each laundromat every

night to make sure it is kept clean and to address any problems. If a

machine is not working properly, we fix it that night if at all

possible. We strive to never have «Out of Order» signs on our washers or

dryers. Once in a while, we have to wait for parts and therefore the

machine has to be taken out of service until the parts arrive. In recent years,

we have replaced all of our washers and dryers with modern, energy-​efficient

equipment. We own and operate three self-​serve laundromats: Progress

Laundromat in Beaverton, Tualatin Laundromat in Tualatin and Vermont Hills

Laundromat in SW Portland.
