Craving Vapor

The guys here are knowledgeable and polite to a vaping newbie like myself. Not pretentious/​douchey.
They have a wide selection of juices and the staff knows all about the companies they carry. They will fix your vape if you bring it in and it’s fixable. They will let you try whatever you want on the menu, so you know you’ll like what you get.
One thing I dig is the rewards program — every time you purchase something, you swipe your rewards card. Once you get to a certain number of points you get either a house or premium juice for free.
I enjoy going in here, and I’ll continue to support this business.

I agree with the other posts that this place employs very rude staff. I went to get some juice for a friend who vapes as a Christmas present. I don’t know very much about vaping myself, and was hoping to learn more about the different styles of juice in order to get a great gift.
I walk in and there’s three employees working (talking to each other). A woman (didn’t catch a name) begrudgingly detaches herself from the group to come over to «help» us. I ask if she has recommendations for someone who is looking for a present. She did give me a few ideas, but the whole interaction was really unpleasant and uncomfortable. She was condescending, cold, and generally unfriendly. I won’t be going back and I would advise you not to go here as well.
The place is nothing special and you won’t get any kind of worthwhile assistance. Next time I will order online or go to another shop. However, if you know what you want and don’t need any questions answered you may get by fine here.

I felt like I was interrupting the guys who were there from talking and watching tv. The employee (John) acted as if it bothered him to help me find a new flavor. I just got the feeling that it was a big inconvenience to help me. The employee never smiled or engaged with much conversation at all. He was a complete dud!
I won’t go back because there’s another store just down the street that was very helpful and the employees there actually smiled!

This business stole from my husband and I. I dropped off a box for a vapor cigarette that needed a repair under this business’s lifetime warranty about 9 business days ago. Upon getting this box back we found that the batteries we had purchased for it that were in it when it was dropped off were no longer there. When asked about it they said they couldn’t do anything about it other than offer to sale more batteries at a discounted rate. I explained that there were batteries in it when we dropped it off and should be leaving with batteries. I did not receive any documentation upon dropping off the product only was told to fill out an online form which just asked for contact information– which I did. The person at the shop then said I wasn’t supposed to drop this product off with batteries and I explained to him that the girl who took the box opened it, saw the batteries, left them there, said nothing about removing them and took the box and told me that was it. I asked him how I was supposed to kno this? To which he responded «common sense.» He refused to replace the stolen batteries and when I asked for someone else to talk or where to try to file a complaint to which he told me to «figure it out», I asked for an owner or his name, he refused to give me any information and when I kept trying to press the issue he starting to yell and scream at me to get out. I felt very threatened and scared and left. I just want the batteries for the box back or replaced, that’s all I asked him for.

Solid vape shop offering some solid deals. I went here because my IPV 3Li was just getting to feel too bulky for my liking. I also have no use for 200W output. So, I decided to stop by here to pick up a Kangertech KBox Nano. Very compact, solid design, uses an external battery that you can charge and vape at the same time. *Only* goes up to 50W, but after 3 years of vaping, I still see no need why anyone would need to go much higher than that. Anyway, John sold the KBox Nano with a 3ml tank for 65 bucks, and threw in a free 30ml bottle of juice.
The interior is very classy, with plenty of open space and couches for lounging. They have a great selection of juices and equipment. The customer service was very satisfying. I typically go to Vapor Project up on 620, but this Craving Vapor is much closer to where I live now. I’ll be coming back.

Very friendly staff, I bought an itaste battery a while back, I thought I had a tank at home but I didn’t so I took the battery in to show them and to find out what tank I could use for it. They were nice enough to look and the Sweet Fog juice is delicious tasting. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate this place!

When I walked in and confessed my newbie level, Cory gave me an excellent explanation of vapor in a nutshell, and answered all my questions with great detail and support. I was expecting that this level of service would mean a highly marked up product, but that was not the case. He gave his recommendation for the low, mid, and high level product, and all were well priced. With this place being large, clean, comfortable, and in a high price real estate area; I was simply blown away. Trevor chimed in about a special cash deal, and some new inventory that was not registered in the computer system. I was sold not only the product, but the gentlemen who were very charismatic. I left feeing like I wanted to come back again soon because of how welcoming it was for me. I may check out some other vape stores, but I will bring all my business back to craving vapor. They earned it. Thanks!

