The chili cheese burger was great. The steak fries were too. The waitress was friendly and attentive. So much on the menu that we will be back and I will recommend this place.

Sorry Big Red’s, I’ve given you more than one chance but you blew it. I’ve ordered from here a couple times when I don’t feel like Thai or Chinese food(or cooking) and want something a little more ordinary. I did not come into it with high expectations at all and even that wasn’t met. The food wasn’t very good either time. The fries were so stale and cold they were pretty much inedible(once was to go, once was there). I got a different sandwich each time but neither was very good, the first time I barely ate any of it. I would prefer fast food to what I’ve gotten here. Today was the last straw. I ordered a sandwich after finding the menu on their website, soda too, and knew the prices from the menu. Someone else was picking it up for me and when I asked how much I owed them it came to $ 4 more than it should have. I made sure my friend tipped when picking it up and regret that too since the ranch I asked for wasn’t in there either. Fail all the way around.

My girlfriend and i frequent here for the drink specials and for breakfast(which is great). We went this afternoon and i got the bbq brisket with the santa fe chicken combo and it was absolutely horrible. My girlfriend got the San Antonio chicken sandwich and it was a huge disappointment! The chicken tasted like it was pre cooked ahead of time then just simmering in water or something. Very overcooked and dry. Even with the sauce all over it. I wouldnt recommend eating either of those. The brisket was definitely not made in house and the bbq sauce sucked also.

Very cheap drinks but takes forever to get waited on. We asked for a box and waited 20 minutes and finally left. Won’t come back.

My family went for dinner on a Sunday night and I am in a wheelchair and it was VERY hard 2 manuver around to get to a table. I had the babyback ribs which I love ribs but 99% of the time they are just to spicy but these were luscious and tender and the spice was perfect on them. I got the BBQ sauce on the side and I must say the sauce was TODIEFOR. I could have put that sauce in a glass and drank it. Our meals were excellant. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My Son is Autistic and they treated him with respect and dignity. The place was excellent for my Son cuz it was low keyed, quiet and the lights were dimmed. I HUGHLY recommend this place for thier ribs and for families that have special needs kids or adults.

We love this place, it makes for cheap fun date nights or mornings in fact with 3 different happy hours covering most the day. The girls are all very friendly and helpful even with the some of the ruder more inebriated customers. The food is good bar food nothing more nothing less but you can’t beat the prices.

In the burbs, we like dive bars. In the burbs, we love stiff drinks. In the burbs, we like free peanuts and the ability to toss the shells on the floor. In the burbs, our options are limited… Enter Big Reds. Sit in the bar, not the restaurant. Breakfast specials 7 days a week(now on weekends) is a mere $ 4 with a drink purchase. $ 3 for a 16oz stiff Sunday Bloody Mary is a steal. Their burrito on this menu is great, served with in-house-made salsa(not out of a jar) and house potatoes. Of course, the regular breakfast menu is always available, but the specials are a great deal. Happy Hour(HH) food is cheap and plentiful(full size burger with fries) and decent margaritas as well as great beers on special depending upon the night of the week. They have 2 drink specials a night for a few measly bucks. Service has been friendly 9 out of 10 times. Most of the servers on the weekend in the bar are friendly and do an über cool job of making sure you have everything you need. There is one cranky skanky server in the evenings who serves food with a side of attitude. She obviously hates working in the service industry(plates hit the table with a plonk sound and no smile or «do you need anything else») she always looks haggard, yet is probably 23 years old going on 48. The regular food menu is meehhh-average, some things good, others not so. Go for the peanuts, cheap breakfast, tex-mex, burgers and HH and wash it down with a great drink. You likely won’t find a better deal around.

Good local breakfast place. Great service. Good portion size kid friendly. They have a huge lounge area with many tvs for sports. Walking distance from home.

I tried this place for breakfast, ordering an omelette without cheese and rye toast dry. The omelette arrived with cheese and the waitress was very apologetic and took it back. She was great, by the kitchen really blew it. Obviously while they redid the omelette, they put the plate with the toast and hash browns into the salamander to keep them warm. All that did was really toughen the hash browns, totally dried out the toast and make the plate untouchably red hot. After a while, the hash browns were sticking to the plate. A pretty painful breakfast experience. So — good waitress, clueless kitchen, and the knowledge that there are MUCH better local alternatives for breakfast in this area.

