I take it back. This branch of spaghetti house was horrible. Went for lunch and the lunch menu is cheap compared to ordering a la carte. However we ordered from the menu and it was $ 168 for one spaghetti and one seafood soup. The worst part was the seafood soup was just a tin of mushroom campbells soup dumped into some seafood bits and it was obvious the puff pastry was heated up in the microwave. The spaghetti was tasteless and it was just a bit of cream sauce with 4 prawns on top. The service was also pretty bad even though the place is mostly empty. Compared to my experience with the branch in admiralty this place really should get shut down to avoid more people falling into its trap.

Absolutely putrid venue. We came here tonight for a change up from the standard Chinese food we have had over the last week and chose one of the premium lobster sets. The soup was like a powdered, just add water Continental instant soup. Then the spaghetti bolognase was an absolute dead ringer for pre bought tinned Campbell’s bolognase sauce! Garlic bread was another absolute shocker, soft, soggy, barely tasting of garlic at all more like garlic seasoning. The wine was terrible too, but to drown my sorrows it was all I had left so I downed it quick smart to end my night there sooner than later. Pizza was the last to come out and against my will I forced it down just so I had the strength to walk down the stairs on the way out…$ 85AUD equivalent and left hungry and very disappointed. Never again. Even my mum makes better bolognase!

A good place to go to when flying in and nothing else is open. They are able to make vegan dishes that taste good.

«wtf? you’re in hk! why are you going to spaghetti house?!?» asked my friend the last time i was up in hk. she had called to see where we was cause we was gonna meet up with her and her bf later that night when she got off work. what in the actual f*ck indeed, dear friend! i have a soft spot in my heart for this place. i have very fond memories of my aunts taking me here when i was a kid and would visit hk every summer(for the ENTIRE summer). i’m ‘Merican and sometimes i crave pasta that’s not very, erm, italian. this place delivered that in spades so that’s why i love it. now get off my back! my last time in hk was a couple years back with my daughter(her first time) but now that there’s Unilocal hk, i thought i’d post my review ;) the 2 of us decided we’d pop in for a quick lunch break during shopping in kowloon. it was pretty empty when we got here so we were seated immediately. prices have gone up quite a bit but whatever, i’m on vacation. we ordered the seafood pizza and sausage and mushroom spag. they came out around the same time but i dished the spag to my kiddo first and i proceeded to marvel at this«pizza». it looked like someone dropped a cheese pizza, cheese side down, on the mat behind a busy sushi bar and when they picked it up random imitation crab pieces and assorted kinds of tobiko(wasabi, black squid ink, regular, etc) stuck to it and they decided to serve it to me. oh, it tasted fine — exactly what i expected actually, it just LOOKED like that. haha. as i’m marveling at the pizza, my daughter in a shocked tone says to me, «daddy! this isn’t sausage!!! IT’S HOTDOGS!!» lmao! why yes it is, dear! why yes it is. i had forgotten that in hk, hotdog falls under the broad category of «sausage»(technically any meat in tube form is, amirite?!) and that i should probably have given shorty a heads up. haha. hotdog and mushroom spag: about $ 12+ USD(if i recall). look on my kid’s face: priceless. ah nostalgia. do i recommend you go to here? nah, not really. there’s tons of other places that’s much better. but i’ll keep coming back(at least once) when i’m in town…
