Don’t know about the food. But the view is amazing. The music was jazzy and the staff pro. Pretty expensive a glass of rum is 138HKD.

My friend and I came here for drinks and we ordered a couple really great cocktails. The view is excellent and the bar is decorated really nicely.

A friend brought us here for drinks on our last night in HK, would have never come here on my own as it’s definitely very high end/expensive for my taste. We ended up each getting one drink, and each drink was about $ 130-$ 160HKD, which is really expensive in my opinion. I ordered the Typhoon 10, which was a fantastic blend of lemongrass, vodka and ginger beer. I would say it’s worth stopping by if you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy a drink with fantastic views, just be prepared to pay out the nose for it. The servers do all speak English as there were a lot of tourists here, so that may add to its convenience.

Ambiance/décor-5 Service-3 Food-5 Strikeouts-2/3 Strikeouts includes small blunders from bones in the sashimi, which is a bit disappointing. Another is the air conditioning was not at optimal capacity for the private room reserved. We had to ask them to turn it up, for air circulation. Upscale, 29th floor, 12 per private room. It was a rainy day, and actually only two rooms out of the 4, got a good view without any rain obstructing the view. We were lucky! You are definitely paying the premium for the view. Service was top notch with the Italian waiter, but when he had to serve the other rooms, service quality dipped. This was about an hour into our dinner. We could tell the Asian waiter was clearly an inferior counterpart. Never corked open a wine bottle in his life. However, everyone was polite and prompt In helping us take group pictures. The menu was quite hefty, so most of us opted for the tasting menus. There was two, Italian and Japanese. Italian was: Quinoa salad with crab, avocado, and cucumber Cavatelli pasta with seafood(tomato sauce) Baked beef cheek with porcini mushroom mashed potatoes Molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream Japanese was: Sashimi platter(see picture for details) Spinach roll, and tempura Grilled angus beef rib eye Water manju with walnut paste on monaka wafer with cream cheese ice cream Top 3 dishes were the baked beef cheek, the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and lastly the angus beef steak. Food was definitely above average. Was it the best I’ve had? No. Was it too expensive? Yes. But was it worth it? Yes. Note: I also ordered two bottles of red wine and it was really good for the price($ 700−800hkd per bottle)

Gorgeous view. perfect place to see the light show at 8pm. Bar manager was awesome and gave us great feedback on where to go while we were here. Great place to bring clients or have a special occasion… only flaw…$$$$$$ be prepared to pay. My drink was $ 25…nothing is worth that.

Great place for the views! We definitely loved it, and I recommend coming here if you are in Hong Kong. But it’s very expensive for what it is. The food was ok but not excellent, and the price was m higher than it deserved. I know you pay for the views, but it’s exaggerated. I expected better food for that price, but was ok. I don’t complain, I loved coming here. Modern place, good service, four stars. With lower prices or food according to the price, it would be a five stars.

Let’s be clear, this place is not cheap, not even close to being anything on a budget. It’s a splurge place. However, that view is indeed priceless. I didn’t eat anything here, instead went to the bar. This is primarily a gin bar. There gin stuff was okay, but nothing really way out there in creativity per say. I think this has to do with the reality that most customers who do come here are not looking for creativity, but just run of the mill items to enjoy the view. Place is noisy, and can get quite crowded. Personally I think I still prefer the top of the Sheraton.

Worth the visit for the amazing view on the HK island skyline at night. Too bad the rooftop is completely enclosed in glass, it would have been 5* if it had an open roof top. Drinks are nicely prepared and atmosphere is dark and sofisticated, there is a dj set although there were only few people the night we went.

If you’re looking for a lively bar with really loud clubbing music, this might just be the place for you. First I’ll talk about the PROS. Once you walk in, the set-up makes the view of Hong Kong so pretty! They have mirrors on the wall that reflect the skyline to make it look really long but in reality, you can only see a part of it. The bar area is less than half the size of their dining area but we didn’t have any wait on a Friday night. Now for the CONS. I like my lounges to have quieter music so I’m not shouting in order for people to hear me. Sometimes, the music was so loud that I had to plug my ears! In my opinion, a club should be a club and a lounge should be a lounge. It just doesn’t work when a club has soft music right? Well then vice versa. It’s also super dark in here and the waiters couldn’t see us 90% of the time so we had to pray that they came close enough to see our waving hand. Also, the darkness gives a sense of «invisibility» for those couples that get a little TOO tipsy. You don’t know how many times I thought to myself«Please…please get a room. I don’t need to see that tongue action every time I want to talk to my friends». It just gave an overall«trashy» vibe. As you can tell, I had a pretty bad experience here but the view and drinks made up for an extra star. My favorite drink is G&T and they have a whole section dedicated to that :) I don’t see myself coming back because I’d rather spend my money at Ozone or something where the view is A LOT more spectacular and the set-up is brighter and just… better!

