The bossman that runs the place was excellent. He charged us less than half what Les Schwab quoted me (and the tires would not have even matched). Muh (Muhammad) found the perfect matches to my other two tires at a fraction of what his competitors charged. Installation and Balance included! He ordered them special with no deposit and called the next day when they arrived.
These are directional tires on directional rims to top it off. Muh went above and beyond remounting and balancing all FOUR tires (I only bought 2) to make sure everything was done right!
Why not five stars? The old man on the machine was confused and despite trying to explain the directions he didn’t want to be told what to do by a girl. Muh backed us up and we got them done right!!!

We got a flat tire on a Sunday afternoon driving back from Tahoe, we found that this place was the only open tire shop around.
We called and they gave a quote ($ 40 for a used BMW X5 tire, installation included!)
We were in and out of the shop in 20 minutes. They were friendly, efficient, affordable — and bonus points for being open on a Sunday!

I have been here a few times and have had multiple bad experiences. First, their prices are not set and they will charge whatever they feel like they can get you for. $ 20 for a flat one day, $ 10 the next. Same with balances, rotations, etc. This has always bothered me, but I just haggle and continued to go back. The last time I went, however, was for a valve stem replacement. The employee replaced it, then conspicuously put the tire into the back of my truck, closed the tailgate, and told me to go pay inside (a different amount than he previously quoted me). When I got home, and pulled the tire out of the back, there was a huge gouge in my tire at the bead where steel belt was even now showing. I immediately called them and they told me «well the tire was old so we won’t replace it for a $ 10 job (the valve stem repair). They used no lube to dismount the tire, were shady by not even telling me and trying to hide the evidence, and offered no help in resolving the problem. If they were BBB affiliated, I would file a complaint.

This was the WORST place! I took my car in for an alignment. The guys in the garage treated me like it was an inconvenience to work on my car and God forbid you ask them a question. When my car was done the guy told me if there were any problems don’t bring it back… WTH. When I got on the freeway the next day my steering wheel vibrated like I never experienced before and my car was pulling really hard to the left… didn’t have that problem before. I decided to take it to SpeeDee Oil and when they looked at it looked they said it looked like it hadn’t been aligned. They asked to see the paper that showed what the alignment was before they did it and then after. I told them they didn’t give me one. So SpeeDee only charged me half because they felt bad that Best American Tire scammed me. When I got my car back they gave me the paper that showed pre and post alignment. I took my car on the freeway and it was such a smooth ride. The car didn’t pull at all in one direction or another. Thank God for SpeeDee. Run don’t walk away from Best American Tire unless you want to be treated like crap and pay for work that was never done.

Went to get an alignment job. Was told I needed to replace my ball joints in order for it to be done because I wanted a second opinion from my dad. When I got my invoice there was no note about the ball joint and I knew that it was a bad upsell. Not to mention the guy was irritated that I told him I just wanted him to try to do the best he could and not replace the ball joints.

We had a terrible experience here. The alignment job was done so poorly that our tires were ruined after a few months. Even the BBB could not resolve this matter for us, and I had to ask my credit card company for a refund.

None better than Jim and the boys. Jim will bend over backwards with service. Very knowledgeable and will give you plenty of options. I highly recommend Jim!

Nice guys and super fast. They also have the best days/​hours of any other shop in town. They saved our camping trip on July 4^th when our camper needed a new tire. I’ve purchase a few sets of tires since and just had a truck tire replaced. No complaints!

Ok place open on the 4^th but wish the one next door was open. Kinda overpriced for used tires if you could I would go to the one right next door on Cleveland ave. and SOMEHOW one week later i had a huge nail in the tire they had just replaced. it was just an ok experience
