Great food and service,. what more can one ask for! We used the Happy Hour time to order just off the Appetizer menu, as if it was our private Tapas Bar. We shared an order each of their house soup, the crab cake, the short-​rib sliders, and fried cheese balls and finally an order of the Hot Mess dessert. Came home stuffed and happy!

This is place is THE hidden gem of the Domain. I walked in thinking it was an upscale dessert lounge, and was so happy to find it was SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT.
We started out with their Truffled Deviled eggs, which were DEVINE!
For the main course I had their Bistro Steak and Hash, which had the MOST AMAZING sauce made of Roasted Portobellos and Balsamic Vinaigrette that covered a roasted ‘squash hash.’ I’m not even a big fan of squash, but I would eat that sauce on ANYTHING! Everything about their menu screams originality and true talent.
Perhaps the most surprising and definitely the best part of the night was when the Chef, Brett Sturges, came out to our table after our (AMAZING) waitress told him how much we loved the food. It doesn’t stop there though – after he spent 10 minutes talking with us (in the middle of a dinner rush!) he gave us a printed copy of his Portobello Mushroom vinaigrette !!! We were literally dumbfounded. He is the true definition of a chef! As long as he keeps working here, I will be coming back! I mean that literally, as I will be going back tomorrow to try their brunch :)

I went with my parents close to closing time. They have a reverse happy hour. The service was great! Almost too friendly. We ordered four dishes. The crab cake was my favorite. The cakeballs are a must have! Even if you don’t have room for dessert, take a few Togo. (What I had to do). You won’t regret it. The cake is moist! I’ll be back for more.

Had a wonderful meal. The bacon wrapped pork tenderloin was the best I have had. The pears in the hash accompanyment were a good touch. The lamb chops were excellent, but the serving small. Try the peach cobbler.
Vince was our waiter and did an excellent job. He gave excellent service, was very personable and knew the menu and it’s preparation well.

This place is definitely a place to have brunch. It was clearly awesome food. The sweet Sriracha potatoes are amazing.

We were able to come here during their happy hour and got 2 good seats at the bar. It was very chilly outside and as soon as you walked through the door it was nice and toasty inside. My hubby ordered a beer and me, of course, the candy girl! It had cotton candy vodka, cotton candy and some champagne. Very tasty. I also added the grilled cheese with tomato bisque and smash fries. Holy Hell! The grilled cheese and tomato bisque was amammmmmazing. So good I had to come home and try to recreate. It was also amazing that it was only $ 4 during happy hour. I thought the rose gold tin cans that the cake balls came in was too cute so I went and ordered the half dozen. We did a mix and they were ok. I don’t think I am huge cake ball person so don’t take my thoughts of them to heart. The only one I could have eaten 10 of was the lemon one. Other than that the plaze was cozy and the bartenders were all really nice.

We went here for Sunday brunch with a group of 10, 4 of which were celebrating birthdays. No one in the group had been before and we weren’t sure what to expect. The entire group upon leaving said they’d be back they were so impressed.
Let’s start with the mimosas. $ 10 for a bottle of bubbly and 3 juices of your choice, strawberry basil and blueberry seemed to be favs. One member of the group ordered a cocktail with a frozen flower in it. She said it was delicious but it was almost too pretty to drink.
As for entrees I had the chicken with biscuits and gravy and it was delicious but if you don’t like sweet wouldn’t recommend as it had syrup on the chicken. One of our party had crème brulé French toast and he said it was an orgasm in his mouth!
Before dessert the chef came out to greet us and offer the birthday girls dessert. We asked him to pick and he brought out an assortment of cake balls and a hot mess. The cake balls were good but the hot mess could make me happily gain 100 lbs.
In summary the waiter was attentive, the drinks were dangerous, food was great and our somewhat inappropriate group felt very welcomed. Will definetly be back!

This place is a like a little hidden gem for late night happy hour. All appetizers are half price from 9 – 11 on Fri and Sat nights. They also have some drink specials and a full bar. I think we have tried all the appetizers and they are all delicious. My favorites are the grilled cheese fingers with tomato bisque and the beef short rib sliders. The cheese is amazing and the bread has a great crunch and texture. The tomato bisque is on point as well. The short rib sliders are tender and juicy.
I could eat about 20 of these.
If you go, ask for Richard. He is one of the servers there and does a great job. He’s very personable, funny, and entertaining. He is also very attentive and his service is on point.
The environment here is quiet. It is very different than Kona Grill, not to say the Kona Grill environment is bad, just a totally different vibe. I would say this would be a great place to come to unwind with friends or a date with the wife or girlfriend.

