Established in 1999.

I started cleaning carpets in June of 1993. It was meant to be a summer job. It has been 17 years and I am still going strong. I decided to start my business in 1999. I really enjoy being helpful around the house, your house that is. I feel a since of accomplishment when I am able to get a client out a sticky situation, remove a stain that is eye sore or just be part of your cleaning routine. I’ve been blessed to have such a loyal clients. Throughout the years I’ve build a small reputable business, and with your help I hope to continue to grow. I take pride in the work that I do, and most of clients can see that after the first experience with us. I want you to feel comfortable and completely reassured that this is the best cleaning that could possibly be done. Hello, My name Jorge Clara. I am the owner of JC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning. We are a family owned business. I have a wonderful wife who supports my every move and a beautiful little girl who motivates me to accomplish the impossible. I am striving to achieve the «American Dream». They are the reason why I work so hard to keep all my customers excited about getting their carpets cleaned. My family depends on me just like I depend on you.

I have been in the carpet cleaning business since 1993. I worked for a reputable carpet cleaning company for 6 years then decided to start

my own cleaning business. It has been a struggle but I’ve learned that nothing in life comes easy. I have worked hard to get to were I am, and I am seeing positive results.

I truly believe that this country is the land of opportunity and you are only limited to what you set your mind too.

I feel blessed to have such loyal clients and friends, who

welcome me into their homes.

Jorge and Justin, of JC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, just did an excellent job of cleaning our carpets, including applying a sealant. This is the third year they’ve taken care of our carpets, and we appreciate the care they take during the process and their friendly service. All of the pet stains have been removed, and the house smells great. I plan to have them clean our couches as soon as winter is over.

I have used JC Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery Cleaning twice now. Both times were to get rid of dog urine from 2 puppies we added to our family. Jorge and Justin are both so wonderful to work with, and they have restored my carpets to brand new. Yes, they are on the pricey end, but you get what you pay for! They use high grade chemicals and do an amazing job! I would highly recommend them.

I purchased my home in 2010 and called Jorge Clara (JC carpet cleaning).When he showed up I was on the verge of just recarpeting the whole house. Jorge looked over my home told me my carpets can be saved and recommended that I get a restoration and deep cleaning. Took no time at all and Jorge gave me tips on how to maintain the carpets and gave me a bottle of carpet cleaner. He saved me the thousands in having to get new carpets. This past weekend they came by and did my home once again and was greeted with friendly, professional service and my ten year old carpets still look and feel brand new. I highly recommend JC carpet cleaning and will be seeing them in 6 months :)

My carpets looked so beautiful that they almost looked new again. Truly, Jorge and Justin know what they are doing that’s for sure. My son’s dog did some of his BIG time business on my carpet. I tried all the usual carpet stain removers as well as buying a few more types, but I had no luck. In my family I’m the queen of getting stains out of everything, carpets, clothes, furniture, but not this time. I’m so glad I went on Unilocal and that there were reviews on this particular Carpet Cleaning Company. I always go by the reviews of other peeps that experienced companies before I waste my money. This review is 7 months late, but just wanted you all to know. I’m going to use them again before the holidays. They might be a little expensive, but the stains are gone forever. They don’t show up the next day after the carpet dries.

I just had Jorge out here to clean my 3 rooms and hallway. I’ve waited 2 years to get my carpet cleaned, so Jorge explained to me it would be better to have the super duper cleaning (can’t remember what he called it!). I had them do the extra carpet cleaning and it turned out great. These guys do a great job, and are very nice people too. They will check back with me in 6 – 8 months to see if I need them yet. Jorge and Justin are the two guys who run this business for carpet cleaning.
I hired JC Carpet Cleaning once for a rental property about 7 months ago but the result was not so great for $ 300.00 for a regular steam carpet cleaning. I compared their price with others later and figured out that these guys just charge too much for the same amount of work. They charge twice more than anyone else in the carpet cleaning business.
I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

This was the first time I had used JC’s Carpets to clean my white area rugs. Lars was very helpful and picked up and delivered my rugs in Manhattan Beach. He was very professional and handled my furniture with such care. They have done a wonderful job and I will continue to use them to clean my area rugs. Thank you very much for being so professional.

Wow! Amazing! I had JC Carpets clean my carpets a few months ago. They did such a great job I had them come back this week and clean my micro fabric sofa and tile floor. My sofa looks brand new! My floors are so clean, and they look the way they did when we put them in years ago. Jorge and his crew are very professional and honest. Great experience, and I highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue. We moved into our house in 2004 and although cleaning the carpets ourselves we had never had them professionally cleaned. With a house full of relatives due we decided to hire JC Carpet & Upholstery because of their great reviews and found out that all of the great reviews were definitely justified. We have two large Labrador retrievers so you can imagine how deep-​down the dirt can get in the carpets. We also had a very large stain in the hallway from a sick dog that I was sure they wouldn’t be able to get out. Well, they got every bit of dirt and every stain out and the house smelled wonderful when they were done (we had the long hallway and all three bedrooms cleaned). There was a little bit of a halo around the large stain a few days later but Justin had told us that might happen because the stain was so big and deep and had been there for awhile but that we should call him if it did. He came back out the same day I called him and fixed it right up. Carpets that hadn’t been professionally cleaned since 2004 looked almost like new. I can’t recommend this company enough!