Great service and very knowledgeable. I’ve smoked cigarettes for almost 25 years and I can finally say with assurance… I am done. Phillip Morris just shed a tear. It’s all about the device and these guys know their stuff. Ask for Ian or Jason W. :)

I was super excited to visit this shop. I’ve had a hexohm for a few months and I live out of state, so when I came to visit Austin, I had to add this to my list of to dos while I was there. I was welcomed to the store upon entry, and assisted by staff members with juice tasting, as well as answering my questions. It’s a large space, with a foose ball table and couches. They offer a small serve yourself coffee area and some water for guests. I will definitely be returning again before I head back home. They’ve done a great job with this place.

The owner, Joe actually reached out and got in touch with me soon after I posted this review to help identify the employees that were there that day. He profusely apologized and said he would handle the situation. Since Joe sincerely cares about his business and how his customers are treated, we’ve decided to give the place another try. It meant a lot to me that he tracked me down and messaged me.
We went back last week and PJ and the chick with all the tattoos were working. They were very friendly and personable. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Will definitely be back.

A few months after my first review and I am even more satisfied with this shop.
The employees are so insanely helpful and friendly. The girls and even some of the guys play with my one year old daughter.
We have two shops near our house at 2222 and McNeil and we would rather make the drive to Craving not only for the insane selection of juices but these guys and gals are like a part of our family now! Thank you so much guys!

Creator of the HEXohm V2 mod. Excellent juice selection of premium juice lines. Best customer service I’ve experienced while in Texas thus far.

I’ve gone to CV a few times and have bought a handful of things, juice, mini pro tank, drip tip and a hex ohm box mod which is my favorite mod thus far, but the customer service leaves much to be desired, you get a vibe like you’re in their way, which gives you a rushed feeling. For newbies they aren’t very helpful at all, and make sure you check the online pricing, because it seems to change when you’re in there I guess you have to pay those extra 5 – 10 bucks if you don’t do the research. The store is nice and they have nice stuff, but customer service is what keeps people coming back.

The employees were pretty apathetic about my needs. As a beginning vaper, with an intermediate mod, I had some questions. They seemed annoyed every time I asked them something.
Their prices are a little above average, probably because they have a massive amount of floor space, with relatively few products.
Their selection of flavors is very limited. They didn’t even have a basic strong cinnamon juice.
Overall, I’m pretty disappointed. I won’t be coming back. I’d recommend Phoenix Vapors on Anderson

I’m not sure who was working when this bad service happened that I see in reviews, but I had a great time here. The staff answered every question I had, hooked me up with juice to my specifications, and even tried to find screws for my atty that I didn’t even buy there.
Definitely can’t wait to be back.

Came to this place today at the behest of my girlfriend, but I was impressed with the level of seriousness. I’ve visited most of the vapor stores in North Austin that don’t just sell eCigs and fluids as a one-​off, and even though I haven’t tried Craving’s flavors, the lady loves their Lemon Cloud Rat and their attitude towards their products is as impressive as anywhere I’ve been. The advice I get from other retailers is pretty mild. Even my flavor source of choice, Flavor Vapor, tends to offer pretty lackluster advice — uncertain about some recommendations, let the customer make up their own mind.
This place has serious chemistry on their brain, and mixed up a special blend of the lady gal’s signature scent to match the system she’s smoking it in rather than the hardcore vaper’s usual drip tip. If I ever wanna make huge clouds out of a drip unit, I’ll be coming back to see what they have to tell me.

What can I say about this place. I was only in there for 5 minutes and they were completely rude. The guy that was «helping» us was was pretty much useless along with the other employees. I told them what flavor I prefer and they gave me one sample that I kinda liked but while I was tasting it the three employees that were behind the counter were dripping and blowing huge clouds in my direction. It really screwed up the whole tasting. And then when the one guy that was helping me ask one of the other guys that worked there what they recommended and the other guy just looked at him and mumbled and I dunno.
Thankfully I don’t live here so I don’t have to deal with a place like that.

The service here was okay but the juice I received seemed like it was missing the nicotine. While I can’t prove that, it lacked any throat hit and I kept craving more until I switched to another juice from another store.
They have a decent selection and are the only shop in that area, If in a pinch the juices not mixed in house are a safe bet.
