This restaurant was the best out of all I tried in a 9 day trip to Florence. The service was great and the food was too. I ordered the sea bass, which came with some vegetables. It was perfectly cooked and everything was excellent. Chose this place because I was looking for something a bit off the normal tourist path. Our Airbnb host, who was a tour guide, recommended to try anything in the Spirito Santo area, for a more local experience. We were very happy with the experience and I definitely recommend this restaurant. The people there are very nice.

happened upon this place walking by santo spirito. had a delicious plate of prosciutto and burrata to start and a pizza and the porcini pasta. the pasta was the least delicious, the waiter forgot in on the counter so it was a bit cold when it came to me. pizza with sausage and stacchino was excellent! prices were fair, with wine and beer the bill came to 41 €.

Located near a large popular piazza. We wanted some legit pizza so we stopped by here but the bread they gave us was hard and stale, and the pizza was very mediocre :( They have outdoor seating, which is nice, and no free wifi.

An ordannary restaurant on a great spot at the Spirito Santi Square. The food is ok. The price realistic. The staff was kind, but not really professional. We had four different waiters during a one meal dinner. I got my dish fifteen minutes earlier than my girl. We witnessed a strange thing the staff did with the bread and baskets. Uneaten bread was thrown back in a big basket. New customers got ‘the old’ bread served as if it was recently cut and fresh.

The gelato wasn’t even gelato — it was some version of an overly sugary whipped cream. And it cost 5 euros. Incredibly disappointed.

Sat here on a Sunday afternoon. Nice setting, but 5 euros for a soupy gelato. I would not recommend the gelato or water here. Espresso and people watching only. Setting is very tranquil. I asked Pablo. He said 1 star. Waiter was kind of obnoxious too.

Well made drinks, a lovely patio and great people watching on the piazza santo spirito.

Really can’t go wrong with Pasta here. I just wished they had more options on their dishes. We sat outdoors which was nice since you could people watch. Waiters spoke minimal English so slightly difficult but fortunately they have free wifi so we googled our way to figure out the dishes. The dishes were yummy and priced well. One of my favorite restaurants so far since we got into Florence.

During my recent vacation to Italy/Europe, I had the very best dish of my entire trip here at this restaurant. Papardelle with wild boar. If they have it, and you’re a fan of savory dishes, you have to try it. It was life-changing. Their menu changes daily, so sadly I was not able to get it again the next day when we came back :(. But the other pasta dish that I tried(risotto) was also amazing! Definitely had a «home-cooked» feel to it, not a touristy place as it’s a little ways away from the main part of the city.

Very big salads, delicious and very cheap price!!! The staff is very gentle and the location outside during the summer is perfect! Go for it!

Rather slow to get served. Guitar and accordion serenade throughout lunch. Staff were not really engaging. Food was good.

When I studied in Italy I ate here almost everyday because we had free meals provided for us at this location. In not even a potato girl, but WOW their roasted potatoes are on the money! The pasta dishes are absolutely mouth watering. They have great«aperitivo» where basically you buy a drink and eat as much food as you want to which they have laid out for you. They offer this almost everywhere in Italy and its the best way to save $ while still trying different foods. Very cool atmosphere too!
