Arnold’s Firenze

This new ‘hamburgeria’ is located in piazzale porta al prato and I stopped by to try one of their burgers with kristina. The design of the place itself was hip, modern and nice. I really liked both the inside and the outside — very in line with the kinds of modern places I have seen around town opening up which is nice.
Their claim to (new) fame is hamburgers made how you want, or hot dogs, piadine — basically a sandwich shop. They don’t really have a menu, you just point to what you want. I had a burger with truffle sauce, grilled veggies. While the bread was nothing to scream home about, it was really tasty.
I gave the place 3 stars because I really liked my panino, but there are some pretty integral room for improvement. First off, they should have the ingredients listed outside that way people know what the salsas and veggies are, not everyone wants to ask about every single one, that or a menu detailing each ingredient.
Also another thing they lack sides. I was still a little hungry when I left the place. A place that looks like this would do really well selling a side like hummus and veggies, or fresh french fries or just well ANYTHING. Otherwise you are stuck ordering two burgers or else risk leaving hungry.
In any case, if they made those changes (especially adding sides), this place would be absolutely awesome. It’s still new so I am thinking they are still working on everything. I will definitely be back to try it again when in the area.
