Austin Baby Guru offers premier support to growing families.

We provide specialized support for newborns and their parents through daytime and overnight postpartum care.

We also offer AHA CPR classes for both parents and professionals.

Our most popular classes is the award winning Infant Safety Class.

This class covers CPR and choking for infants up to a year old in addition to safe sleep/​SIDs reduction, car seat safety, and baby proofing.

We also offer Newborn care as well as Breastfeeding classes.

Classes are offered several times a month at various locations in central Austin and Round Rock.

Classes can also be taught at your location.

History

Established in 2004.

I have been doing postpartum care for families since 2004. (started through Supporting Mom)

I have extensive experience working with newborns and have worked to educate myself about infant sleep patterns and the things that can interrupt with their (and the whole family’s!) sleep.

I have been certified in CPR since I was a teen and started teaching CPR in 2010.

I am a mom to four great kids. I have learned so much from them. I trained as both a birth and postpartum doula. I have received training from the TX. health dept. in breastfeeding support and maintain on-​going education on infant sleep. I worked as a birth doula for many years which lead to my working as a postpartum doula. I realized along the way that I am really good at working overnights. I enjoy it and I am also good at helping families set a good sleep environment for their babies.

I have been teaching CPR for several years. This year, I decided to combine my experience working with infants and the CPR skills into a great new offering for families… the Infant Safety class. these have gotten great reviews from the parents I work with.
