Good place for lunch and quite filling. The atmosphere is a bit strange but I can’t quite put my finger on why. Perhaps this is a better dinner spot than lunch place. It’s near the Trevi Fountain so I imagine they get a bunch of tourists but the food itself is still quite good. Service was a bit slow as well.

I randomly happened to eat here, while living a day as a tourist in my own city. My attention was caught by the daily dishes on the outside board, but the push-in guy played a good part too. The daily dishes are the perfect deal, cheap, good and of respectable size. Nice waiters and perfect location(near Pantheon and Fontana Di Trevi). A bit deceiving the low prices on the board and the cheap table covers while everything but the daily offers is very expensive.

Not recommended for a pleasant dining experience. The food is actually pretty good but everything else is bad. This place is frequented by tourists of the Pantheon, not locals. There are non-Italians working here. The server was a very brusk, rude woman. She continually tried to up-sale every choice we made. She said the chef recommended the Turbot which was actually the least fresh fish in the case, several days old with sunken shriveled eyes. Many flying insects inside the restaurant. We walked to the exit in an attempt to get the conto. She had added on charges for bread we refused and demanded a tip, on top of the standard service charge. When I asked if service was included she lied and said no. Food: 3 – 4 Everything else: 1

My husband and I came here for dinner on our last night in Rome. To be honest, we found it by accident while roaming the small streets of Italy. The entrance was very welcoming and we were escorted it immediately upon standing at the door. The first display case to your right hand side had lobsters and fish. The restaurant was very quaint, had warm lighting, and had paintings on the wall. It could have been someone’s small living room. Towards the back, there was a bar which held a food selection of drinks. The bread was good as we waited for our meal. I had clam pasta and my husband had filet Mignon with peppercorn sauce. My clams were fresh and my pasta was nicely(American pasta is softer in texture). My husbands filet was a bit undercooked but it was very delicious with the sauce. PS. If you like steak medium well, it is just a better idea to ask for well cooked. Italians do not seem to know what medium well is. Out of the few times he ordered steak, medium well has been closer to medium rare. We did not have a lot of time to sit and chit chat but the overall experience was very nice. I will return if I come back to Italy :)

Located near the Pantheon we were tired cold and hungry. I had passed this delightful cozy little restaurant on our way to see the the site and thought, «Wow! Candles, beautiful eclectic art on the walls, large bowls of cookies and a block of chocolate placed at your table for dessert with a coffee to top it off? Looks like a great find! Here’s a run down: Bruschetta was meh-so i would pass on this starter-no flavor. Clam pasta-wonderful Pasta Carbonara-yummy Kids spaghetti-perfect Prosecco-a little too dry for my liking but it was just what I needed. Cute little place tucked away in the tiny cobble stone streets near tons of shopping. Service ok Check it out only if you’re in the neighborhood.
