Gnam

I went to the takeaway sister-​franchise of the restaurant which is located directly opposite so I cannot speak for the restaurant. The takeaway joint’s main offering is soup and hamburgers.
The first time I had a soup and the second, the classic hamburger.
The soup was good. Nothing special but it tasted good so I would give it 3.5 stars. No complaints there. I’d go back for soup.
The hamburger however was really disappointing. I feel sad to write this as I really wanted it to be good! I like the décor and atmosphere but at the end of the day the taste is the priority. First of all it was way too dry: the bread, the patty, the miserly portion of sauce. Moisture and juiciness in a burger is fundamental and they failed to deliver on this. I couldn’t even finish it because it made me thirsty. Good thing the lunch set came with a bottle of water. The other problem was the potato wedges. It was well cooked but so gritty and sandy that I am convinced it wasn’t washed. I could hear and feel the grains of sand as I was chewing and I couldn’t finish it. All in all I paid € 10 for an extremely mediocre and disappointing burger which in my opinion is way too expensive. Please work on making the burgers more moist!

Ok ok, this place has a very beautiful way of displaying their food, the schiacciata and other breads they use for hamburgers are really tasty, maybe too much oily and the small cups of sauces sooo cute, the gingery lentil soup was awesome and have a boiled veggie skewer instead of the regular salad it’s a touch of finesse that’s worth to mention.
The overall look of the place, which has two spots including the one across the street which is more of a take away offer, it’s the bio-​chic we are all (thankfully) getting used to see around, where research and taste are represented in any possible way.
That said, I don’t eat very much, but portions here are small, also if you compare them to their price.
It’s like they want you to eat dessert at the end, and 25 euros for hamburger, beer and a piece of cake, it’s a bit pretentious.
Anyway, can’t say I didn’t enjoy any tiny tiny bite of that AMAZING seitan and truffle burger I had!

We ate vivanda, and enjoyed it so much that we had to try lapo’s other restaurant. Gnam is delicious, the quality of the beef is outstanding they offer very unique options. Also, the presentation of the food is so ornate and well done, and the restaurant itself is beautiful