I’ve never had anything but amazing experience here! Brunch is the best on Sundays. Garrett and Ricardo blow my applesauce mind :) i can do nothing but recommend coming in and tasting everything.

I stopped in here with a friend for dinner and dessert one evening and left with a smile on my face! To our surprise it was happy hour all night! yes please! There is a set happy hour menu with cocktails and appetizers. My friend and I decided to just order from the happy hour menu. I started with the Candy Girl Cocktail, which was less sweet than I expected. I loved the rock candy garnishment on the side! We ordered the fried goat cheese balls, Ahi tuna sliders, crab cake and the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. The crab cake was probably my favorite. I know the grilled cheese and tomato bisque wasn’t anything fancy, but it was so delicious and totally hit the spot for me.
Now on to dessert … OMG there were so many delicious things to choose from! I couldn’t just get one cake ball so I ordered 2 — lemon and vanilla! I could have eaten at least 4 more of those things, but somehow I showed some willpower. Those things were little balls of perfection! I am looking forward to making my way through all the flavors for sure!
FYI Happy hour is the way to go here in my opinion …

Friendly staff that greets you as soon as you step in.
Very cozy place, wish it was just a tad more intimate but it’s all good. We were seated right away. I could see all the cake balls on display.
We were here only for dessert. We ordered a six pack (Red Velvet, Vanilla, German Chocolate, Lemon Drop, Salted Caramel and Chocolate). The portion size is just right and they were all moist. The only one I didn’t care for which would have been my favorite was the Lemon Drop. I expected it to have more acidity and tang. The hot chocolate and mocha drinks were on point and complemented the cake balls.
I’ll be back for lunch and dinner!

The chicken fried chicken and steak & potatoes were delicious! The truffled deviled eggs were excellent. Cake balls are out of this world good! We will definitely come back here!

This is my second visit here. The first time was for brunch, I don’t recall much from that time, but nothing bad because I would remember if it was bad.
Came here last night for HH around 8pm. HH ALL NIGHT. Half off apps and $ 6 cocktails and wine (limited menu).
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We ordered 4 apps:
— truffle deviled eggs– just ok, your basic deviled egg taste
–black angus steak sliders– two of them with parmesan fries, I like that the buns were toasted and had a small crunch. The meat was perfect, and the fries were great tasting too.
–tuna taquitos– Two seared sliced tuna with a spicy salsa in a crunchy taco shell. Tasted fresh and delicious. Loved the kick with spicy sriracha sauce.
–Maryland crab cake– one of them, kinda small. Lots of crab which is surprising. Was not fried if I remember correctly.
Our server did a great job!

Copper Restaurant & Dessert Lounge has a good thing going on.
Great bar, delicious home made desserts, apps & entrees to boot. Happy Hour is the way to go and is offered multiple times during the week: Monday — Friday from 5−7pm, Monday & Tuesday (ALL NIGHT!) and reverse HH on Thursday & Friday from 9pm-​11pm. They have a set HH menu with 5 or 6 drinks (try the jam jar margarita) and apps (tuna sliders, ftw).
The serving sizes are certainly smaller during HH, so you will still pay $ 7 for 1 crab cake… vs the non HH price of $ 14 for two crab cakes, so there’s that. The food was delicious, the service was on point, the décor is very enjoyable.
Cake balls, anyone? They have bunches of them. I enjoyed the mexican chocolate the most! Tiramisu, birthday cake, oreo and lemon — take your pick, they were all tasty and moist.
On the menu, bananas foster crème brûlée, 6 layer cake, peanut butter chocolate mousse, red velvet cheesecake… maybe a trio of 3 (’cause you can do that).
Try the HH but save me a table!

