I went here for tailor’s chalk. The local store was out of fabric markers and pointed me here. The store looks tiny from the outside but is very big on the inside. Supplies are organized and they had a good selection of everything. I saw a bunch of thread here for only 99 cents. The fabric pencils I bought were $ 4.99 though for a pair and I just found out that they don’t really work, great! Staff was friendly and polite.

I had my guest book from my wedding framed here. They were so helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. I brought the frame back to have the glass placed after the wedding and it was quick and painless. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

Ultra friendly staff. And the store looks ultra clean. Came in for some frames for my awards and noticed a super deal on pictures. A few of them had a few dents but they gave me 20% off them so i was happy. Also the store is very well stocked and the general crowd is higher class which is always good to see.

Baltimore! Do not attend this store. Also, try to go to local art supply stores not national chains. A friend of this posted told me about this story and I felt inclined to share it. She went to the store with a poster that this Assatta Shakur quote: «I have declared war on the rich who prosper on our property, the politicians who lie to us and all the mindless heartless robots who protect them and their property.» Below is her experience of what happened when she went to this Michael’s carrying this sign. «Needed to stop at Michael’s in Canton to get some materials for some jewelry projects, and I have my protest sign in hand, obviously because I’m going to a few protests afterward. As I begin to grab a cart I was stopped by the security guard, who said, «You can’t come in here with that sign, you are going to scare the employees and we don’t want you to start no riot! We don’t want nothing to do with all that over there!» … Welcome to Canton, still in Baltimore, but full of white privledged folks who don’t giva Shhhhhh bout what’s going on up the street. I welcome you…#baltimoreuprisings #whiteprivledge #baltimoreissegregated

Came here with my fiancée and our friend. They have a pretty decent selection of items, but there is a dearth of customer service representatives located around the store, which makes it hard to find what you’re looking for.

I don’t usually review retail stores but when all the employees are so super helpful you have to write a review! Great job Michael’s!!! Wish I had gotten all of their employees names because they really went above and beyond! What I can tell you is that I was there on December 16th so in the height of the holiday season they were all so! courteous and accommodating which was such a welcome departure this time of year so I recommend shopping there this season and beyond

If you don’t know the Michaels’ chain of stores, well, you are missing out. This is a «Go-to» store for arts and crafts… and a whole lot more. If you are a professional or, even better, an amateur artist or just want to make something creative, Michaels’ has just about everything you need. If you have young ones, there are lots of projects and fun things that can spark a young mind to grow ideas for the future. Prices are retail, of course, but they are not overly expensive. This location is a new store – everything is orderly and in place. There is not a thing I could find to improve upon. Check it out.