We have been here several times, but on this particular visit, we didn’t have any kids. We sat in the bar, which is lively and low-level noisy. Peanut shells are all over the floor and crunch satisfyingly under my flip-flops. We found a seat and waited just a few minutes for our server who was very pleasant and remembered every tiny detail of our order. We ordered off the happy hour menu, and expected happy hour serving sizes. That’s not what we got. My wife’s burger and fries flowed over her plate, and my chicken fingers and waffle fries filled me up before I had a chance to tackle the last chicken finger. And it was delicious! You can have a lot of mediocre food for a low price and it’s an okay deal. When you get great food, and a lot of it, for a steal, then you my friend, have won the night. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I would say if you’re in a hurry, you should probably sit in the family dining area. The service initially is a little faster on that side, but whatever lack of speed you may experience in the bar is MORE than made up for by the quality of service you’ll receive.

Pretty casual dining. We would definitely come back on occasion. I got the bronco burger and the wife got the chicken fried steak. I would prefer her meal more, but the enchiladas and nachos looked really good. I’d definitely try one of those next time!

Employees are nice enough but at 11 a. m why they have the music cranked up so loud in the lounge is beyond me? I brought my elderly grandma there for keno and breakfast & she being hard of hearing and all was put off and annoyed with the loud music. We couldn’t take it and left before her keno games were done.

The first couple times I tried this place the Nachos & Fajitas were good, but now it is just inconsistant. I keep coming back hoping it will be a good day, but it’s more bad than not. I have tried their Nachos, Chicken Fajitas, Enchaladas, salads, Ribs, Santa Fe Chicken, & even sandwiches & a burger. Everything now is just«Eh». Maybe they need new cooks. Won’t be trying anything else or spending any money here anymore.

Fairly expensive lowish quality food. Dined at the restaurant, but heard locals screaming at the football game in the other room. We ordered veggie tacos and chicken fajitas. The Veggie’s were overcooked and wet. Limited guac, pico, sour cream and cheese on the side. The chicken fajitas were over cooked, dry, and under seasoned. We thought the prices were a bit hefty for the food we received. Very slow service, even though there were only two other people in the restaurant. Staff seemed to be tired and understaffed. Won’t be returning with all the other amazing options nearby.

Tigard does have a «locals» late night bar. I love coming here when I dont feel like going downtown to have a few drinks, play pool, and maybe meet some people. They pour good drinks, the beer is cold, and the juke box is always playing some tunes. Im not sure about the food here, I’ve only tried the liquids, but I hear the food isn’t bad either. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and a pool table. I like the fact that they’re open late as well. I recommend this place after 8pm for people in their early 20’s to mid 30’s that live in the Tigard/Beaverton area.

Go somewhere else for the price you pay here. I’ve had several meals at this place since I live around the corner, and each one has left – quite literally – a bad taste in my mouth. The quality of meat is so poor that I must question where it is they obtain it from, or what they obtain it from… My most recent foray to this place I purchased a pulled pork sandwich; the meat looked gray, it was mushy, and it didn’t much taste like pork. The other meals I’ve had included a chicken wrap which was mostly filler, a chicken sandwich which also had a weird gray tinge to it and tasted quite strange. I asked to speak with the manager, and specified the general manager, since they are the ones who order the inventory. She promptly came out, and after I gave my spiel she said things like, «that’s really strange, most comments are positive!» which I had a hard time believing. I was courteous about my complaint, and praised the server for doing all she could with what she had to work with, but reiterated that it was the GM’s shoulders that it fell upon. Bottom line; this place is decent for breakfast, good for peanuts and beer, and little else. I won’t get into the service, because sometimes it is good, and others I’ve waited over ten minutes for a menu and water after being seated. Save your money for something down the road that will be much better spent, and come here for the peanuts and beer.

An entire extra star for providing peanuts and allowing your customers to throw the shells on the floor! I heard an interview about this place on sports radio and the lady on the air sold me, talking about the friendly staff, great food, and good atmosphere. I figured what the hell, lets give this place a try. The drinks were reasonably priced with a nice option, the food was good and the peanuts were free. Booya! thank you Big Red’s as the old Arnold saying goes, «i’ll be back»
