Vivaldi is my favorite gelateria in Florence! I’ve been here three times already and I’ve liked every single flavor I got. They’re vegan friendly and I’m not even a vegan. All their flavors are great especially the fruit flavors. You can taste and see real fresh pieces of fruit! You can 3 flavors in a cup that’s larger than your average 2,50 € sized cup.

R E J O I C E DELICIOUSVEGANGELATO Italian gelato for folks who can’t have dairy or just prefer to be vegan! I’ve been in Italy for a week now and have just been disappointed by the gelato I’ve had thus far. I stumbled onto this gem while looking for a place to sit while waiting for our dinner reservations around the corner. I saw the vegan sign for lunch, but didn’t think they actually think they made vegan gelato. I sampled both the dark chocolate(vegan option) and chocolate(dairy option) and actually preferred the dark chocolate option. The gelato is so creamy and rich. I’m a huge fan of rich, dense chocolate cakes and this was the jackpot for me. It was my favorite cake, but in gelato form. The small size will run you € 2 and the medium will cost you € 2.50. You probably won’t need more gelato than that. Just come back tomorrow to try more flavors! The café is very cute and plays awesome music. The vibe is very relaxed and a great place to study or catch up with friends. I’ll come back here everyday to try all 6 of their vegan flavors.

Went to this gelato shop because we were told this had some pretty good nutty gelato. So I went with the pistachio and also had the oreo flavored one since I haven’t seen that at any other gelato shop. The gelato was quite good and creamy as expected. I approve of this place.

In the place where gelato originated, this place does it right. The flavor aren’t too crazy, just unusual enough to be different. And they’re all very very well done. It’s a little ways from the heart of Florence, but I like that it’s away from the craziness of the city center.

This is a cute little ice cream shop right next to the Arno river. There is a fairly large variation of ice cream and it’s all very fresh! I had the Oreo and pistachio flavors which went really well together. However the reason why this place earned 5 stars is because of the hidden café behind the ice cream shop. This beautiful café is an amazing addition and is very quiet space which i can imagine is a great work space and better yet seems to only harbor Italian customers! Clearly making the café a more desirable location. Back to ice cream, the pistachio is great, the Oreo is great, almond, yogurt and stracciatella are really really nice. Those are the ones my group tried, I’m sure the rest are also good too!

My friends told me that Florence has some of the best tasting cheap gelato and I found it here! Pros: — Very unique flavors — I just ended up getting fruit flavors bc that’s what I like — 2 euros for small(two scoops) — Very friendly worker Cons: — Place is small but you can either eat your gelato near the river or on your climb to Piazza Michelangelo

I think I may be the only one who may not like this Gelateria… or too picky with my gelato tastes? I have eaten here twice and today’s flavors were coconut, mint, and peanut. All the flavors were too sweet and the coconut did not even taste like coconut with strange cookie-like granules mixed in. I know it’s blasphemy, but I actually threw away half of my gelato! Who does that?! No matter how much I tried to like the gelato, I just couldn’t eat it. Maybe I’ll come back and try the granita. The gelato prices € 2, € 2.50, € 3.50, € 5.00& € 6.00. The portion for price is comparable to other gelateria shops in town. The two stars goes to the really nice décor, comfortable indoor and extra outdoor spaces.

This place has the best gelato I’ve ever had in my LIFE. I had a really hard time choosing what flavors I wanted because all the ones I tried were all so good. In the end I decided to go with coffee and lemon, which don’t compliment each other too well but were both really good. The coffee one had really smooth chocolate in it as well, and it was AMAZING. The gelato is so creamy and so consistent, the first bite I had I knew it was the best gelato I’ve ever had(I had a lot of gelato in Italy, so I had a pretty good sample size). I LOVETHISPLACE. They need to make gelato like this everywhere in the world. It is SOGOOD. The person getting my gelato for me was pretty friendly too. Definitely come here even if you have to walk 20 minutes! It’s so worth it. It’s near Michelangelo Square, so if you’re going there for the sunset or for the view in general, come stop by here before/after for AMAZINGGELATO!

If you’re heading to Piazzale Michelangelo from ponte vecchio, you won’t miss this cute little gelateria. The consistency is creamy and flavors use natural ingredients. Grab a gelato and head to the Michelangelo terrace or the Rose garden.

We stop by on the way Piazzale Michelangelo, we stop by Gelateria Vivaldi. My daughter gets lemon and mango. My husband gets a lemon granita with lemon cream gelato. I get an espresso shakerato drink. All 3 for 8 Euros. Everything was delicious!

THEIRGELATOISSOGOOD! I studied in Florence for 3 months and this place was right down the street from my school. I came here so many times and was never disappointed! Their gelato is delicious and unique because they add chunks of things to most of their flavors. For example, the coffee flavor has little pieces of chocolate-covered espresso beans in it, the coconut has chunks of white chocolate wafers in it, and the gianduja has actual pieces of gianduja(chocolate with hazelnuts) in it. They have a nice seating area in the back with free wi-fi so this is a great place to hang out and study or chat!
