I actually really like this place. I think 298 and Iroha are slightly better but I do love the beef here. And the service was good at first, they cooked for us, but now we cook ourselves. They have 3 floors, and I like their salad and soba in addition to all the beef and chicken. It’s all very good and highly recommend this place to those wanting a quieter place for jap BBQ unless it’s on the 3rd floor where it’s good for groups and has TV playing Korean musicians(I think they’re Korean). K Pop.

Looking like a small Japanese BBQ joint from the outside, this restaurant actually has a second room which can seat more people. The atmosphere is fantastic for drinks and small gatherings, but it lacks the fancy ventilation some other places have, so I still ended up smelling like meat afterwards. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We were the only people in the main dining room that day, and ended up getting a very attentive service. Since it was just the two of us, we ordered a couple of things to share — a few kinds of beef, chicken, matsuzaka pork, and a rice ball for the grill, and a salad. Everything was grilled to perfection by our personal waiter. The meat was tender and delicious, especially when eaten with the lime juice and bbq sauce(the lime juice was especially refreshing!) The rice ball was surprisingly delicious as well. The only low point was the salad, but who am I kidding. salads here will never be as good as the ones in NorCal. Overall I felt like the food was of pretty good value, comparing to bigger and more popular places. The service was top notch, the quality was decent, and it was way less gimmicky.