Not going to lie… when we walked in and saw that Copper was a shared space with Austin cake ball we got a little nervous about their food. That being said, we were beyond surprised at the quality of the food. We went for their reverse happy hour (9-​close on Friday night) because appetizers are half off and they have some solid drink specials.
We basically ordered one of everything off their appetizer menu. Everything was great. From the fried goat cheese balls, to the seared ahi tuna taquitos, to the truffled devil eggs, to the sliders, nothing disappointed. I would order every dish again in a heart beat. Did I mention they are half off and thy have a reverse happy hour? You cannot beat that on a Friday night.
They also have bubble, white wine and red whine flights on their happy hour menu. Each flight is 12 $ but are totally worth. They give you quality wine and each glass is half full. You for sure get your bang for your buck.
We sat the bar and the bartender that night (apologies I cannot remember your name) was fantastic. We didn’t order any cocktails but all of them looked great. He was moving full speed all night and we never felt neglected once.
We don’t make it up to the domain often (since it is soo damn north) but we’ll be making a point of going again.
We also picked up some Austin Cake Balls on our way out. Not a bad way to end a fantastic dinner.

The food was pretty good! I had the grilled cheese with a side of asparagus. My companion had some crab cakes which he said was delicious. In addition to that, I had a cucumber martini which was refreshing.
What didn’t I like about this place? Well we tried the cake balls/​pops, they weren’t that great. When I spend that much on something so easy to make I expect them to taste good. You can buy cake balls at HEB, 6 for about $ 5 and they are a lot better than the 1 ball for $ 2.95. Still, I recommend eating here, and maybe their regular dessert is good. Will give it a try one day if I make it back to the domain.

I dropped by on a rainy day with my wife. I was blown away with the fantastic service. We tried the appetizers and a couple of drinks that our server recommended. So incredibly good! Our entrees had me practically speaking in tongues! Incredible!
The food was so good that I had to try dessert, and even after dessert… we ordered «a baker’s dozen» of cake balls to go just so we could try each of the 13 flavors!
Go! You will absolutely love it!

Staff is friendly and extremely attentive. Our waiter, Richard «Waco» was hilarious and great interacting with our children. He even drew faces on their desserts. The mimosa option for Sunday brunch includes a bottle of champagne and juices like strawberry basil, honey watermelon, and cantaloupe grapefruit. It was really fun to make our own concoctions. It’s only $ 10 and made 6 drinks! The fried goat cheese balls tasted sooooo good, and the children loved the edible orchid on the plate. Carrot cake pancakes were excellent. The children cleaned their plates. The Chesapeake Benedict was absolutely incredible. The wagyu & eggs were cooked perfectly. The dessert trio of bananas foster crème brûlée (torched at the table), hot mess molten lava cake, and Kahlua cake were all delicious. The children loved the cake balls. The plating is aesthetically stellar & very artistic. The prices are well below what they could be for the quality. This establishment is not only delicious but a full scale experience not to be missed in Austin.
Literally my only con would be the messy bathroom. The floor is coming up because it was not properly clear coated /​sealed. It’s otherwise beautiful here.

It’s a small place — so you should make a reservation if you’re a larger party, although it definitely wasn’t too busy at noon. As an aside, almost everyone eating here had small children (under 2 yrs). It’s really not cool to be drinking off a Rainey St hangover and having ‘adult’ talk while someone’s infant is screaming 2 tables over. Please go to IHOP with that nonsense; brunch is an adult meal.
The menu is a little limited compared to other brunch spots nearby. Pretty much every breakfast entrée comes with hollandaise sauce, which is fine for people who like hollandaise sauce… and not so great for those who don’t. Also, what is up with either 60 second eggs or eggs benedict? Why can’t a girl just get her steak with scrambled eggs and no liquid heart-​attack sauce? I guess to speed up the misery of all those parents with small children hoping for a medical reprieve.
I ended up opting for the Hill Country Waldorf Chicken Salad, which was delicious, although pricey for $ 13. The real gem here is the mimosa special — $ 10 for a bottle of champagne and 3 different juices. Makes up for my pricey salad and lack of healthier breakfast options. Downside yet again — they were out of the Strawberry Basil which by far sounded like one of the more interesting juices to mix with bubbly. Dessert is likely one of the reasons most people come here as it’s part bakery, yet you may find that to be bit of a letdown. No, I do not want to pay $ 3 for a cake ball the diameter of a quarter when I could get 3 cake balls at HEB for the same price.
Unless my friends want to eat here again, I found no reason to go back of my own volition.

My happy hour go –to spot! The cucumber kickback is awesome and their half price apps are great! My son loves their sprinkle cake ball. Of the times I’ve been, its not toooo crowded. The last time I went, service was quite slow at the beginning but later it was good. I wasn’t too fond I had to wait for so long and was thirsty… But the server was friendly and respectful. That didn’t effect me too bad. There’s only one restroom and it seems to always be occupied so I make sure I go before dining in…
