Excellent food and great atmosphere and really great service. A great place for a great drink and everything is very clean! Great waitresses and waiters in a perfect spot especially in a hotel and close to the beach. The hand press burger was really great, my brother’s pasta was very spicy but since the service was so good they remade it for him without complaining about it.

Unlike most of the people on here, we went for dinner! We were there on a Sunday night and it seemed very tame. We were somewhat worried about the dance club upstairs but it was not open on the Sunday evening we were there. Service was the same as that in most of Puerto Rico: slow. I don’t think we had the same waiter twice that night. I would take off maybe half a star for this, but nothing worse than what we experienced anywhere else during our trip. Also, the table was kind of small. The ambiance and décor were great, nothing too extreme and just classic Italian restaurant.
I had the Mediterranean salmon, which comes with a vegetable orzo. It was divine. I literally ate every bite! My dad kept trying to try some of my salmon and I would not let him! The orzo had peppers in it (no other vegetables), but it was delicious and the perfect complement to the salmon.
The special that night was the seafood risotto. So rich, so good. My dad had it and while the portion looked small, it was very filling. Cannot recommend this enough.
The penne pesto primavera was very good. Pasta was al dente and the pesto was light. Not sure what veggies were in it.
The spinach ravioli was apparently really good because my brother ate it all and didn’t share! He had it with Alfredo sauce but they offer a variety, such as marinara, vodka sauce, etc.
Overall, this was a great place to get some Italian food in the heart of Condado. If you aren’t familiar with the area, it is kind of like the South Beach of San Juan. After dinner we were able to walk around, shop, etc. and it was a great evening! Our taxi driver assured us that the area was very safe and we had no reason to disagree.
I would highly recommend Di Zucchero for Italian in San Juan!

Unless you have 2 hours to spare to wait for 2 personal size pizza’s, don’t waste your time! Extremely disappointed by service and even worse, when asking the server where the pizza’s were and what was taking so long, the server mouthed off to me and my family. Don’t get me wrong, once we got the pizzas, they were delicious but food quality and service go hand and hand when dining out. As someone that has worked in hospitality for 6 years, studied it in school and traveled around the world, this by far has been the worst service. When the bill came, they did us the «service» of a $ 7 discount. Truly, they shouldn’t of inconvenienced themselves with the $ 7 discount because it felt more like an insult.

This place was across street from our hotel. Great cup of coffee. We had breakfast here twice. Good breakfast.

Was walking by and decided to stop for breakfast. I had the smoked salmon, bagel and a cup of coffee. It was all really good. I nibbled on my hubbies breakfast too the fruit plate was really good. The reason for a 4 and not a 5 is because it was so cold I almost didn’t stay.

Breakfast here was great. I had the oatmeal and fruit and my wife had the salmon bagel. Oatmeal was a little bland (probably to allow for the walnut flavor to come through), but extremely creamy and cooked perfectly, and the fruit was served with a deliciously light whipped cream. My wife said her salmon was delicious with a great combination of flavors.
Service was great and very attentive. It was a little cold inside, but most restaurants are at their slower times. Would definitely recommend to others.

The house salad was good. The chicken primavera was seasoned well but a little light on the chicken. I would come back.

Come to PR every year for Christmas. My family and I come here almost every morning for breakfast. It’s very quiet if you go before 9:30 AM. staff is VERY friendly and breakfast food is good. I always order the strawberry pancakes and love them! My family is addicted to the oatmeal there. Bacon isn’t very good (and that’s my only complaint)

We stayed at Marriot for our time at San Juan, and this restaurant is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is pretty American style, but taste good!

This review is for the lounge/​club, not the restaurant. The bouncers here are extremely rude and arrogant. If you’re a guy and you don’t have a lady with you, they make you wait indefinitely while they let all the girls or guys who have girls in. If you do manage to get in, you will be charged a $ 20 entrance fee just for being a guy, not to mention the prices in the bar are ludicruous. These people seem to think they are a high end club in New York City.
If you’re looking for a club, you’re better off going to Brava, where at least you’ll have more fun.

Hate to be a harsh reviewer, but man this place was such a disappointment!
Located in the heart of all the hotels, across from the Marriot. Knowing this I really didn’t expect too much and that is what I received.
The good aspects were the cool vintage décor. Also I really, really enjoyed the chicken over salad, but for the price the portion could have been bigger.
We ordered the pizza to start. It was not good. It tasted like frozen heated up pizza. The Caesar salad had a real funky taste, we had to send that back.

Great place that we grabbed lunch at. Of course I ordered my calamari for an appetizer, and I had the chicken wrap. It was so juicy, and had pesto. Our waitress was so nice, and hubby had the chicken baguette but ended up eating half of my wrap instead.

I had food there 3 times, one sit down and 2 take out. The take out was for their Caprese Salad, it was very good and fresh. For the sit down, my dad and I ordered Calamari, he had prosciutto pizza and I ordered Ravioli. The calamari was very salty, my dad enjoyed the pizza and I enjoyed my ravioli. However, the ravioli was pretty heavy, I took half of it to go and ate it the next day. Our waitress was great and we had no issues with the service the few times I got food from them. The caprese salad is what I was hooked on.

The pepperoni pizza was amazing! Good, attentive service, staff were friendly. Great location, 2 minute walk from my hotel!

Lovely restaurant with eclectic style and fantastic wait staff. The hostess approached us as we were looking over the menu and assured us «you’ll love it». Not in a pleasant way, but in a ‘eat here or pay the price’ way. But good thing she scared us into it, because we really did love it.
The mister had steak and I had spaghetti with bolognese sauce. He thought the portion was perfect, the cook was just right and the vegetable side with orzo was the best thing on the plate – which is weird for a carnivore to say.
My portion was pretty large. I couldn’t finish it… but yet I could finish the crème brûlée. Go figure. He had coffee, was disappointed, commented to our server that he thought PR coffee was supposed to be strong, and the server told us «ohhh you have to request PR coffee». He drank that and was satiated.
Overall great experience if you’re looking for Italian in Puerto Rico.

We ordered the eggs Benedict and cortadito. Both were good. The Benedict was served with turkey-​ham instead of salmon, I guess you have to ask for the salmon? The side of potatoes were crispy with a hint of parm melted on top.
The cortadito was solid as you would get anywhere. What made this place was eating outdoors on a beautiful morning and enjoying really good service.

Noooo they do not serve the fried lasagna any more im so crushed right now. So ima try something else. But when you come to Di Zucchero make sure your waiter is Edwin he’s a really cool dude and great with assisting you with whatever questions you may have. I will return soon because the pasta was awesome.

While checking out the surrounding neighborhoods of our hotel, my BFF and I decided to stop by here for a late breakfast. As we entered we noticed how cute and how much of a coffee house it reminded us. The chairs were all mix matched and they had a coffee table sofa set up to the side. You can either eat outside on the porch or the inside had a couple of levels to eat at. They have a full service bar and several coffee drinks to choose from.
We were on a tight schedule and wanted something quick so we could keep moving. We each ordered a croissant with eggs, cheese and ham. Simple, right? Wrong! It literally took 45 minutes for us to receive our orders. Not only was the service slow, our server was also the barista so we only saw him once, when her delivered our food to the table. No one came by to let us know why was it such a long hold up or apologize for the inconvenience. Time is clearly not of the essence in PR.
The sandwiches were good, but anything on a croissant is always a good time. I’ve been to better, I’ve been to worst. It was just okay.
