Texas Pro DJ

Miles was the DJ for our wedding and he did a fantastic job. Music was extremely important to my husband and I so we splurged to get Miles who is the CEO of the company. Miles didn’t complain at all about any of our nontraditional requests (no YMCA, Top 40, or songs that tell you how to dance like the Cupid Shuffle; we wanted alternative/​pop punk music for the dinner; etc.), and he was so easy and fun to work with. Additionally, I am half Persian so we wanted half and half Persian and American music during the dancing. Miles did an amazing job switching between the two and he kept the dance floor going for two and a half hours on a 100 degree September day, making sure to get in as many of our requests as possible. Miles transitioned the songs seamlessly without the awkward pauses so many other DJs have, and he was a killer emcee. Miles even jumped in and started playing some music during the part of the ceremony where we were signing the marriage certificate when he realized it was taking longer than anticipated. He’s a very intuitive DJ. The only flub was during our introduction at the reception when Miles almost forgot that I did not take my husband’s name and was not going to be a «Mrs.», but it was a small error considering how fantastic everything else was.

I booked Miles thru a referral in Austin, as I was planning an event from out of state. As an event planner, I have used tons of DJs and NOT ONE of them compares to the night we had with Miles. He was spot on with the music selections for the group and was great at getting them on the dance floor. He was even kind enough to let them get on his equipment and guest DJ. We had an absolute blast with Miles and would HIGHLY recommend him. If you want a good time, book Miles… you won’t be disappointed.

Andrew was a fantastic DJ for our wedding. We received so many compliments on the music from guests. He kept everyone dancing all night! I cannot recommend Texas Pro DJ enough. They are excellent

I got so many, BEST WEDDING EVER comments, and I know they were not raving about the flowers! Miles created such a fun wedding for us. I think if there is one thing to splurge on, it is the DJ. Miles not only was a great DJ, but he helped MC the whole wedding. He was an integral part of making our whole day come together and it would not have been the same without him.

WOW!!! We had the daunting task of finding «THE BEST DJ IN TOWN» for our one and only daughter and (child’s wedding) ! Of course she wanted to get married on June 20, 2015, the most popular wedding month! At the time of her engagement we had soooo many things happening! Our house just sold and we had to pack. Also, our 12 year old miniature Schnauzer was killed by a coyote and the three of us had to go through 3 weeks of Rabies shots!!! BUT we had to find venues, photographers and DJ’s. From the first phone call I made to TX PRO DJ’s and spoke to Michael Roos, who was on his way to open an office in Dallas, I felt at complete ease! This company owned by Miles is first class. We met with him and KB who was our DJ and we constructed a time line and music time table and playlist. KB was INCREDIBLE!!! HE worked meticulously with the photographer and venue director to keep things flowing! He not only played songs from the playlist, but he took requests from the guests ! Our guests were complimenting the music all night. ANY ONE planning a wedding or other event should hire TX PRO DJ’s!!! I found Texas Pro DJ at the Austin Wedding Extravaganza, and it was THE MOST FUN BOOTH. I knew if they could make me dance for the slow motion video mid afternoon, they’d be able to do wonders at a reception. I was terrified they’d be out of budget, but meeting with Nick let me know it would be worth every dollar.
During our initial meeting, Nick helped me create a minute-​by-​minute timeline of the ceremony and reception, incorporating my loose ideas with their collective knowledge of wedding flow/​timing. It felt so comforting to work with people who knew what they were doing, and seeing the timeline on paper was the first moment of planning that made the wedding feel like a real event we would enjoy.
A week before the wedding, Shea helped me collaborate with DJ ANDREW to hold my hand through selecting the final list of ceremony and reception songs. Andrew made me feel incredibly confident that my special requests would be included, that he’d edit our first dance song to make it appropriately dancey, and that my indie dinner vision would become a reality.
He was completely right. It was awesome. He was so accommodating despite the torrential rain that relocated our cocktail hour, and his dinner vibes perfectly matched our vision. When the dance floor opened up, we no longer needed chairs in the reception hall. By the second song, someone started the train, and so many guests joined in that we formed a complete dancing circle around the entire reception hall. Guests who said they didn’t dance proved themselves wrong, and Andrew read the crowd perfectly to make aunts, uncles, college friends, and coworkers all feel equal pride in tearing up the dance floor.
I can’t say enough positive things about how much fun Andrew made our reception. Booking Texas Pro DJ is a great decision, and Andrew will seriously make your night if you can snag him.

