Description

Specialties

I offer a variety of French language classes and translating services tailored to each person. Language Flow classes are always held in a creative, relaxed setting which makes your language learning experience fun, unique and effective. I am a native Fench speaker and a certified teacher. Four years ago I was certified as a teacher while teaching at the Austin international school and in the past three years I taught at The Khabele School as French teacher, a Spanish teacher and a high school advisor. This year I have decided to dedicate myself fully to the art of private lessons and translation. I have learned that each individual is unique and has his/her own way of learning, and I enjoy exploring that potential with my students of all ages and levels.

I have a true passion and appreciation for the openness and intelligence that come with learning about foreign languages and cultures. I am grateful to be able to share my passion as a career.

History

Established in 2011.

For the past three years I taught at The Khabele School in Austin, Texas, where I had extremely rewarding experiences teaching both French and Spanish to high school and middle school students. In addition I was a student advisor. Prior to that time, I completed my teacher certification while assistant teaching at the Austin International School. Earlier during summers in France, I worked at the Chantilly Bilingual Montessori School. This work was instrumental in directing me toward securing my teaching certification. This year I have decided to dedicate myself fully to the art of private lessons and translation, and I am very much excited!

I have learned that each individual is unique and has his/her own way of learning, and I enjoy exploring that potential with my students of all ages and levels.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephanie E.

Business Owner

I am a half French, half American, native Fench speaker. I was raised in Chantilly, France, a magical small town in the countryside, 40 km north of Paris. After obtaining my Baccalaureate, in France, I decided to take my father’s offer to come attend Southern Methodist University in Dallas and try «the American way of life.» I was able to perfect my English and also decided to further my study of other foreign languages as I obtained a B. A in Foreign languages and literature.

I have been very fortunate to live, work, study and vacation in many places around the world. Being the product of two very different cultures I have always had a natural desire to be open to all cultures and all people. I thrive to help others to have that same kind of awareness and respect for other cultures. Working with foreign languages and cultures is the most natural choice for me and I am grateful to be able to share my passion as a career.
