DT Security moved to the Austin area in 2014. The owner, Danny Tsivkin, has over 12 years experience in helping people protect what they value most. We are very excited to grow with this wonderful community!

I have worked with security systems for over 12 years and am ready to bring my experience to help you make the most informed and affordable decision. All of our representatives and technicians are fully background checked thru the Texas Department of Public Safety, insured, and all carry ID cards. All I can say is wow. This was my first alarm experience and Danny was great. We had multiple companies come to our new house doing their sales pitch, but it was only Danny that had a fireworks like presentation with a heart. If you’re reading this and need an alarm then go with Danny at DT security you won’t regret it.
*Update on review. Added some last minute upgrades and Danny is still taking care of us. He is always available and answers all my questions. A car was broken into recently in our neighborhood and I can’t tell you the peace of mind he has provided for us. It’s made all the difference in the world for us. Thank you Danny!

We had a great experience with DT Security. As a first time homeowner, I was bombarded with multiple companies wanting to earn my business. Out of all the people I dealt with, Danny was the most proactive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He not only gave us a great deal, but made it really easy for us to understand the benefits of going with ADT. Our installation was scheduled for a couple days after we signed the contract. Our house came prewired with a different alarm system, and ADT had to install new equipment. Our technician did a great job making sure there were no exposed wires and was able to complete installation in just a few hours. Overall, we are very pleased with Danny and DT security.

As first-​time homebuyers, we were overwhelmed by all the expenses needed from the get go, especially the ones we would be making for security. We were bombarded with offers and pressured by many salesman to make the «right choice» and pick their company. Just as we were about to give up, we met Danny with DT Security. He made the entire experience practically painless. He was super helpful, and no one could beat his deal! We are really glad we decided to go with DT Security because 1.) we went with someone local, which is important to us, and 2.) we feel absolutely safe in our new home. I also know I can contact Danny with any questions or concerns I may have, and he will gladly help us. If you’re in Pflugerville, you should go with DT Security. These guys did an awesome job. Danny, the owner was very quick in his response to any questions I had. He offered us a really good deal on the alarm system. The technician showed up early and made sure that my wife and I had a thorough understanding of the system. All together I would recommend these guys if you need a security system installed.

Our experience with DT Security couldn’t have been any better!
Being recent movers into a new development, we were bombarded by many security companies. Most of them were extremely pushy, just wanting to make the sale. Not the case with Danny. He is much more personable, very professional and knowledgable, honest, and NEVER pushy. We felt very comfortable with Danny, so we gladly gave him our business. Once our system was installed, he followed-​up the next day with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied. He’s also made himself readily available to us, with any questions or concerns. We’re extremely happy.
NEVER call ADT directly, ALWAYS call Danny first.

This is a two part review. Because we made a two part agreement with Danny. At this time I am reviewing the first part of the agreement. Being a new home owner, I thought it would be a few months before we could afford a security system. I thought we had to pay a large upfront amount and pay for equipment upfront. Not the case with Danny. We moved in on the 14th of the month and by the 16th of that same month we had a fully operational system for a minimum upfront amount. Things he guaranteed, that I give five stars.

* Minimum up front money
* Additional equipment added for free
* Installation completed within a week from signing contract
* Installer was professional, knowledgeable, respectful of or home and explained system to us (I did not feel rushed)
* Danny answered question days after the installation was completed and has been available to us thus far
We were offered some incentives for using Danny’s company to start up our ADT system. That is part two of our agreement. I will conducted another review once that part is completed.

DT Security was very efficient! When the owner of the company (Danny) arrived to our house, which is in a new development, he was very professional and was able to give us a quick but very informative breakdown of what his company could offer our family for security. Danny did not apply any pressure towards us to go with ADT or his company. However, due to his level of patience, knowledge, and service, we did not have any need to postpone our search for a security system. My husband and I signed up with him on the spot! Danny provides consumers with information and service (he visited us after our system was installed and provided us with his cell phone number that he actually answered one evening). I would recommend anyone who is in the Austin area to contact Danny because he and his team are very efficient and professional! I really stand behind companies that do what they say they are going to do and that has been our experience with DT Security.

Our experience with Danny and DT Security was wonderful! Shortly after we moved in, Danny stopped by to tell us about himself and the company. We used ADT in our previous home so figured we would stick with them. Danny was extremely helpful and thorough making sure he answered any questions we had and even checked back in to make sure everything went okay after the install (we had a slight hiccup due to the way our house was set up). We highly recommend DT Security, Danny and the entire team!

