Specialties

Welcome to Go Girls! Camp. Go Girls! is not just a summer camp, it’s a movement… an internationally recognized social innovation that re-imagines the way we educate, nurture and empower girls. In Go Girls! Camps, girls make and perform their own plays, art, and media that we believe will change the world. Go Girls! teaches girls ages 6 – 11 the essential social/emotional skills that will help them become bold, brave, and compassionate young women.

Go Girls! Camp happens in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, Alameda, Mill Valley, Palo Alto & Sonoma.

History

Established in 2006.

Glitter & Razz was established in the East Bay in 2006 by Allison Kenny and Lynn Johnson, partners in life and business after 4 years of creating original theater together with kids ages 4 – 11. Go Girls! Camp began by accident in 2008. That summer, 17 girls — and only girls — signed up for Glitter & Razz camp. We knew that their play had to celebrate being a girl. When we asked them if they would come back to a girls-only camp, they screamed a resounding «Yes!» And now, in 2015, Go Girls! can’t be stopped. Last summer, 300 Go Girls! took the stage in the Bay Area and, this summer, we expect almost 600 girls to declare «I am a Go Girl!»
