I’ve been to this club two or three times before. during my visit over the holidays, I stopped in late afternoon and would have say that I had the best time! The bartender was great! She kept the drinks coming! It’s always a good sign when you see those who must be «regulars» get along well with the bartender. Good drinks, good music. My fiancé likes this place too. said he would add this place to his list of good bars to visit in Cali.

This place is a main stay in Auburn! Nothing fancy but the drinks are good and there is an awesome jukebox so you can always play good music! And a pool table so fun to have by all!

Hm. I don’t even know where to begin with this s***hole of a bar. I feel like I’m in high school walking into that place. Only because a bar tender that seems to be working every time I’m there is catty, stuck up and for lack of a better phrase, a «hater». Unfortunately, we really don’t have very many options as far as night life is concerned in Auburn. The only plus side is the shots are a good pour and the prices are doable. Oh and Dezi another bar tender there is very nice and attentive.

Our first time coming here and the bartender was awesome! Drinks were great too! We tried another bar up the street and ended up coming back here. Much better service!

Without a doubt the best bar in Auburn! Potent drinks, great jukebox and pool tables. Always have a great time here.

Chilliest place in town, music ain’t loud, bartender is awesome. Come here every night no drama like Pistols and Cali club… is the safest bar in town.

Ok probably not a 5 star place but it gets undeserved bad reviews based on it’s old school décor. I go here several times a week to unwind. The bartenders are easy going and the owner is a total sweetheart. I have never witnessed a fight or even an argument here. It is an old school corner bar that is what you make of it!

We had a pretty good time here. Had a few beers, cranked the jukebox and played a lot of shuffleboard. The bartender was nice and we had No problems.

I sort of like the 160. There are a lot of very funny people here. If you’re in to people watching this is the place to go. There are always the regulers(the foul-mouthed punk rock guy, the dirty dradlock guy, that strange old bug-eyed hipster and his camera, the low-end floozy, the hemp necklace guy who keeps going out front to smoke green stuff, the hick, the overweight Mexican girl) The diversity of people here is really great and makes for a fun evening any evening of the week. Okay, so there’s a lot of botom of the bin types here, but they’re sort of charming in their own right. Right?

Yep, another dive bar. But I happen to love dive bars! This place is about half a step up from the California Club in Old Town Auburn. A bit prettier, a bit cleaner, a bit friendlier, a bit less scary.
The bartenders I’ve dealt with have always been friendly and the drinks are very reasonable priced. They have a couple pool tables, shuffleboard, a digital jukebox, and sometimes karaōke. There isn’t an outdoor area so most of the smokers congregate out front. Unlike the California Club, this place actually stays open late and is often the only place still open and serving at midnight. Clientele is typical bar patrons and range from young college kids, to people hanging out after work, and includes a few older members of society as well. Another place I would go again.

This place caters exclusively to Auburn’s lowest common denominator. There’s nothing hip or cool about this dive bar. Fights and stabbings are regular occurances here. And cops watch the parking lot closely for drunk drivers. This bars only redeeming qualities are it’s cheap drinks and the fact that there is never a cover charge.

ICK. A real dive doesn’t explain it. This is where the nasty of the nasty come for action. This is where fights are commonplace and STDs are cheaper than the drinks you’ll buy(actually, chances are some will be ready to meet you and drunk without even needing to buy a drink). Things may be different now, but lots of near(but under) 21 year olds went to act like apes. Also, if you get your tires changed across the street at Souza’s Tires, chances are(except from about 1 to 6am) there will be drunks of all ages coming and going at the 160. Pretty disgusting place(mainly the crowd that it attracts and what they do there in the bathroom, etc.) I have known not to go to this place since before I was ever 21 … Stay away, unless you’re looking to get wreckless, and\or run into other wreckless folks. This really is where to go once the drunkest of the drunk are passed out & you still want to keep going(not me though; ugh!).

A real dive, but in a good way(I think). It’s one of those bars that open up at 6 a.m. and they have customers ready for a drink. The 160 Club(located at 160 Cleveland Ave) has a few pool tables and a decent bar. I’ve been here on many occasions and have never run into any problems.(That’s more than I can say for Mo & Sluggo’s in Carson City where tables were overturned in a bar brawl when I stayed out a little later than usual. I was sure to make a hasty exit from that place and always left before 10 p.m.)