I started using JC carpet for about 3 years a numerous occasions. I’ve had my a micro fiber couch I have in the loft of my home cleaned serval times and my carpets done on serval occasions also. JC carpet has always been thorough, professional, plus quick. I have had someone by the name of Justin do my carpets and couch most times and am never disappointed with any of the work JC has done in my home.

About my couch! I have had it done by other companies before. It had not always turned out and did not dry evenly and sometimes splotchy. If anyone has a micro fiber couch especially in a light color you may know even a water spill leaves a hideous stain on the couch. This couch has gone though some major Children’s play because it is in my loft area, the area my two boys frequent often. JC carpet had cleaned my couch on at least 3 – 4 occasions and always has left it looking like brand new. I get scotch guard yes it’s a bit more expensive but helps wiping off stains easier and keeps my couch looking clean longer.

Carpets…JC had cleaned both the carpets in my previous home which was a mid length textured carpet and my current home which is a shorter light cream color. Both always turn out looking awesome. When I first moved into my new home the movers dolly or someone’s shoes must have had some sort of black oil on them. I was mortified! Black oily mess all over brand new cream carpet. The horror! I called JC carpet because they had never disappointed before they came the next day and where able to salvage my carpet, save the day, and make it look new again. I have used them many times and would recommend them highly. With two boys and a dog they have been my couch and carpets life saver. 5 stars great service, quick and quality!

I called for hair dye stain removal on carpet. They advised they can’t do it and cautioned me about anyone who said they could. The dye won’t come out 100% and the color match will be off. He recommended I have the carpet patch removed and replaced with a new piece. You got my trust. Thanks for the tip.

When scheduling the appointment, Jorge was very professional, upbeat and helpful. When they came to clean my 11 month old couch, they arrived on time and were very nice. Over the phone however, they told me that it would be $ 16 per square foot, but neglected to say that it would cost $ 35 extra to use ‘an enzyme’ to get the urine smell out. I had said over the phone the sole reason I was calling them out was to get rid of the smell, therefore I was a little surprised when I saw $ 35 extra on the receipt. The smell is gone however! And the couch looks great. As it was my first time having my couch cleaned professionally, I cannot compare to anything, but we are happy with their work.

I recently hired JC Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning to clean the tile and grout in a tub enclosure shower. I was able to get an appointment for the next day, which was helpful as the shower doors had been removed and were to be replaced two days later. Jorge and his associate, Justin, came on the intervening day, on time, and did a very thorough job — waaay better than anything I would ever do (not to mention that they have specialized equipment for the job).
Then I inquired about cleaning a living room carpet. It is light beige, roughly 15 years old, and hadn’t ever been professionally cleaned. There were lots of little spots and one big stained area (from years of sitting with my shoes in the same place on the carpet). Jorge said they could do the job right then, so I asked him to do so. He thought the big stained area might not come completely clean, but it is now so light that nobody else will ever notice it. Overall, the carpet looks *so* much better; I’m really glad I had them clean it.
I would definitely hire Jorge any time I want tile, carpet, or upholstery professionally cleaned.

My carpets were in desperate need of cleaning and after renting one of those cleaners from the supermarket my carpets still looked sad. So I went here on Unilocal to look for a local carpet cleaner. Due to all the 5 star ratings I called Jorge for an appointment. From beginning to end Jorge and Justin were very professional and the service was first rate. I used JC Carpet Cleaning service due to the overwhelming positive reviews posted through Unilocal.I want to tell everyone, the service was amazing! They didn’t try to upsale any services. They were honest in telling me what I needed exactly! The end result was a pleasant experience, and clean fresh smelling carpet in one hour!!! They arrived on time, and they were very professional. AHHH-​mazing. I can’t even believe how great my carpets look. We’ve lived in our house for 6 years, and after 1 dog and 3 little boys, our carpets were in DESPERATE need of professional care. We were considering replacing the carpets altogether because we weren’t sure if they’d ever be the same. Jorge came in and worked MAGIC! He did such a thorough job, our carpets seriously look better than ever. We had a really bad multi-​color paint stain in our hallway that we had tried to get out multiple times with our home carpet steamer. Jorge was able to get the paint stains out, and completely restore the fabric. We will definitely be calling Jorge again for our next carpet cleaning!
