Sunport Shuttle

The male clerk who wears sunglasses on top of his head seemed irritated and highly annoyed when I asked about their fees, pick up location and heaven forbid, a receipt. I was told the wait time wouldn’t be long, as he was waiting on «one more» passenger.
Fast forward to 8 – 10 minutes later and he walked us (3 women) outside to the designated spot for pick up. About 3 minutes later, the van driver looked right at us and passed us by. It was as if we had to chase him down to get on the van! One of the ladies tried to clarify the pick up location with the driver, and he shrugged it off as a non issue. He wasn’t very interested in putting our bags in the back of the van and even less interested in collecting everyone’s hand written receipt for their destinations.
Everyone is buckled in and ready to go, but no. We’re waiting for 3 more people to wander over to the shuttle van. The driver was just as lackadaisical with the new passengers as well. Do yourself a huge favor and schedule shuttle transport with another company that appreciates your business.

HORRIBLE. The trip way to the hotel was okay. Although I later realized über would have been much cheaper. The guy at the airport suggested I get a round trip since my outbound flight was at 6am. I knew from hotel to the airport would only take 10 minutes. I asked to be picked up at 4:45am. He insisted that I should leave at 4am and so scheduled the shuttle to pick me up at 4am.
I woke up at 3am and got ready, came down exactly at 4am. To find out, no shuttle.
I called right away to check, the cab operator had told me the driver had just left so he should be here soon. RIGHT NOW ITS 4:36AM AND STILL NO SHUTTLE!!!
I called them again and the lady said she does not know where the shuttle is but there was one guest in the car? Nothing makes sense to me; its not like I was not at the lobby to be picked up at the scheduled time.

They may look cheaper but sneakily charge a $ 3 fee to pay with a card. Taxis don’t. It didn’t show up till after I added the top so a short ride to the airport which was going to be $ 16 for two ended up being $ 22.

Horrible, do not use! We prepaid and booked our return trip when the driver dropped us off at our hotel. Our flight got delayed and I called to switch our pick-​up time only to find out they didn’t have a record of our request. Thinking they had everything sorted out we went outside to wait for the shuttle that never showed up. We called and were told «that’s how it is», no apology. Luckily our hotel had a shuttle that was able to take us to the airport. Horrible customer service! This shuttle service should not be in business!

Our first trip to New Mexico was last July. We had reservations on the New Mexico Rail Runner to Santa Fe and had over an hour to kill before the bus ride to the station. My wife walked over to the shuttle counter and the guy told her there was lots to do around the station and it was safe.
Complete and total BS. Long walk from drop off to station. Station a haven for drunks, druggies, and né’er-do-wells. But at least a strong, strong cop presence! No where to go with luggage, no lockers in station. Just nursed our coffees and cursed the counter person for Sunport Shuttle. I’m tall and speak English — this would have been even sketchier if he sent foreign visitors.
Terrible, terrible people.

Staying at Hotel Albuquerque for a wedding, made reservations 24 hours in advance for a 6:30am pick up, shuttle never showed up. Front desk at hotel stated they have had numerous problems with them, multiple reservation issues… never showing, late, etc. Advice, book a cab, it’s only $ 10 more (including tip) and bottom line, when your trying to make a flight, you want reliability.

Not good guys. We booked our return trip at the airport when we arrived. Chick at the counter couldn’t be less helpful if she tried– bad attitude. Called the next to change the pick up time to an hour earlier– was told I was «all set.» Day of departure… shuttle was 15 minutes late. Called and was told they never entered the time change… again with the attitude. Mistakes happen, no biggie but you’re in customer service– act like it.
I’m giving three stars because they did send a cab ASAP without charge and got me to the airport on time which I really did appreciate… but still not good enough to book again.

We called for a shuttle pickup at 5:30am. At 5:30 there’s no shuttle. Called at 5:40 to check if they’re coming and was told:“Coming soon… You’re scheduled at 5:40.” So we waited. Still nothing at 5:50 and called them again. They told us to wait some more. When it’s almost 6am and still no shuttle we had to cut our losses and get a cab, which cost about the same amount of money from the Hyatt. When we called them again to ask for a refund. This time they claimed they came to pick us up at 5:30! No show + lie = 0 stars. AVOID and take a cab!

The driver was really nice.
The check in girl was OK.
The experience on the other hand was not the nicest.
I scheduled my pick up and prepaid on-​line. (I only booked a one way because I know how these shuttles tend to be). At check in, the girl at the desk told me up to 20 minutes. I waited outside and it was a little longer than that. Then we all boarded the shuttle. I was happy, thinking we were ready to roll.
Well the check in girl asked the driver to kick two people off and put them on another shuttle. These people were handicapped, ugh. I felt bad watching this go down.
Then we were finally on the road!
BUT then the shuttle got a call to go back to the airport to pick up another guest.
So, we looped back to the airport and loaded up another guest.
An hour and a half after landing, I arrived at my hotel. A cab would have been 10 minutes and about $ 30. After traveling all day, paying the extra $ 15 would of been worth it to me!
When leaving Albuquerque… I took a cab. :)

I prepaid through the website. I had a confirmation number but the driver didn’t show and I still got billed. Very fustrating at 0530 in the morning when you know you only have a limited amount of time to catch a flight.
Avoid using them. They will leave you.
