The food was great, my friend and I both enjoyed the dishes. However, the service is whole another story. We arrived just a little before 6pm on a Saturday. We were told that we must finish our meal within an hour which we agreed to. After we were seated, it’s as if we were invisible. We waited for about 10 minutes before the waiter gave us water. We raised our hands to get attention but it seems all the waiters are too busy and ignored us. When we finally got our water, we ordered right away. The food was served quickly and as expected. However, we sat there for another 10 to 15 minutes with empty plates before the water cleaned our table. The real fun came when I paid for the meal. The waiter didn’t give me my credit card but handed me the receipt to sign first. I noticed there’s a tip section on the receipt. When I was signing the receipt, the waiter stood next to me and monitored my movements as I sign. When he realised I didn’t give him any tips he dropped my credit card to the floor and stormed off. Probably won’t be going back.

I had high hopes for this place as I love Jamie Oliver as a chef and have tried numerous recipes from him. Sadly this place is barely subpar. I ordered the crab bruschetta and it was not great, next came the truffled tagliatelle which was one of the worst sauces I’ve ever had… It must’ve been fake truffle because I’ve been tasting it with my heartburn for several hours now. I’d rather eat at Olive Garden and that is saying lot, eating at Olive Garden is the equivalent of buying an American Italian frozen TV dinner. Don’t waste your time on this place.

Worst restaurant ever! You’re gonna have to wait forever for nothing. They cancel your order without any notice and just let you wait

Pretty much ok and is pretty consistent in comparison to the UK versions. Came here for lunch as they do gluten free pasta. Dishes are quite expensive for what they are: lots of pasta but hardly any crab meat when this is meant to be one of the main elements of the dish but I find this is the case in the UK too. Service decent and at least Jamie’s is fairly consistent so a-ok.

For English or Chinese this might be Italian. Unfortunatly I do not like English food. The seafood was fried fish and chips style and the fries and burger was horrible. Probably the worst I have ever eaten. Maybe I was expecting too much. Herbs do not make everything better, no matter how much you put inside. Garlic in fat fries same herbs in fish, fries… sorry Jamie. Horrible food. 2 stars for ambiance and music.

Great family eatery — albeit an expensive one. But you get what you pay for. This is not fine dining — but it is quality family fare. Staff were accommodating and friendly to our large family group. Kids menu was good enough to have the kids unsure what to choose because they liked the choices. Real fruit juices came with the deal. Sliders, spaghetti bolognaise, baked pasta… Their food turned up quickly, ready to eat and with a double thumbs up from our most harsh critic, so it was well received. The shaker salads were surprisingly well received too — and didn’t last long! Grown up menu was ok. I had the crab spaghettini, which was spicy and fishy, but had sat for too long before serving so the pasta had started to clump. My wife had the truffle pasta which was a favourite amongst the kids too. Desserts were simple, and after a solid meal it was all we could handle.

Crispy squid, omg, squid is not even fresh, dry and bland, at least the mayo ok so that I’m really eating the mayo snot the squid. The Posh chip — might as well call it «rip-off» chips, truffle oil and Parmesan, the chip was stale and I’m sure any UK fish and chips shop can do a better job than here. The Osso Bucco — what a disappointment, come on slow cooked, can’t be hard to get good result but today I realized this place is all about the name and not the food!!! Don’t even want to give it a star but seems like I’m forced to give some sort of a feedback… I have given this place a 2nd chance and definitely not back for 3rd… Jamie needs to come back here for quality check!

Checked out the newly opened Jamie’s Italian in TST Harbour City. The modest looking entrance leads to a very beautifully designed dining room with high ceiling and rustic European decoration. Staff are on the young side, not the most experienced, but very polite and well trained. Order was taken, and the food came quickly, possibly due to our early arrival(11:30am on Wednesday). The Superfood salad was very unique. Cheesy risotto rice ball is flavorful and has a nice crust. 2 pasta dishes came, and the squid ink spaghetti was better than the prawn linguine(I think it’s more«shrimp» than«prawn»). Overall, the food is made with fresh ingredients and has nice flavours. Recommended.

Lets face it, this is not an upmarket Italian restaurant like Isola or Otto e Mezzo but then again neither are the prices! Food was pretty good value, the calamari needed a bit more seasoning, Pork Milanese nice, and pizza pretty decent. Wine list was small but acceptable. we found the service to be overall good when we were served but we were sitting outside and the staff tended to be far more focused on the busier inside area Would we go back? Sure, i certainly wouldn’t be racing back but if i was in the area i would not hesitate to go again
