We got exactly what we ordered with fast service and it was all delicious. Prices were right and no problems whatsoever with the bill so an overall enjoyable;e experience. I had the Lamb Tika Masala and an order of Veggie Samosa. We shared a Coconut Supreme(Coconut ice cream) for dessert. No complaints.

Pouring rain, this was right next to my hotel and I wanted some takeout to go to the room and dry off and have dinner. They were friendly and fast. The food was good, nothing amazing but solid good. didn’t like the naan, I have had much much better but the two dishes I got were good. I had lamb vindaloo and tiki masala. They didn’t give me any silverware which was annoying. When you get takeout, you shouldn’t have to ask for utensils. Prices were reasonable and they it was a cute little place. I would grab it again on the go but would hope to find better naan in London! The food was very spicy but I loved it. But if you don’t like spicy, make sure you look at the menu for the ones marked because boy did it have a kick!

Restaurant was quiet so I thought it would be bad, but it was top notch. Nice staff, spicy madras was delicious although the rice portion was a bit small, had to get a second rice. I love Indian food and it was the only one in the area I was staying. Would come back if I’m ever in the area.

Terrible food, tiny portions. Rude, pushy staff that is constantly trying to hustle you and a mandatory tip added to your bill. Run away from here as fast as you can.

Decent Indian food. Had several dishes I’d not tried in the States. I had the lamb jalfrezi which was a spicy curry with even spicier thin green peppers.

Best Indian food I’ve had in London in 30 years of visiting! And they’re open til midnight.

I just got rob by one of their staff tonight. We are the 16th of december and I went for diner alone tonight as I am on a business trip. I had a £15 dinner but the waiter predialed another higher amount on the credit card machine and quickly took back the details of the bill when I asked to check it again… Classic but obviously very sad for your restaurant. The restaurant manager can contact me anytime if needed. I shared my complain with the George Hotel next door in order to alert clients about the fraud. The 3 guys are aware og the technique as they were laughing and stressed at the same time when they noticed that I saw the trick. So check twice before paying.

Went there on a Friday night(it was utterly empty except for 1 guy waiting for his takeaway) — service had to be forcibly demanded, with giant waving arms as all the waiters huddled around the bar area with their backs to the tables most of the time, chatting about something or other. No smiles, no friendliness, just a sense that they resent you having called them over so you could order water, or the bill… Food fairly average.

My parents are Indian Food virgins, but I convinced them that they couldn’t let a visit to London pass without sampling the Brits’ favourite cuisine. We stumbled into this nondescript dining room off a side street seconds away King’s Cross. Since then I’ve gone back time and again(they have a student discount, and lunch deals!), and brought visitors from Italy and Holland to it. They all reminisce about it with praise. They insist on your having poppadom with the loveliest dips — pear chutney, fresh sliced cucumber, and my favourite — a light mint yogurt. They serve curry and tandoori in tiny little silver dishes, the traditional way, which at first glance looks like it won’t fill you up, but by the end of the meal you’re groaning. They never fail to warn you how«hot» — in temperature, the flavours are mild enough should you request so — every dish is as they set it down on the table. The prices are very reasonable, but the indian beer is a disappointment.
