Amazing gem in Sorrento! We loved this place in the heart of the city on a beautiful side street — staff were so kind and flexible and the food was OUTSTANDING! We had tomato salad, pizza Napoli, pasta with clams, seafood salad with artichokes, steak, and the house special of homemade pasta and lemon sauce with shrimp! So good! Also had the house red wine, delicious! Beautiful ambiance and we recommended the restaurant to our friends and they loved it too! Will definitely go back and highly recommended! Very reasonably priced as well!

Charming place with excellent food and service. I had pasta in lemon with shrimp and my husband had pasta with meat sauce. Both very good. The tomatoes in the caprese were exceptional. We would return.

I have been in Italy traveling around for 3 weeks and this was by far the best meal I had. The lemon pasta was absolutely incredible. The house red wine also very good. Great prices as well. The service was great. All family owned. A must go to restaurant

We ate at this restaurant three times in 5 days. Food was absolutely delicious, wine prices very reasonable and the waiters were super friendly. Eating at 5 different restaurants for lunch and dinner, this was by far the best. We recommend it highly to anyone. Dishes we loved, lemon pasta with shrimp, gnocchi sorrento style, seafood starter, spaghetti ali olio and more. House white wine, delicious and 10 euro for 1 liter. Absolutely great!

What a treat I read the Unilocal reviews and decided to go here tonight while in Sorrento. The pasta lemon w shrimp my wife said«to die for«I had the Zuppa de Mare and it was so full of great seafood, clams mussels fish octopus in a light sauce served piping hot it was a treasure for 22 €. My son had spaghetti meatballs and said it was fantastic, kids are easy to impress ! Two bottles of Vesuvius volcanic red which I had just read about and they were great. Five adults appetizers drinks desert 150 € and the big PLUS an accordion player when we sat down which I so happen to play and he let me lead off the evening playing a few tunes on his Roland squeeze box !

Came in here thinking it was he restaurant of the inn that we were staying at. After being seated and spoken to, realized it wasn’t part of the inn. The waiter was not the friendliest. My husband ordered the lemon cream shrimp pasta which was cooked perfectly since the pasta was homemade. The flavor was nice but not a lot of shrimp and it was chopped up in small pieces. The dish was nicely present as some of the pasta filled an empty lemon«cup». I ordered the linguine al vongole, I regretted my decision immediately. The pasta was so salty and the linguine was too al dente for my taste. The pasta still looked translucent . The second course came out, fish and potatoes. It was just an okay dish and not sure if the fish was fresh. The potatoes were over seasoned w salt but paired well with the dish. My hubby’s side salad was so so. Anyhoo would put 2 ½ stars but the lemon shrimp pasta was pretty darn good. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Wish the staff was friendlier would have made it a much better experience. Oh and they charge for bread even though we didn’t ask for it.

Found this place after looking through Unilocal and all the reviews are pretty accurate. It is located in an alley and there were locals dining– two signs you’ve found a good place to eat. For antipasti we had the fiori di zucchine, for primi piatti we shared the tagliatelle with lemon cream sauce and for secondi piatti we shared the lamb chops in a balsamic reduction with peas and potatoes. We also had the half liter of the house white wine. I wasn’t crazy about dessert. We had the tiramisu and lemon cake. If you skip dessert you won’t have missed anything. This restaurant is the priciest place we’ve had dinner during our stay in Sorrento, but you’re paying for fine food and service.

so we have been in Sorrento for 4 days, we have tried all different restaurants which of course were super delicious! But this place wins the prize! Everything was so fresh and amazing! We started with the tomato and mozzarella salad, and the gnocchi which melted in your mouth. Then we went on to Our main dish, my husband got the seafood linguine and I had the Cannelloni and all I could say was WOW! Words could not describe how amazing it was. We did order the house red wine which was really really good. Not to mention the service was really great too, really nice people.

I was impressed with the restaurant and really happy with the food. The ambiance was amazing, and the services was great. We made a day trip to Sorrento and it was lunch time and so we stumbled upon Ristorante Fuoro. It looked inviting from the outside and and the menu actually looked pretty good. The menu looked quite good where I had one of the Special of the Day dishes; pasta with meat ball. The dish was good, and the chocolate dish dish was even better. I looked over at another table and saw their sea food dish that came out. I was particularly interested in the calamari. The way the calamari was breaded looked good from where I was. The price menu was not as expensive as I was expecting. So you’ll leave full and with money in your pocket.

After 4 days in Sorrento, enjoying lots of amazing food, we stopped for dinner at Ristorante Fuoro. This was suggested by a couple we had met enjoying another very good meal the night before. Off the main street, on a tiny alley, very quaint. We’ve discovered that most restaurants here are not as «aggressive» as some back in the states(constantly checking to see how you’re doing, etc.). They seem to leave it to you to let them know if you need anything else, including the check. They offered 2 specials in addition to the regular menu. I elected to try a homemade fettuccine with shrimp in a lemon/cream-based sauce. INCREDIBLE!!! I was hesitant to try it but was blown away. The sauce was perfect and I had triple-inspect the shrimp to make sure it wasn’t lobster — I’ve never had anything so good. Don’t miss it!
