Have not been impressed with most take out pizza in Italy… then we stumbled upon this place!!! Amazing pizza! Especially the margarita pizza — thick with fresh basil, tomatoes, and chunks of fresh feta. It was so good we went back the next night to get some more and to have leftovers for breakfast. Had trouble retracing our steps to find it again but we were so happy we did and now I will never forget how to find the best pizza in Roma. Would even be worth a trip back there someday. Seriously, once you’ve had their fresh pizza loaded with toppings none of the other take outs even look appetizing.

Affordable pizza if you just want to grab a bite and you don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant.

For being a pizza takeaway in an exceedingly touristy are, I have to give credit to Pizzarius for being affordable, efficient, and satisfying. Plus, on 50% of my occasions for coming by(admittedly, with an n = 2), there’s been someone with moderate English skills manning the counter. If they have the spinach and sausage pizza, it’s a definite winner. Though not Roman in style — the crust is much thicker than what the locals do, so I’ve learned — my slice was crusty, savoury, and dripping grease in all the right ways. It sure doesn’t hurt that they also stock a variety of beers. After all… nothing says ‘cheap night in front of the laptop’ like a Peroni and some fast food.
