When Im back home, this brings me back to random night at home watching a movie and being too lazy to cook so ordering here and eating yummy food by the tv. I love that they haven’t changed much in 15+ years. Their service is impeccable & they have ample parking on the side. Order a «pasta blanca con jamon» with a side of red sauce to mix and you will thank me later. They make great pizzas and have awesome garlic bread.

I ordered the eggplant Parmesan to go and that stuff gave me diarrhea. It looked as if they did it like 2 months ago, freezed it, then heated it again for when it was ordered. Never eating here again.

Good service, good pasta, good pizza, good sangria. They offer specials during the week. You can place orders thru the phone and it will be ready when you get there. They have make your own pasta option with great healthy choices. Pizza is delicious, even cheese only. Love combination pizza with meat, ham, chorizo and other ingredients! Highly recommended!

Awesome pizza top quality ingredients, got to try the Carbonara my family’s favorite. Appetizers are good, great service and good wines for fair prices.

The service was a little slow and the ham calzoni was just and average one, nothing outstanding or memorable.

We were in San Juan and somehow we were craving Italian food. The intent was going to another place but walked by this one and looked good to us. It is a decent sized place. We sat along the window for people watching. Penne with shrimp and clam with tomato sauce looked really good on the menu to me. It did taste great too. Small shrimps and chunks of clam meat with very light tomato sauce tasted great together. However this dish was served with spaghetti instead of penne which was not big deal to me. One of the cold workers ordered Veggie pizza which was pretty good too. Italian salad was fine. The desert was flan which was just fine. The waitress seemed not focusing enough for her job. She forgot the salad until we called her after the entrée was served. And we had to remind her twice about extra plate or spoons. A fine average Italian place for dinning when you are in area.

***Yummy pizza in a family-friendly environment.*** I really love the pizza here because of the cheese. I don’t know which they use or where they get it, but the Margherita pizza I ordered the other day did not disappoint. I had the small/personal size, which they cutely call«pibe»(small in Argentinian Spanish). This place has been around for awhile — 25+ years. This is their original location, although they have 10 other locations in Caguas, Escorial, Isla Verde, Dorado, Guaynabo, Sierra Bayamón, Rexville, San Patricio, Mayagüez and Plaza Las Américas. I used to live quite nearby when I was little, so my family and me would buy pizza there very frequently. I never remember having pasta, and the other day was the first time I went in many years, so I can’t rate their other-than-pizza Italian; but I loooved, loved my Margherita pizza. The sauce was not acidic or bitter, the crust was thin and chewy but not soggy, and again, the cheese! They used fresh basil and tomatoes, and I like that they put those underneath the cheese, so you don’t have a mess of ingredients falling on your lap. I also ordered their Pale Ale tap beer — which I REALLY needed. Their coffee was the superb ender. I loved my lunch. The bill: 1 Pibe sized Margherita pizza @ $ 9.15 1 Old Harbour draft beer @ $ 4.95 1 coffee & milk @ $ 2.39 municipal tax @ 16 + I.V.U.(6%) tax @ 99 _________________________________ = $ 17.64 plus tip Service was quite nice and timely, but I sat at the bar, so I don’t know how the wait staff functions in general. But Gilberto the bartender, and the owner(or manager?) were respectful and attentive.

After a disappointing visit a couple of weeks ago to the Faccio’s Mayaguez location, the opportunity to attend a business lunch with a group of friends at their original Cupey location seemed like just the right opportunity for Faccio to redeem itself and live up to old memories of years past. It didn’t. The Cupey location is indeed larger and more fashionable than the new uninspired locations and its large, well-stocked bar makes it more an adult hangout than a family restaurant. The overly ambitious menu includes their signature pizzas plus a variety of Italian dishes, sandwiches, soups, and desserts. I selected their«Combination» pizza that included Spanish sausage, ham, shrimp, and peppers. Their smallest«pibe» size is about 12 inches of unremarkable flavor. The«Spanish sausage» is thinly sliced — not crumbled — and is totally lacking in the flavor and attitude that you expect from a real Spanish chorizo. The ham and shrimp were equally bland. Another guest sent back the ordered $ 4.49 «House Salad» which turned out to be little more that what you might get for free in a classier restaurant. A quick poll around the table brought back similar equally disappointing comments about the pasta with meatballs, tomato soup, and the chicken salad. In general, the menu seems outdated and assembled from precooked frozen meats. Not surprisingly, my request to visit the kitchen was declined with a curt«Maybe some other time when the owner is here». Keep your expectations low and you will not be dissatisfied.

Faccio’s was at some point an innovator, one of the first Pizza establishments in Puerto Rico. That was 30 years ago. Today Faccio grips on to its reputation like a washed up celebrity clings on to past laurels, without every revisiting their craft. Perhaps the lack of fresh ingredients, toasted dry herbs and copious amounts of cheese were once viable solutions for the absences of quality ingredients. But today there is no excuse for perpetuating a stale, greasy, and bland formula and on top passing it off as one of Puerto Rico’s most treasured institutions.

Good old times. A simple cheese pie that always hits the spot. The large size pie is the best, in my opinion. Its crust is slightly thinner and crispier than the medium, which seems a little doughy.

De las mejores pizzas que he comido, la Faccio Especialisima es exquisita, la sangria de la Casa es rica y tienen una gran variedad de cervezas…
