Visited on a food tour through Florence. Very nice folks behind the counter and provided samples(as part of the tour). Known for their excellent meats. We tasted some of the«salty» and«sweeter» prosciutto that they make… i did not realize it took up to 12 to 24 months to cure the meat. They also have all sorts of different cheeses. I recommend trying this local business.

My favorite place in Florence! I was just walking down a small street, lacking anything different than any other when suddenly a waft of cured meats fills the air. I turn left and all I see is a meat market with a never-ending counter of Italian delicacies. Cured meats, fresh meats, cheeses, gourmet sauces, you name it and they have it! All for decent prices too. You can buy vacuum-sealed cured meats or have the butcher pre-slice something to go. I walked away with nearly 50 Euros-worth of meats and truffle sauce(which I may or may not be smuggling back in my suitcase). Seriously though, this is one stop all foodies should make.