Miles and Anthony were INCREDIBLE.
Miles helped me convert an old cassette tape I had of me and my sisters singing «Butterfly Kisses» when we were 10 to a digital track that we used for the father-​daughter dance. My Dad knew we were singing to Butterfly Kisses but had no idea we put the older track on top of the actual song, and he was brought to tears. It was such a special moment.
Anthony perfectly mixed our «hip-​hop meets pop meets latino» music request and guests stayed on the dance floor all night long. He perfectly transitioned from dinner music to dance music and then to PARTY music once the after party started. I can’t wait to have another big celebration so we can book Texas Pro DJ again!

We are so excited to have miles to dj our wedding. The first meeting with him was great. He is friendly, creative and is very passionate about his work. He was warm and caring and I believe he will make our special night everything that we dream it to be

Michael at Texas Pro DJ was the best. He just got us. I told him mellow electronic and he knew exactly what that meant, I told him songs to play and he played everyone of them. I was dancing while I was eating, I was dancing while I was talking to people and occasionally I would stop mid-​conversation to run to the dance floor because the music was EXACTLY what we wanted.
The minute the dance floor opened up people were there and they stayed there. He listened to our guests’ requests and played what they wanted even if it wasn’t top 40. Seriously, the music made the party and I cannot thank Michael enough for the incredibly perfect time we had because of his energy and interaction with the crowd.

Miles and Anthony are the BOMB!!! Anthony was our wedding DJ and he ROCKED THE HOUSE!
We found this amazing crew at the Bridal Expo last year, and they have been nonstop fun ever since. Miles and Anthony are SO legit, and if you didn’t know– Miles started the Dub Academy in town. If you are looking for a REAL DJ and not just a guy standing there with an iPod, you found the right people.
Miles and Anthony are fun, talented, professional, knowledgable, experienced and loving. They have a great portal to help you organize the music for your entire event, and they do a great job helping you iron out every detail before the big day. They made some great suggestions on music that we loved, and they had every song planned out to the minute. In addition to the music, Anthony was an amazing host. He made announcements and guided our guests throughout the entire evening. He can command a room with professionalism and warmth. My guests were in great hands that night.
The music for the dance segment was AWESOME. EVERYONE was dancing and the floor was filled all night long. Anthony can change the mood of the room in an instant and get everyone on their feet. He played all of our favorites and avoided the songs we hated. He was energetic and bubbly all evening, and it made us feel like he was a part of our family. WE LOVE THESE GUYS! You’d be stupid to not hire them ;)

My husband and I discovered Miles and Texas Pro DJ at our friend’s wedding in Austin. At that time we were engaged and on the lookout for DJ’s that mixed and spinned music. Miles did such a great job that night, I knew I wanted to consider them for our wedding.
Upon meeting Miles and his team, I knew they were a focused, yet fun team. I, personally, appreciated the detailed timelines and attention to transitioning the mood throughout the event. My husband and I communicated our personal style and the atmosphere we wanted to create, and they delivered wonderfully!
DJ Michael executed our out of town, outdoor wedding, and he kept it classy and fun. Our wedding reception was around 7 hours, and 5 hours was seriously non-​stop dancing! We didn’t want the night to end and neither did the guests. Upon returning from our honeymoon, we heard endless compliments from our friends and family about how awesome the DJ was during the wedding reception.
I highly recomend their business and am holding back one star as I want to use them for a future event and see them top our wedding! Their correspondence is great and they are the LAST thing any bride should worry about on their wedding day, as they are truly experts at what they do.

