I am no stranger to slugging my boyfriend and beast of a bulldog across country for work. Within a year from California to Philly and Philly to Austin, I was tired of everything a move entails and needed some help! We flew into Austin a week before our move to look at properties. The smart car we rented was economical and environmentally responsible but I couldn’t wait to get out of that «death trap». Myrna was happy to drive us from location to location, give history on the area, take us to the local hang outs and made us feel incredibly welcomed.
Myrna instantaneously felt like a long-​lost friend. Over lunch we discussed what we thought of the properties, pros, cons and the neighborhoods. We were young professionals searching for a rental. There was no big commission to be made off of our business, but Myrna took sincere interest in helping find our perfect rental.
The day we flew out, our process of securing the property was not finished (due to our part). In the morning we packed both cars and the bulldog to start our trek cross-​mid-​country. She only had three days to finalize everything with our landlord with paperwork and payment. We left her with no easy feat!
As we pulled up to our property the landlord was there to greet us with keys in hand. It was such a relief knowing we had Myrna helping us through the whole process. She is now helping us months after our move. We can not thank her enough!

Myrna was very supportive through the entire process encouraging us to take our time to ensure we found exactly what we were looking for. She was always constantly looking for any potential downsides we wouldn’t have thought of in advance so that we were aware of them as we made our decisions (e.g. traffic flow). She studied the market and the comps ahead of time so that we understood what would be a fair price if we decided to make an offer and also to prepare the listing agents for potential negotiations. We found Myrna after placing a call to CB United about possible short term rentals in Austin. We were moving from Baltimore and had very little knowledge of the area or the market. We quickly decided that renting was not going to be what we needed and decided that we would look to purchase a home. Myrna set us up with a custom website to view possible matches to what we were looking for online. She was available at all hours day and night to answer questions and tailor or listings more. We decided to fly to Austin and Myrna picked us up from the airport. We were in town for 24 hours on a quest to find a house and put in a contract. We looked at countless homes and she worked with us until after midnight to get a contract in before we had to fly home. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