This spot still wins, man. I took my friend a few months ago while we were there. The music wasn’t as loud, the space just as sexy & gorgeous. The drinks just right & appropriate. Pretty, witty, girly, whirly :)

Arguably one of the best views in Hong Kong, if not the world! We went around 8pm and in time for the light show — absolutely brilliant. The food is a mixture of japanese and italian(only in Asia) — which surprisingly worked well. Sashimi, foix gras, wagyu beef and delicate handmade pasta — all went down well with Australian wine. I’d recommend this restaurant for those looking for a once in a lifetime experience. But only once. As expected, it is very expensive for the style of dining the restaurant provides. It’s not tablecloth, and it’s not exactly ‘fine dining’ but it will likely break the bank. Also as others have mentioned, it probably wouldn’t be worth the same value without the view. The service was fantastic. We went as friends, but this is the kind of place you’d go on one of the most romantic dates possible in all of Asia.

We were unlucky. I booked this as our 1 nice dinner in HK hoping for beautiful views but it was a cloudy/foggy/smoggy weekend all around. We were still able to see the light show a little(which in itself was also disappointing) but I had a nicer view from my room at the Intercontinental… I chose the special 4 course black truffle pre-fixe menu. I love truffles and for the price, it didn’t seem that expensive. This was overall a disappointment. The dishes themselves(included seafood appetizer/sushi, pasta and meat) were okay, nothing spectacular. I didn’t think the truffles added anything special to these dishes beside the fact that there’s truffle shavings. And the truffles themselves were sub-par, I honestly was barely able to detect any truffle aroma from these shavings dish after dish. Were they just cheap truffles? Or sat on too long before being served? For such a fancy establishments, I honestly expected much better. Service was overall fine but they did forget to bring out my 2nd wine pairing with my pasta dish… I had to eat the risotto super slowly before I was able to wave down a waiter to go get my wine…

Well, Aqua is one of those palces that you do not want to miss in HK, very classy, a bit posh maybe, great view of the bay from the windows on the top floor of the skyscraper where Aqua is located. Food and drinks are good, Japanese style and some Italian too, but what makes this place shine is the above mentioned atmosphere and the service(impeccable every time I have been there).

Well you get what you pay for here and warning the price is steep. Depending on if you are in the lounge upstairs or on the dinning room floor below, you’ll be impressed by the breathtaking view of the harbor. Came here for dinner as a special treat and reserved one of the window seats. It’s a u shaped booth with a table in the middle. We got here just a little before 8pm and got to watch the laser light show in the harbor. They have a la carte items you can order or you can opt for the dinner set. The food is served in small portions and everything we ordered is very yummy. I loved my scallops and me and the boyfriend also loved the never ending bread basket lol

Great spot for special occasions, but if that occasion is a public holiday be ready for pricey special set menus. Food and wine selection is good but that’s not why you come. You come for the view and it is magnificent. You’ll find your self lingering over your salad, main, dessert, and then wine — not wanting to give up such a spectacular view before you have to.

We came here for new year’s eve and the view was spectacular. We had the perfect view of the fireworks through their beautiful large windows and the open bar had a decent selection. We also enjoyed the appetizers being passed around, with the sushi being one of the highlights. I think the crowd was a little older though and I would have preferred more upbeat music. I would definitely want to go back and try the food and restaurant.

The spectacular view from Aqua Spirit on the 30th floor of One Peking is worth the price of one of their very expensive drinks(average $ 17USD for a glass of wine, $ 20+ for a martini/well drinks, $ 13 for 12oz. or less beer), but not much more than that. From what I’ve read, I’m glad we decided to skip dinner here. We were seated right away since it was(seemingly) a slow Sunday night(maybe it gets busier later in the night?). Once seated, the service was terrible. Perhaps we were pegged as tourists(granted we were) but that was no reason for the inattentiveness. My friends each ordered an Asahi beer and I got the Aqua Queen(long drinks section of the menu). It was a tasty specialty drink(a mixture of fresh apple, Smirnoff Black vodka, peach schnapps, with a splash of cranberry and pineapple juice) but kind of weak with too much ice considering the price. After we received our drinks, the waitress never came back over to us to check to see if we were satisfied or even to offer us another drink once we finished our first. We had planned to each get another but by the time we finally got her attention, we were over it. Our three drinks totaled $ 55USD, so it was probably good we didn’t get that second drink. The one thing Aqua Spirit has going for it was the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Victoria Harbor and the Hong Kong skyline is absolutely amazing on a clear night. If you can get a table by the window for the nightly light show over the harbor at 8pm, it’s even better.