The DJ we hired for our wedding, Brad Buehler, was absolutely great. I work in the music industry and I was a bit worried about having a hired DJ represent my taste in music, but he really came through and understood what we wanted.
One thing I didn’t expect, which was GREAT, was that he helped a lot with the scheduling on-​site — organizing the crowds for cake cutting, bouquet toss, exit, etc. We didn’t have a wedding planner so it was really helpful to have someone on top of that stuff. The staff are super organized and dependable. They have a nice website interface where you can add songs you want to hear at certain times. You can just kind of describe the «vibe» you want for a certain part of the reception and they’ll work with that, or give them a few artists you like and they’ll build a playlist around it.
Brad did a great job finding music that would please me and my wife, our friends, and our family at the same time, which isn’t easy. Everything from 90s R&B to Texas Country to Frank Sinatra to current Top 40 stuff. We had people from the ages of 3 to 75 dancing, including family members who I don’t think I’ve ever seen dance. Two of my groomsmen did the «Dirty Dancing» lift-​above-​the-​head dance move at one point. It got crazy.
We got a lot of compliments after the wedding about his set too, everyone loved it.
The best part is that you know they’re professionals, so you don’t have to worry about them screwing things up and you can just relax and enjoy the party.

You will NOT find a DJ service better than Texas Pro DJs! Just about all of my wedding guests personally came up to me to tell me this was the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. Brad and Kellen worked so well as a team and delivered smooth mixes. They read the crowd well and kept everyone on the dance floor for over 7 hours straight! People that don’t normally dance, were dancing! There was not one song we didn’t like, and let me tell you, the groom is very particular about his music. Brad and Kellen were also very professional about handling song requests. They knew the perfect time to play the request and stuck to our «do not play» list. When we requested a song, they found it instantly and transitioned it in! My guests also commented on their dress and how professional they looked. These guys are top notch and if you want your guests to remember your night, I would suggest you go with Texas Pro DJs. They have true talent and are not a playlist company.
Coordinating my event with this company was super easy and gave me a place to start. Before I walked in, I didn’t even have a timeline of events. Miles help me set that up within ten minutes! Emily is great to deal with too! She answered all of my emails and calls quickly.
I am so pleased with our decision to go with Texas Pro DJs. I’m really missing that night already and am looking for other reasons to hire them again!

Texas Pro DJ was top-​notch at my wedding! Anthony not only played every song I had pre-​requested, he also took many last-​minute requests by guests. He kept everyone on the dance floor!
Miles was also great to work with and greatly helped me plan my wedding day timeline. I loved the company’s website setup: customers get their own login and profile where they can edit their timeline and create their playlist.

Anthony is the guy! He is a ton of fun and really plays good music. I am music lover and I haven’t been impressed by other DJ’s in the Austin area, as they somethimes play good tunes but for the most part bad ones. Anthony with Texas Pro DJ keeps the party going, for the people that love to dance, he will make sure u don’t stop dancing.
He has played for our company 4 different times and pretty soon he is doing my family’s 10 year anniversary party.

We used Texas Pro DJ for our daughter’s 13^th birthday party. We called Texas Pro Dj because our friends had also used them so we knew they were good. We reserved Anthony and he was amazing. By the end of the party the adults were dancing along with the kids, we all had so much fun.
We would absolutely call to have them DJ for us again!

Texas Pro DJ has been helping us out with our annual fundraiser for the past 3 years! Miles was able to DJ the event for the first two and then recommended Anthony for this last year. We were so very pleased with their willingness to help out on short notice and there compassion for reducing their rates to make our event an even bigger success! Chelsea was our coordinator for the project and stayed on top of every detail and was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Not only do their outgoing personalities fit the bill, they bring the talent too! They brought all of their own equipment including a microphone that was a necessity to keep the night moving and our guests informed. They are a bit pricey, but you will NOT be disappointed.

