Robert’s crew which consists of four brothers did an outstanding job. I will never use another flooring company again-​they have set the bar extremely high. They pay exceptional care to each detail from cutting the wood to grout to cleanup. They went above and beyond compared to any other company out there.

I just spoke with the front desk about refinishing some wood floors. Unfortunately, they don’t offer this service, but the woman was very courteous and gave me the number for two companies who do refinish wood floors.

My house flooded back in October and Julie was the first person that made me feel like we were actually going to come out of the ordeal in one piece! Like all contractors in Austin, they are super busy, but still managed to get our old floors out and new floors installed as quick as possible.
I had already made up my mind that I wanted wood grain tile with a small grout line (of course that’s expensive) and really dark. Robert came by my house with a van full of flooring and showed me a few samples. After seeing them in my house I decided on this amazing grey toned style which I was iffy about before seeing it in my home.
Not only did they treat me like a valued customer and get my job done quickly and perfectly, Robert also took time to look over our insurance allocation and broke down the numbers to figure out exactly how much money we had to spend (trust me, every form I’ve gotten from FEMA has been like jibberish so this was such a relief to know how much we could afford).

I was extremely impressed with the service I received from Robert and Julie and their crew. Not only are they both very pleasant to work with, they were able to squeeze my job in on a tight schedule, find a wood to match with my existing, but discontinued wood flooring, and come in under the price that I had been quoted by the company who had just installed a sizable amount of carpeting. From the day I first contacted them to the final day of installation was less than a week. AND they repaired a padding mishap from the carpet installation of the other guys. AND they sent me flowers. Who does that in this day and age? Robert and Julie Peoples, that’s who.

Robert and Julie run a fantastic business. Robert came out and patiently helped us through all the choices and let us explore all the options until we found the right one for us.
Julie stayed on top of the scheduling and kept in touch all the way to the install date. The team that showed up was professional and experienced. It was a big job (one floor, five days) but they kept pace and did everything well.
We couldn’t be happier with the experience and love the new look for our home. We’ll certainly call them again for the second floor. :)

This was one of the best experiences I have had! From the first call Julie was helpful, honest and direct, before I even made an appointment. Robert was super thorough in helping me to select hardwoods and carpet for my home, sending helpful information and photos. Both of them delivered on everything they said they would and I got a higher quality product than I would have from large the retailers in half the time. I was on a very short timeline before moving and they delivered. Most importantly, my floors and the extra tile work I had done around the fireplace look amazing! I cannot say enough about them and their work.

Robert and Julie are amazing. I have had the benefit of their services 3 times, with 3 extremely different clients and price points. Robert IS service… he has patience coming out of his ears… he makes it easy, he is an excellent listener and he follows through.
Robert asks a bunch of questions on the phone, then curates what he brings to your home, from what he has that would suit your needs. Wide variety of wood options, sisal, carpeting… I do not know of any other flooring companies that do this. It is one thing to see flooring in a store, and quite another to see it in your own space with your own lighting.
Their subs were wonderful to work with– respectful– and Robert even shows up at the end of the job for final walk-​through and to make sure the guys cleaned up. When final touch ups or cleaning was needed, he even did it himself. Very impressed.
I would recommend them and work with them again in a heartbeat.

My wife had spoken to the owner about 3 weeks back (she sounded very nice and knowledgeable) However, despite mentioning that her husband would be calling back after a few days, never heard back till date. Guess they must be very busy with other customers.

Robert truly is one of the most responsive business owners I’ve met. He and Julie seem to have a good handle on what’s happening and their efforts together seem to pay off, which ultimately helps the consumer. He spent tons of time upfront and tons of time throughout the project to get everything set and settled. I really cannot find a single thing that was not handled well during our project. Well done Robert and Julie, especially in a market where customer service is not emphasized since most seem to have more work than they can handle.

Very happy with their service. They were very attentive, listened to what I wanted, and responded quickly to all questions. I also appreciated that they heard me about wanting something inexpensive (for a rental property) and gave me tips on how to make it last. They offered some more expensive options for comparison, but didn’t try to upsell me to spend extra money.

Can’t stress enough the fact that Robert comes to your home with samples so that you can see them in the proper context. He also will give you perhaps more choices than you would ever want, but he challenges you to think out of the box, and he is VERY knowledgable about the products that he shows you. The net result is that you feel very satisfied that you have made an informed choice. The installation crew was great — efficient, good craftsmanship, and good customer service. Peoples bent over backwards to worked with our schedule. We are very happy customers!

FCI did my floors — about 1200 sq ft with hand scraped engineered hardwood, and they did a fantastic job. Both the materials and the installation are perfect. They also replaced all my baseboards, and got all the work done in less than 2 days. the installers are very efficient and everyone on the crew knew what they were doing. Great job, I will definitely use them again and I have recommended them to my neighbors.

Robert and Julie Peoples were GREAT! Robert spent a lot of time with us making certain we were comfortable with our hardwood selection. Very helpful on the front end.
Once the selection was made, Julie took over scheduling the installation. She even called to see if we could let them install earlier that scheduled!
The install crew was the best I have EVER seen. They removed 700sf of existing carpet, moved furniture, and installed hardwood in less than 1.5 days. Their efficiency was that of a well oiled machine and their quality was the best I’ve ever seen! I say this as someone who spent over 43 years in construction and is familiar with quality work.
Overall, as pleasant an experience you can have when you let strangers into your home for remodeling!

