These guys are still great! Pulled in with a problem and was helped right away. Solved my problem at a very reasonable price and sent me on my way promptly. Awesome service!

I used to think that the shop was OK until they pulled the whole scam of trying to replace all four tires on an all-​wheel-​drive vehicle. This is basically an old wives tale that says that if one tire gets damaged then the diameter of the new tire will be slightly larger because it has less wear and theoretically this diameter difference could create excessive wear on the car differential. This is definitely an old-​school way of thinking and has since proven to be not accurate. Given that the tires on this car had only about 3000 miles of wear on them, trying to upsell us on a brand-​new set of tires was just completely dishonest. Furthermore, the car we drive is not an active four-​wheel-​drive that stays constantly engaged, so it is entirely possible to put the rear tires on the front and put the new tire on the back because the differential in the rear is not working 99% of the time the car is being driven. I have fabricated an entirely custom four-​wheel-​drive from the frame up, so when I heard this nonsense I just told her to leave it was a scam. My wife went to this place because we bought our tires there and when she did not want to replace all four tires they rolled the tire back to her car and walked away. This bothers me a lot because they were unwilling to serve the customer when all we needed was one tire. I own a business and if I tried to pull this sort of dishonesty on my customers I would not be able to sleep at night. Normally I do not like to write negative reviews online and less it helps a consumer from making a bad mistake. Be careful if you come here.

I have been going to Tire Depot for years! I have bought rims and tires both and never once have I left unsatisfied. Ali (sp?) And Johnny are the best guys ever. They are honest and truly care about their customers. My single mother in law also goes there and they never try to take advantage of her.
Recently, I needed new tires and just out of curiosity I called around to get pricing from other shops. Not one could compete with the prices at Tire Depot. They have always honored any warranty without argument. It is seriously the best place to go.
I realize that it doesn’t look super nice like Les Schwab, but this is a small business who does it right! Another bonus is that while you wait, you can visit Serena over at Relax Reflexology in the same shopping center and get a foot massage! Win win for sure. You will not be disappointed getting your tires here!

This place is proof that you can’t judge a book by its cover. I’m a little prissy when it comes to brands and going with what I know so I almost didn’t stop. Had a flat tire about 5 miles before I hit Auburn. After AAA came and replaced my flat with a doughnut, I headed up to this spot to get a new tire. I hesitated at first. It doesn’t look like much from the road (it’s quite obvious there is no cozy seating area with little bottles of water) In 25 minutes I was in and out. They gave me options for my tire… from used to new with pros and cons of both options. No pressure. No talking me into one or the other. Pleasant, professional and fast.

I used this shop 2 times in a 2-​week period, bringing in two different cars. The first experience was fast, clean and cheap (two used tires) with no pressure to sell up for new tires. That brought me back when I bought another old car, and this time the same service standards were evident. I bought top-​of-​the-​line tires and paid a great price. Nice, simple shop.

I was passing by Auburn and had a blow out. Came by one of the bigger tire shops and turned out my short bus had an odd sized tires that had to be custom ordered. I couldn’t really wait a day and was suggested to try luck with these guys.
Limped here, but alas — no luck either. But while I was scratching my head and calling around without much success, an owner (I am guessing) called someone in Sacramento (half hour away) and found good used tires in the size I needed. Then he proceeded to go and pick those up, while lending me another car to do some shopping I needed.
I came back several hours later and the bus was ready to go. I got four good looking used tires, mounted and balanced, for a price of one new (I was quoted be the another shop).
This went above and beyond my wildest service expectations not to mention almost laughably small price.
I think this was the first auto service shop I tipped in.
