I just saw the news piece on KVUE in Austin, TX about Chef Jay! This man is donating his time, own money, food, and efforts to feed the people in Wimberley, TX. A town that was devastated by historic flood levels on the Blanco river. I will definitely be using Chef Jay Events for my catering needs. Thank you for showing there is hope for humanity!

I highly recommend Chef Jay! He catered my wedding in January and his food and staff were amazing. Our original caterer went MIA the week before the wedding and this sent us to panic mode. We contacted Chef Jay Sunday evening. He returned our call that same evening, and we had a contract signed by Monday afternoon. He was very responsive, affordable and made us feel so important. I highly recommend his 52 hour smoked brisket, stuffed pork tenderloin and mac n cheese bar. Our guests commented all night about how fabulous the food was. He made the night perfect. It has been a couple weeks since we had Chef Jay cater a dinner for us. From the initial email to the end of dinner, Chef was the consummate professional. We were in the Lagos Vista area for our daughter’s wedding and on short notice (less than a week) we contracted Chef Jay to cater a family dinner. The meal was amazing! Starting with the cheese and fruit trays, moving on to the smoked brisket and finishing up with cheesecake.

Chef Jay Events recently catered one of my good friend’s weddings and the food and service was AMAZING. I plan events for my company and have seen many a caterer in my day (some good, some not so good) and Jay and his team were absolutely top notch! Wow, just wow! Having received a recommendation from a friend for Chef Jay Events, I called him up to inquire about him catering our wedding. From the moment we had our first phone conversation, I knew that I had found my caterer. Jay is one of the nicest, most sincere, accommodating, laid-​back people I’ve ever spoken with and his food is absolutely out of this world! I was married at Zilker Park Clubhouse with an orange, near full-​moon rising behind the glittering Austin skyline, and although that received some compliments, the thing I heard about most all evening was the food!
I selected the following items, wanting a buffet of foods folks could graze on throughout the evening as they milled about: Bacon-​Wrapped Dates with Sage, Wagyu Sliders with Aged Cheddar, Caprese Salad Skewers (vegan), Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms (veggie), Chimichurri Chicken Skewers, Fresh Fruit and Cheese Skewers, Thick Cut Potato Chip with Goat Cheese, Spiced Walnuts, and Roasted Red Peppers (veggie), Endive Leaf with Blue Cheese, Bacon, and Onion Jam, Crostini with Kalamata Tapenade, Feta, and Sun-​Dried Tomato (veggie), and Giant Asparagus wrapped in Puff Pastry and Parmesan (veggie). Each and every item was mouth-​wateringly delicious!
Jay and his staff were professional, friendly, fun, kind, and went way beyond the extra mile to ensure my guests, best «helper» friends who were helping the wedding flow, and of course, myself and the groom, were never without food, drink, an extra hand (or 6), or a smile.
I can’t say enough about the exceptional level of service we received, and recommend Chef Jay for ANY of your future catering needs. He is an absolute gem. Book him while you can before everyone figures out he is the best there is.

Don’t let the lack of reviews fool you. We decided to hire Chef Jay to cater our annual Oscar Party, even though I couldn’t find any reviews. I am so glad I did! Chef Jay prepared many delicious foods that Wolfgang Puck actually served at the Oscar’s this year, and each and every bite was delicious! Everyone at the party was very impressed with Chef Jay’s skill, professionalism, charm, and with the quality of food that was served. We will definitely ask Chef Jay to cater our next event!
