This a little hole in the wall gem. The restaurant is actually deep inside the store front. The porchetta was delicious, while the bistecca florence was just ok. The wait service was attentive.

I was in Florence for 2 days before coming to this place. After a few unsuccessful food experiences(side note: DON’T get suckered into those restaurants by the tourist sites, they’re mostly expensive for lackluster food), my boyfriend and I came in here. We knew we were in the right place when the person who sat us didn’t speak perfect english. Though the menu had both english and italian, I noticed a lot of locals sitting around — another good sign. We ended up doing a lot of pointing when placing our order, but I find this kind of stuff fun. I ordered the stuffed pork and a glass of house wine. The pork was simple, with no sides. It was perfect for me as I wasn’t very hungry. But if you have a larger appetite there are combo platters. Food was very reasonably priced. I recommend it if you’re in the area!
