As others mentioned, the service is not the best. But the important thing is– the food. Which was not great. The naan was average, and the curry was bland. Just the forgettable kind of Indian food like the frozen stuff in the grocery store. It’s not cheap either. £7 and upwards for the basic dishes. Too bad, they have a good location.

Pretty good food. Service not great — we had to ask for more drinks from someone clearing other tables. It deserves more attention than it’s getting, though. It’s a solid spot.

Highly recommend this place for great Indian food. Excellent food and service at a decent price. Best naan bread I’ve had since traveling through India.

I lunched here last week with a friend who works up the road we’d not planned to eat here but passed it and thought oh, how about here? The food was delicious, good value and plentiful, with a wide range of vegetarian dishes; if you’re vegan probably fewer if any as ghee is used in most of their dishes, I suspect. We shared a few side dishes, some aloo paratha(fried India bread stuffed with potato) and pilau rice(which didn’t seem that different from plain rice). The bill came to around £10 each including a soft drink. Not at all bad for the location. Very few people were there at lunchtime maybe because of the holidays, but maybe also because the restaurant’s exterior does little justice to the quality of its dishes.
