Lots of options. Delicious. Tried dark chocolate, passionfruit, and mango. All were smooth and sweet. The fruit flavors tasted very much like the real thing. I downed my cup in less than two minutes.

Besides the amazing Gelato, I really have to say that the nicest, friendliest man in the world works here. He’ll definitely put a smile on your face and you’ll know who he is when you visit. Top gelato spot, great service, amazing quality gelato and great prices. Top favorites include: yogurt, frutti di bosco and cheesecake. Definitely recommend!

BEST gelato I have had in Florence yet. I tried 3 gelaterias today and this was the best by far– they are the best price and offer little 1 € cones with 1 scoop if you aren’t feeling like a huge one, which is the cheapest I have found! Or go big. Either way, it is divine.

Stopped by here on our way back from the Florence Cathedral. The man who was working behind the counter was genuinely friendly. The gelato was immensely flavorful, silky, and dense. I noticed that the majority of Americans give higher ratings than Italians as they may be more exposed to gelato stores and therefore are probably pickier but to me this place was great.

I finally tried this place after being recommended by a friend of mines. I haven’t been to the original location, but this shop is small and there is outdoor seating right outside the shop. Their flavors are pretty simple for the most part; nothing too unique that stood out to me like I’ve seen at other gelaterias, and the smallest cup you can get is 1.5 euros. I got their yogurt with nutella & frutti di bosce(mixed berry) flavors and they complimented each other quite well! Good quality gelato. The man who helped me at the counter was really nice and sweet. You’re only limited to one tasting here, so choose wisely!

If you’re looking for the best gelato in Florence this is the place! It’s the creamiest and most delicious gelato I have tried. La Carraia 2 is a small shop on Via dei Benci and it is always packed. I highly recommend the yogurt & nutell mixed with after eight(mint n chip). Heaven! Buon Appetito! b

It’s hard to find truly great gelato, especially in a city famous for tourist rip-offs, but this place is delicious! Fresh, high quality ingredients equal truly gourmet gelato. The chocolate is very strong(not the best for kids I wouldn’t think) and the coconut will knock your socks off. This is truly a gelato place for true foodies and chefs; you can«taste» the quality of your ice cream here. There’s a very small outdoor seating area which provides a welcome place to rest your feet after a long day of sightseeing. This location is bit off the beaten tourist path so lines aren’t as bad. There’s usually only one employee on duty. Stop here, you won’t regret it!