Sliding doors open up before us revealing a glass wall two stories high stretching along the whole length of One Peking. The view of Hong Kong is undeniably impressive as our hostess leads us to our table just left of middle and five feet from the thick glass separating us from a nasty 300 foot drop. Before we even glance at the menus our phones are snapping away, a live stream of Aqua photos hitting the internet. This is what we came for, and this is eventually what we felt we were paying for. The service was uniformly good, although a bit different than what we were used to in the States. Each staff member wore discrete headsets and mics like bodyguards. In the effort to be efficient, they might call back to Control with a question about the menu such as whether something was available or not. The odd bit was that they would start talking into the mic as you were still asking questions or ordering and it became a bit awkward as no one was sure if they were still listening to us. And despite this system in place they still came back twice to tell us something was not available. Overall it didn’t feel like the wait staff knew the menu too well. The drinks, however, were definitely on point. It seems that Western-style craft cocktails have made it across the Pacific, although this was one of the few examples of it we saw in HK. A poster featuring the iconic title card for Mad Men actively highlighted the bar’s cocktails and we were more than happy to sample the goods. The Old Fashioneds and Manhattans we had were delightfully boozy and the ingredients fresh. Even if you skipped the restaurant, I would highly recommend getting up to the bar on 30 and sipping a few drinks while enjoying the view. The Italian & Japanese menu was one of the most interesting things to us coming in. The ampersand is not a mistake; the menu is literally split in two with one half being Italian and the other half showcasing Japanese. Due to a mix of laziness and curiosity, I opted for the seasonal white truffle four course set menu immediately. This was definitely a mistake. *Course One: Giant sweet prawn & abalone sashimi. Note that there is sliced truffle on every dish, even if I fail to mention it. This was probably my favorite course and it was just okay. *Course Two: Risotto with uni. I actually didn’t even realize there was uni in this dish. The risotto seemed a little too al dente, although it never reached the level of being actually crunchy. I’m a sucker for risotto so I still enjoyed it. *Course Three: Wagyu rolled with maitake mushroom and served with some kind of miso-matcha sauce. The beef was flavorful, but that sauce was so overpowering that everything tasted like sweet-salty green tea. It took me a bit to realize it was the sauce doing this and scrapped the rest away from the wagyu. *Course Four: Chocolate ganache. The ganache was poured over a couple layers of marshmallow and some kind of slightly crunchy cake. The chocolate was very tasty, but the marshmallow made me feel like I was eating something from Hostess. Not a bad thing generally, but not a good thing at these prices. I have a feeling that if I went with a normal entrée with some sides and apps, I would have enjoyed the food more. Paying USD $ 250 a person to have truffles spread over mediocre dishes is not all that satisfying no matter how nice the view(and it is nice). It is hard to leave when we finally get up from our table nearly three hours later. The bright glow of lights from Hong Kong are made even slightly more magical by the light fog that has settled over the skyline. I linger a bit longer after my friends have walked over to the elevator. One more photo won’t hurt.

Just as you might think, «so, there really IS a God», when you encounter some relentlessly attractive people, who turn out to have a vocabulary of 20 words — all of them found in the«Urban Legend Dictionary of Zombies» — Aqua Spirit, with its pant-dropping spectacular views of the Kowloon is well-balanced by its rather mediocre and slightly-overpriced food. I’ve been here several times to the bar(second floor) and the restaurant(main level). The food is Japanese-Italian, which means you have dishes that are either Italian(ie. Risotto) or Japanese(ie. Sashimi) — and not necessary a clever fusion of both. If you enjoy large white plates that house two or three portions of something smaller about the size of your big toe, accompanied by a splash of a sauce and a sprig of some leafy vegetable, or a weird looking root vegetable, this is the restaurant for you. The main course here is the view, with the floor to ceiling windows view of the water… and perhaps your wallet with the money inside. The few times we sat at the bar, we had pretty boring cocktails with fresh sashimi, edamame and some other fried thing — totally forgettable. The other times in the restaurant we’ve had better luck with the various pastas or seafood — but the portions were quite small, like you’re on a low-cal, low-IQ diet, where there wasn’t enough food that you still had to pay through the nose for. On another recent visit, my partner and I spent about HKD1300 for two main courses, two glasses of wine and one shared app. What draws people back to this place with all the four-star reviews is the ambiance and the view. It’s a great place to bring a significant other or a client and a great way to experience all that Hong Kong has to offer — views of the water, great sexy, ambiance, haphazard service, high prices, and just OK food.

One of my favorite place to dine and impress my guest. A-ma-zing view, great service, and decent food. Its pricey but thats what you expect coming here in one of the most popular place in Hong Kong. Trying to impress or check out a place that provides two view of the bay? Look no further and check Aqua out.

Went here with friends to celebrate my girls birthday! But, who knew this place would be giving us the surprise and the best gift of all which is an amazing skyline view of Hong Kong along with a spectacular light show of the buildings that starts at 8pm. Atmosphere is posh and luxurious with a feeling of sexiness in this dimly lit restaurant. Staff was courteous, friendly, attentive and the price matches the quality of the dishes. Most everyone ordered the steaks and all were cook to perfection with loads of flavor and taste. I’d recommend this place for a romantic evening or even better a corporate card with unlimited expense. Overall, truly enjoyed this place and will be back again.
