Robert and Brian rocked it! We hired them for our April 2015 wedding. They were very helpful, professional, showed up on time, communicated with me, and answered all my emails and text messages. I truly appreciate them.

My wife (fiancée at the time) and I found out about AP & S at a wedding expo. We met Robert there and then met Brian later when we decided to hire them. They were really nice and truthful about all of our priorities and concerns. They both were easy to communicate and schedule meetings with. Their pricing is competitive and the quality of work was awesome! The turn around time that it took for us to receive the proofs and the beautiful photo book was reasonable as well. We get compliments from everyone that has seen our wedding photos and the album they made for us. We highly recommend using AP & S!

I worked with Brian for my wedding, he was very responsive and provided me with a 1 stop shop for all of my equipment needs including a projector and screen. He was very easy to work with and I knew I could rely on him.

I chose Advanced photo and sound for photography and dj for my wedding on January 11,2014. I booked them a year prior when I received an email telling me about their special wedding packages (Wedding expo).They seemed to fit in my budget. I checked their website and decided to give them a try. I called the number and immediately they were really great with communication.
They were very flexible with meeting us for a consultation. I remember they met us on a rainy night at a Starbucks that was closest to where we lived! During consultation they were very easy to talk to and personable. They talked about their background and experience and even showed us a sample of a wedding album they did for another couple! I thought… OMG! This is beautiful! I decided to book them that night.
The communication process with Robert and Brian was consistent for that whole year I planned my wedding. And even when they missed my call. They’d always call back right away. I did not have one email go unnoticed with no response.
The tips I would give to couples if hiring for a wedding. Is to choose specific songs for your wedding and give the dj a list. He will not miss a song. For photos, I’d look up some ideas online that you absolutely want you and your groom to take on the day of your wedding. I gave them a list a few weeks prior to our wedding and they literally remembered all the shots the day of my wedding. They even reminded me about certain ones I forgot! They took some great candids too!
Three weeks after my wedding I received my digital copies of all my photos on a disc. They are still communicating well even after our wedding is over!!! Amazing!!! We are just waiting on our wedding album. We can’t wait!
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photographer to shoot their wedding!

We booked «Advanced Photo and Sound»; Brian and Robert for our August 2013 wedding. Both were easy to work with and friendly. I didn’t feel any pressure when I had my first meeting with Brian. Brian is very prompt when answering emails and/​or voice messages. They were flexible and arrived on time, though it was 5 in the morning, Brian and Robert stayed until the reception was over. Their prices are very reasonable, within our budget and am very happy with the results of the pictures.
Looking over the pictures, you could tell we had «FUN». They captured the energy of our wedding!
Just double check on name spelling, misspelled groom’s name. Contacted Brian about the misprint and he readily took care of it.

My husband and I booked Advanced Photo and Sound for our Oct 2012 wedding because of the reasonable price. That it included a DJ, which we weren’t first planning on, made it even better. Brian and Robert are easy going, which helped because I hate having my picture taken. We also liked that Brian concentrated on the candid shots, while Robert handled the formal ones. We wanted our wedding to be FUN! Those who didn’t attend our wedding said our photos showed we were having a blast. My advice would be to take engagement photos with them if you’re not comfortable in front of the camera (offered but we didn’t do) and if you want specific photos, communicate with them. Our ceremony was private because it was in a small chapel. Most of our guests were at the reception but there are very few pictures of them. Majority of the photos were of my husband and me, but I blame myself for not asking for this. Oh and by the way, our wedding was during the tsunami warning, yet Brian and Robert stayed till the end. Also, Brian met me in town twice to give me the photo CDs and photo book, even though he lives on the Leeward side.

We had Jason Goo from Advanced Photo and Sound DJ our wedding at the Aulani, Disney Resort and Spa and Jason did an excellent job. He met us ahead of time and obtained our USB drive with our music on it to prepare for the next day. He played every song at the right time and took requests and was just perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Thanks again Jason!!!

Great Customer Service:
Love love LOVE them!!! We knew from the very moment we met Brian, Robert and Jay that they were perfect for our wedding. They were so down to earth and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. They provided such amazing customer service and we felt more like friends than clients. They are very reasonably priced and have special rates for DJ if you book the photographers. The photographers came very early in the morning and stayed with us until the very end of the reception. Also, THEY called ME a few days before the wedding to confirm the timeline for the day.
Awesome Photos:
Within a week of our wedding some of the pictures were up on their website and they looked AMAZING! I can’t wait to see the rest. They had really great ideas about how to make the photos fun and unique. In fact, we loved working with them so much, we are booking an additional session for just us (bride and groom) on the beach a month after our wedding.
Great DJ:
Jay was a great DJ! Our dance floor was completely full and it never died down. The music was a nice mix of «older» and modern hits so it really appealed to all of our guests. He even had a haze machine and lights which really made the room fun. I received alot of feedback from guests about how much fun they had while dancing.