Fantastic experience. Robert must have put 3 dozen products in front of us and we picked a very unique, hand scraped-​looking vinyl plank. The installers were very professional and careful with our furniture when moving it. Julie called multiple times to make sure we were scheduled at a time that was convenient for us. We love our new floors!

People’s Signature Flooring is the best flooring experience I’ve ever had. They have the best customer service and the people they sent out to do the job were top notch. Very impressed.

I cannot recommend Peoples Signature Flooring enough. I would give them more stars if I could. I know this probably sounds repetitive (yet another 5-​star rating, boooring!), but it’s true. They are the best. But I plan to never have anyone else to compare them to – why bother?
Why are they the best?
1. They come to you. This is exactly what we were looking for. We have two small kids and we didn’t want to have to run around buying flooring, buying the wrong thing, etc. Robert estimated it would take about 3 hours for an in-​home consultation and it did. But that’s because he’s thorough. He has to do so many calculations!
Robert first emailed me tons of photos and that helped us narrow down our likes and dislikes. We also talked laminate vs hardwood. Then when he came by he brought out samples that he thought we’d like and samples of stuff we didn’t like just to be sure. That van holds way more than you’d think.
2. Robert didn’t try to upsell. He was honest and straightforward (this is the middle-​of-​the-​road wood, this is low-​cost, this is what I’m installing in flip-​houses, etc). He comes up with scenarios we would have never thought of, like if you no longer have carpet downstairs, then your first step is going to get dirty, fast. Another veteran home-​owner mentioned the same thing after the fact, but we never would have thought of that. Robert thinks of everything.
The quote was actually lower than what Robert had estimated over the phone based on photos. So that was a bonus.
3. His installer guys are quick, clean, and amazing at what they do. They got to work and got done quickly. Anuart was our lead and he even measured my new vanity to figure out if he should install the baseboards in my restroom before or after we installed the vanity.
4. Julie is super-​nice. Not fake-​over-​the-​top-​nice, but really, genuinely nice. She does all the scheduling and we did have to go back and forth but she was just so easy to work with. Same with anyone else who answered, there’s Erica and at least one guy I spoke with. All very helpful.
5. Ten minutes after the installers left I got a small bouquet of flowers in a Peoples Signature Flooring mug. Now that’s smart! It wasn’t so big that I was like «This is where my money is going?!» It was small and thoughtful. Because getting new floors (and baseboards!) is kind of like getting a new house. And that is a big deal.

Robert and Julie are amazing from start to finish. They are very detail oriented and professional. I recommend them very highly. First, they steered me toward the right type of carpet that would look good on my circular staircase (which was not what I had in mind) and that, in and of itself, is invaluable because it looks FABULOUS. They installed carpet on two staircases, one which was circular, and two entire floors. I got more than my money’s worth. On the third floor, Robert figured out a way to not have a seam in the middle of the room. Wonderful! Any issues that arose, they were prompt and on top of it. I am very, very picky and I can tell you that they addressed every single teeny, tiny detail. I also spilled calamine lotion on the carpet (not covered under the stain warranty); however, they arranged for the spot to be cleaned at no charge to me. What excellent service!

I absolutely love my floors! Peoples Signature Flooring was honest and reliable.
Robert spent a good two hours displaying different styles and brands, and explaining the different processing practices and standards of wood. Honestly, after explaining what I wanted I was thrilled with the first sample Robert pulled out. I could have made my decision right there, but I am glad I did not. Robert patiently waited and provided his honest opinion as we debated between multiple styles and manufacturers. He even helped us consider our ultimate design plan (providing ideas for future projects as well).
Scheduling the installation was easy and hassle free. Everyone I spoke with in the office was kind and accommodating. We were not living in the home at the time of the installation, but I could tell the installers worked quickly and efficiently with respect for our home.
The end product is gorgeous. Better than I ever could have imagined!

Stellar service. We had some severe damage to our wood floors which were inslalled almost 14 years ago. PSF was able to repair the damage to a very high standard and was barely noticable. Highly reccomended!

This was a full-​service home improvement company. That is SUPER RARE to begin with and kind of floored me from the get-​go. (whomp whomp)
But seriously, Robert did everything he could to get a sense of what I wanted and then brought oodles of samples over to my house so I could swish them from room to room and hem and haw over all my choices. Everything from high-​end hardwoods to luxury vinyl plank to my final choice, laminate, was brought out for inspection. I eventually found something I fell in love with for its durability and look and we were set.
Robert gave me an estimate over the phone and one in-​person that were very similar. I booked with Julie, his wife, later that week and we were ready to go. We even got the floors installed a work day sooner because they had an opening. Yes, you read that right — we got the job done earlier than expected!
While this sure isn’t as cheap as DIY, it sure is worth the trouble of spending days and days trying to DIY while all your various crap is piled up in other areas of the house. They were efficient, clean, and totally awesome. I love my new floors and I especially love the service I got from this company! Thank you.