I mean I have never had to hire a DJ before but I can’t imagine it gets any better than these guys!
I have a lot to say but it is because all aspects of this company were superb!
How we met: I was attempting a close budget but I still have my fiancé (now husband) free reign to choose a DJ. He followed grudgingly behind me through a bridal extravaganza and when I turned around and he was gone I found him standing memorized in from of the Texas Pro DJ booth as one of the guys showed him all they could do, he was sold.
I told him I would check them out, but after seeing so many vendors I had already reassumed that by their set up they would be out of our price range, I mean they looked like all you ever wanted. I made a call though and was shocked that they were so reasonable and willing to work with what I needed. The woman on the phone was also incredibly nice and so helpful.
Meeting: Now we meet Anthony, our DJ. I gathered up my soon to be husband, my «music coordinator», which was a good friend who was incredibly music savvy, and my father who had come in town as the wedding was approaching. I went into the meeting with all my notes in hand and ready to just chisel out the minor things and be on our way. Anthony greeted us in their Dub academy, which was incredible, if I were knew anything about music and being a disc jockey, this place would have been heaven. Anthony immediately brought out some Doxx and this already took the edge off of a stressed bride. He started asking some questions, getting to know us, and quickly won over this diverse group; my dad who is as country as they come and wanted old school and country music, my husband who wanted Spanish music, my music coordinator who suggested all the new hits, and me, who didn’t care what was played as long as people danced.
Anthony went through each event, as well as each hour, to choose what song we wanted or types of songs we wanted through the hour. I was clueless most of the time, not realizing there were so many things you had to choose songs for, but he had great suggestions and before we knew it we had everything lined out. My favorite part! When glancing through the contract before the meeting I noticed it said the DJ plays for 4 hours, so I had planned minute by minute to make sure we had the DJ for 4 hours of dancing. This meant I had decided that I would somehow hide a boom box under a table or something in the cocktail hour and another in the dinner so there would be background music and it wouldn’t take up the 4 hours with the DJ. It was not classy but I did not know what else to do. When we arrived at the meeting, over Doxx I told Anthony my plan. He stared at me like I was crazy and laughed. He explained to me that these 4 hours were not a set in stone sort of thing and if I needed background music they would set it up, he assured me it was no problem. He told me that all I needed was to tell give him our time line for the wedding and he would make sure everything was great. He even put together some great music to play while people ate. This was something that had plagued me from the beginning and he had quickly wiped out a large stress for the wedding day (and he thought I was funny trying to set up boom boxes).
Day of: Anthony showed up early, I know they say they will show up hours early, I’m not sure how early he was, but I was surprised and delighted to see him. He came to the bride’s house and I believe was the only man all day that braved his way into the house FULL of women while we were getting ready. He looked very handsome in his suit and colors matching out wedding! He told me how wonderful I looked and assured me everything would be perfect and wanted to see if there was anything I needed from him. So considerate. I am told he then made his way to the grooms quarters, and reviewed things with the boys and hung with them for a minute (safer than the brides house). I didn’t see him again until wedding time, but he was all set up and everything was wonderful. My planner told me at one time that we would need more lights for the reception (Anthony had suggested the same weeks before and I didn’t think so… but he was right), she said she would ask Anthony and never heard another word about it, but as the reception began, there they were and it was perfect.
Through the entire day Anthony was incredible. People LOVED him; I had people coming up all night saying he was great! At one point I hear cheering and come around the corner to find my now husband, behind the DJ booth with Anthony, headphones on, pretending to be DJ spinning, and all the guests are crowded around laughing and taking photos. It was really wonderful.
Anthony even, without me even realizing, convinced our wedding vendor to let the party go later, when we all weren’t ready to go!

WOW! Miles and Anthony were the DJs at my wedding and they did a phenomenal job!!! They not only played the best music keeping everyone on the dance floor, but they were mixing the songs on the transitions… ah I just can’t express how amazing they were. Every now and then they would do little choreographed dances and they even let me (the bride) get behind the turn tables and mix things up. They also provided up lights for our room and a bubble machine for our departure. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, also pay extra for Miles, he made the night!
