We had dinner here while on vacation and the food was very good. The resort gave us fre drink coupons, so we were able to get a couple of rum drinks for free which was nice. It was a bit pricey, but other than that, we had no issues at all.

Papaya Ocean Front Grill is located by the main pool at the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde Resort. It’s open air seating with a fantastic view of the beach to one side and the pool to the other. The menu is a pretty standard poolside menu: salads, sandwiches and wraps. The portions are generous enough to split. My husband and I shared the grilled chicken sandwich. There was nothing spectacular about it, but it was well cooked and satisfying. My kid had the chicken tenders, which she seemed to enjoy. The iguana situation in this area is entertaining. There were 3REALLYBIG iguanas being fed lettuce by the staff. If you’re into that kind of thing, enjoy! If you’re not, don’t worry. They usually keep to themselves.

Pretty typical over-priced hotel food. It is convenient and the staff is great. The nachos were a step above gas station nachos… I’d stick to their sandwiches or burgers.

We took a break from the sun and had lunch here today. It was tastier than we expected. Fresh, crispy, and perfect for a meal after a swim. The staff was constantly smiling and warm. While we were eating, an iguana tried to climb up my mum’s chair and a waitress lured him away with a sheaf of lettuce(we didn’t even notice until we saw his lizardy tail wiggling away from our table) — so thanks, Marriott!!!

I love Papaya! I stayed in the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde Resort from 3÷9−3÷15. The convenience of the restaurant is unmeasurable. You could order the food directly or the waitresses, Lorraine, on the beach would come up to you. For 2 days, my friends and I ordered lunch while on the beach and had it delivered to us. All I have to say is positive things. The prices were outstanding for the quantity of food you would get. On a regular I would order the 3 chicken tenders with friends and honey mustard for lunch that came to a total of $ 10.70. One day I ordered the papaya sampler that came with 2 chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, 2 chicken tenders and fries for $ 13. Not only did I enjoy the food, but the drinks were delicious. The first drink I tried was the strawberry daquiri that was $ 9 but delicious. Also, my favorite drink was the Blue Bay which came with a pineapple and cherry that was only $ 4. If you find yourself staying at the resort, I suggest you try the food and drinks.

This restaurant is convenient if you’re staying at the Courtyard Marriott or if you’re walking on the beach and want to grab something to eat. Some of the hotels won’t let you dine at their restaurants by walking in from the beach, you actually have to go in from the street, which seems ridiculous. However, they’re cool with you coming in and dining there. The food itself is your basic sandwiches and fries kind of menu.

decent hotel food. Nothing outstanding but the food was solid and breakfast was fresh every day. I have to say the fresh fruit was the best and sweetest i may have ever had. It was so good.

Located at the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde. Best part is that you don’t have to leave your chair to order food! $ 12 sandwiches are big enough to share.

For Puerto Rico, a three-star review is fabulous! We ate at the Papaya Ocean Front Grill several times during our stay. The service was excellent and the food, like all food in PR was just okay.

Stayed at this hotel and enjoyed the convenience of this place. Very basic bar food menu, chicken fingers were pretty small but overall ok for what the menu offers.