This was our very first security install. Danny and his team were professional from start to finish. No question was too small and all our concerns were addressed. By the time the install was complete, I felt confident in using it and I also had the huge peace of mind that having a security system offers. Customer service support is also fantastic. Just move into our brand new home in Round Rock. As is typical with new developments, we were bombarded with flyers, cards and salesman!!! But, I decided to give Danny and DT Security a call. Danny explained everything before he left and even called after the installation.
Ben, the installer, was also great and showed me how to use the system and made sure I was satisfy with the system before leaving.
Will reccomend this guys for your security needs!!!

Our experience with DT security couldn’t have been much better. Danny was meticulous about explaining to the entire process and all of the options, and basically ensuring that all of our questions were answered. Due to the wiring in our house, our installation was not as straightforward as usual, but Danny’s technician, Ben was able to get everything working perfectly, and he did a great job explaining how to use the system, which is actually very easy to use. If I had to think about any part of the process that wasn’t top-​notch, I’d be at a loss, as this was truly a great experience, and I’d highly recommend DT Security to anyone looking to put an security system in their home.

We moved to our new home and this is our first home and first security systems so we had lot of questions. Danny was great in explaining all the details of the security needed for our new home. He was patient with all our questions. I called him couple of times with different questions before deciding on this security system and he answered all my queries very patiently. He then scheduled for installation as per our availability. The installer came and installed the whole system very professionally and within the allocated time. Installation work was very clean and tested thoroughly. Installer explained us whole system very nicely and gave demo of everything.
Danny followed up on how the install went and if we have any more queries on system. So best part is in case of any queries or issues we don’t have to dial 800 number. We can directly call Danny and he is always available.
Overall top class service. I would recommend DT security very highly to anybody looking for home security options.

I just had Danny and his team connect and add to my security system. Based on the reviews here I gave Danny a call, he came out the next day and gave me all the information. There was no pressure to buy and no hard sell when I wanted to talk everything over with my wife. I got the Ok and called Danny the next day. He came back over to go over the paperwork and we scheduled the install. In addition to what I already have, Danny threw in a break sensor and one camera, as well as refunded my install charge the next week as part of his special. His installer, Ben, came out at my earliest availability and hooked it all up. It’s a really great service and I think I’m getting my monies worth. You can find monitoring cheaper than ADT but when you look at all the services you get, there is no competition. I think I may add a camera, so I’ll be calling Danny again soon. You should too.

We recently relocated to the Round Rock area from Virginia. We have been customers of ADT for years, and had every intention of continuing once we moved. Danny (the owner of DT Security) showed up at our door just a couple days after we moved in (our neighborhood is brand new and still under construction, so lots of vendors stop by to see if we need any services). Danny was so friendly, honest and straight forward. Absolutely no pressure. I was simultaneously receiving phone calls, emails and even text messages from an ADT rep in Virginia, who was trying to get me to «resign» through him. High pressure salesman are a pet peeve of mine, so I really appreciated Danny all the more! Obviously, I ended up going with Danny at DT Security. He was thorough, detail oriented, easily accessible (he even gives you his cell phone number!) and very professional. He had our alarm installed quickly, and called to follow up to see if we were satisfied or had any other questions. If you’re on the fence about choosing a security company, I highly recommend DT Security!

He was patient with all our questions, explained pros and cons of various services offered by ADT and after discussing with him we made a decision on the service most apt for our home. He then got an installer in the home as soon as possible (within the next 2 business days). The installer came and installed the whole system very professionally and within the allocated time.

With this being my first security system, Danny took his time to go over all of the details and answer any questions I had. Danny showed up at the door on moving day and offered his services. He said I know you’re busy, here’s my card when would be a GOOD time to come back? We set up an appointment on a Saturday — showed up, right on time and gave his presentation. Very professional, to the point, no fancy stories just the facts. We really appreciated that, considering how busy we were. He answered all our questions, our installer showed up early on installation day and everything went smoothly. He also has helped us several times since then, being new to security systems. I highly recommend DT Security.

The owner of the company, Danny, is very knowledgeable about the ADT system and is diligent about making sure you understand how it works and how to use it. He’s always available to answer any questions, should you not understand something. He’s easy to work with and does not pressure you into anything. The guys that install the system were very professional and gave detailed instructions on how to operate everything once it was installed. We recently moved from out of state and Danny came a-​calling. Danny is personable, relaxed, no high pressure, a very good representative of his business. He quickly and easily explained the program and ADT services. As we were looking for a security company, the program Danny offered very nicely fit the bill. When we signed up for monitoring services, Danny again was very personable and efficient, explained everything well and was sure to ensure I understood everything. when the technician came to the house, John, he was friendly, considerate, efficient and did a great job of explaining the system and the keypad. He did a great job of cleaning up after himself after the installation. I highly recommend DT Security.
