Came here on Friday night around 730 pm. Actually wanted to go next door to casalinga but did not have a reservation so was turned away. Gusta was not too crowded and were quickly able to be seated on the patio for 4 people. The ambience was nice and service adequate. We tried the gusto meatball and ravioli with lamb ragu. The meatball was 1 large meatball and was surprisingly moist and tender. The meat sauce on top of it was flavorful and delicious. The lamb ragu and ravioli was not anything too special. One downside is that the minimum for credit card is 30 Euro. Overall decent food but not outstanding.

I really wish I could give this place 4.5 stars. While studying in Florence I had meal vouchers for here, so while I can’t talk about the pricing, I can say the food is great. You can tell the pasta is fresh and made daily and all other dishes are tasty as well. They also have quite the selection of desserts and coffee, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Located on a quiet street, the restaurant is very cozy on the inside and also has outdoor seating. Was slightly confused if it was connected to Gusta Pizza? I heard the people dinning next to me order a pizza from there. The menu is mostly pasta choices. I got the homemade lasagna with Bolognese sauce which was pretty good but nothing memorable.

We just wander around Piazza Santo Spirito farmers market and saw the restaurant. The menu looked good and the clientel looked local so we decided to try. Good decision. We got the house appetizer of cheese titbits and cold cuts. Yummy with the house white wine and Frost beer. Then we had rissotto with tribe and radicio. My hubby was not sure about tripe but was game. We both liked the dish very much. For the secondi, my husband had the famous(Giant) meat ball in thick osobucco like ragu. We oggled at the size of the meat ball at first. In no time it was gobbled all down. He loved every bit of it. I had grilled pork with spinach. The pork was grilled to perfection. Crisp outside, juicy inside. They didn’t skimp on the veggy. Must have used a pound for spinash for my dish! Very delicious meal with cozy, friendly neighborhood vibe.

The place is small but have outdoor chair, the salad 7 € was less than average, the wine selection is limited but good, bit pricy6 €. The service was good. For the food, the duck sauce pasta 10 €, was very interesting but heavy, good portion. The streak was excellent 18 €.

Pleasant, crowded trattoria with very reasonable prices. Overly hot indoors in the summer, try to sit outside. Located just across from Santo Spirito church off the lively square. The meatball was excellent, as was the pasta with boar. A terrific meal by US standards, but not above mediocre by Florence standards.

The restaurant we were originally supposed to dine in was closed for the day and after frantically running around in starvation mode and still not trying to settle for lesser quality, we decided on this little restaurant tucked in a streets corner. This restaurant specializes in Tuscan cuisine which offers more meats and soups than pastas. My friend opted for the famous Florentine steak and a Greek salad and I went with a dish offering a giant meatball along with a Greek salad. Another friend had lasagna. I think my food ranked worst on the food-o-meter. The meatball was just not appetizing. Tasted like I was eating one big hotdog. The Greek salad was pretty basic but the olive oil and red pepper oil brought out the taste. My friends enjoyed their steak immensely and the lasagna. I wish I had not ordered the meatball after tasting their juicy steak but twas too late. At least, the gelato run later on made up for my awful experience.

Really enjoyed the restaurant, cute feel and good service. One of our favourite dishes we tried in Italy was the wild boar ragu pasta dish! We also loved the vegetable pie entrée and pork shank for main! Highly recommend!

This place was awesome. It is right down the street from our hotel and a great find. If you happen to go there, definitely or the house antipasti. It was a great combination of prosciutto cheese, and quiche. Also, try the house wine. We really enjoyed it. We ordered a half carafe and it was about five glasses… For six euros. A great deal. The staff was also incredibly friendly. And like many places in Florence, everyone spoke English which was very helpful for us. The menu is in English as well… Although I’m not sure that there is a bad thing on it. Everything we tried was great. I’m not really sure if this happens every time, but we were offered a lemoncello on the house after we paid. And it was delicious.

The bistecca Florentina, the lasagna, and the house wine are simply amazing! This is a must-stop in Florence.
