I found Amanda’s very unique flyer in my Keller Williams office in Silicon Valley. She offered a certain referral fee for clients who move from Silicon Valley to Austin, TX. When my friends moved from Sacramento to Austin, I knew who would be a perfect real estate agent for them, Amanda. She exceeded all expectations. Not only did she help my friends purchasing the homes of their dreams, she also provided a smooth transaction and referral payment process and always kept in touch with me. Give me an A for Amanda if I have clients who move to Austin, TX.

I moved to Austin 4 years ago for work and have always lived in apartments, not knowing if I was really here to stay. When I finally decided this was the place for me and to bite the bullet and buy a house, I had NO idea where to begin! How do you find a good real estate agent? How do you know they will work hard to find what you want, are ethical, and trustworthy? Who will work around my busy schedule? Who will know how to find what I want in a home? I tried working with an agent suggested by a friend, but he was tough to communicate with because he was so busy, taking on as many clients as possible. Let me tell you, it was a breath of fresh air when I found Amanda! I randomly stumbled upon Amanda at an open house that I happened to drive by and decided to check out. After speaking with her for a few minutes and after she kindly made sure I was not already signed on to work exclusively with another agent, I decided to give it a whirl.
After she sent me the MLS for the houses that fit what I was looking for, we went out to check out some of the ones I liked the best. Our first drive together was one that I will never forget, especially after my negative experience of just trying to work with one of the supposed «best realtors» in the area. I remember asking Amanda, «How many clients do you typically work with at one time?» and expecting the answer to go along the lines of «as many as will work with me!» After all, that’s how agents make their money, right? Her response astounded me. «I only work with a maximum of 5 active clients at a time, meaning 5 clients who are actively looking for a house. Once they go into closing that means they are no longer active.» She went on to elaborate that this way she was able to give individualized attention to each client she has, and to make sure to find exactly what they were looking for. WOW!
Another time Amanda stood out as different among agents was after I had looked at a house that was larger than I was originally looking for, but in the geographic location I wanted and under my budget. I decided to put an offer in, not 100% sure it was the right move, but knowing that resale value would be great and after all, it was a big house BELOW budget! The next morning, I woke up with a pit in my stomach, realizing I was not happy with my decision. Before I even had the opportunity to share my feelings with Amanda, she called me and said «I have been up all night thinking about you. Are you sure you want to put an offer in on this house? We can still pull it if you want, since they haven’t responded yet.» Are you kidding me?! Most agents would be counting the dollars that were about to go in their pocket now that the job was «done» and not give two hoots about how I felt!
I could go on and on with ways Amanda earned my trust and helped me find the right house, which I did, less than a month after I started working with her. Even after finding my home, Amanda was a pleasure to work with and made the process from start to closing seamless and as effortless as possible.
Although I read Unilocal reviews on a regular basis for local businesses, restaurants, etc., this is the first time I have ever been so impressed as to actually write my own Unilocal review. Yes, she is that good! You will NOT be disappointed!

My wife and I were in the market, not too sure how to go about it, interested but tentative. Met Amanda and felt right at home with her.
When we signed we told her we were worried about getting our house ready for selling. She gave us extremely good advice: paint this, fix that, move stuff to storage. Wanting to sell our house quickly we were going to sign up for more upgrades than were necessary. House was in good shape, but being a huge fan of home improvement shows, was about to sink more money in than we would get back. She steered us in the right direction, and we were able to sell as quickly as we had hoped.
After we found the new house, things did not go as planned. There was an issue with a brick wall that what we dubbed «the wall of doom». She worked with the seller to not only get an engineer out to certify that the wall was safe and only a cosmetic fix, but also insisted we know exactly how much the repairs would cost! We had the option of making them fix it, or (due to time constraints) fixing it ourselves. We chose to fix it ourselves. So Amanda made sure that any repair cost would be deducted from closing, so we knew we would would have enough to cover the cosmetic repair.
Amanda and her crew really do go above and beyond. We knew she was in this process with us, taking late night calls and texts, working around the clock to make sure my family and I were going to taken care of. She even called the mortgage broker on our behalf when things there were not going our way.
Long story short, we are in the house of our dreams and could not be happier.
Would give 10 stars if that was an option!

Met Amanda at an open house, once we met her we knew we had found the right realtor. When she says she loves first time home buyers she means it. My husband and I knew what we wanted but were scared of the process. Not only did Amanda walk us through it she was seriously our advocate.
When we put our house on the market (a very scary process for us) I told her I was most concerned about the photos that would be posted. The photographer did exactly the kind of work I was expecting. None of that fish eye stuff. Good pictures that showed exactly the layout. Honest but beautiful. The house had offers within two weeks! No small feat for a tiny house with no garage.
Now on to the new house. The first house we picked we wanted very badly. Had the home inspection and found out it was a lemon. Knowing that time was running out, she took us within the hour to four other houses that were in our budget. Fell in love with the first one and we were able to get it !
Amanda was always patient with us. I am a bit of a worrier and she could always calm our fears. She was honest about the pros and cons and of each decision and we were able to make the right choices for us.
Would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling. If I even think a friend or coworker is thinking about buying or selling I immediately tell them «here is the number to call!»
