I’m still @ the restaurant and already has the need to write a review. The place has a good selection of wines and the pizza dough is very good. Period. The service is awful. I blame it on the owner for not giving proper training. The cheese board, don’t bother; the parmesan was too salty and the manchego doesn’t taste like it. The pizza toppings looks artificial and it is underseasoned. They didn’t even have an olive oil serving bottle don’t to mention it is bland. The ambiance is dark eventhough is 3pm. Ahh the bread is good but you could get it at the Francaise Bakery next door. They have burritos in the menu. Really? Isn’t there enough with Cantinflas Rest. Is it true that one of the owners is italian? Really!

Is good! Is not the best in PR. But is fine. Needs to feel more fresh. Es buena! No es la mejor de PR, pero es buena. El pan necesita estar más fresco. Vuelvo!, a probar más del menú, ya que es bastante amplio.

The BEST pizza in Puerto Rico! It is even better if you order it with fresh mozarella. Yummy

We planed to meet our friends, Vonn and Parry, for a sandwich at the well known Panaderia La Francaise founded in 1912 on route 1 south about 15 – 20 minutes from Condado. Patty says,” let’s try the pizza next door.” not expecting much from a pizzeria in the middle of nowhere, I said, «sure let’s try it.’ So we walk in and to my great surprise and pleasure I see my old friend Luigi, Master Chef from Naples, who used to be the chef at Alessandro’s at San Patrizio! We had an amazing lunch and ended the meal with a home made tiramisu(as good as mine!) and a real Cannolo Siciliano! Rent a car, grab a friend, GO… REAL Italian food at ½ the price of San Juan mediocre Italian restaurants! Just hoping the palets who are used to mediocre Olive Garden quality Italian will get this FRESH, HOMEMADEPASTA, REAL Deal, Italian food…
