Close to TSTMTR. Mezzanine level of the Holiday Inn. Low ceilings so atmospheric. Good mix on the menu of pizza, pastas and more. Sells wines by glass, bottle and carafe. All pizzas were yum and not thick bases. Enjoyed & would return /recommend.

I came here earlier this week. I haven’t been here in the past and started to regret it as soon as i realised what the appetiser buffet was consisted of. It’s in TST so not my usual place of visit, but was invited by a dear friend who worked in the area. She raved about this place before so thought I should give it a try. We came, four of us girls, not knowing what to expect. Most of us don’t live in the area. We came here for lunch. Were we ever impressed. They had a very extensive appetiser buffet. I mean, it wasn’t massive but had a great selection of quality items, about 4 – 5 cheeses, 4 different cured meats, salad of course, but what I appreciated the most was their selection of already made salads. They had a high quality crab meat salad, lobster salad, beet root salad, and more. When the mains came, honestly speaking, I was already quite stuffed. We ordered a cod, a pasta, a pork and a pizza. The pizza was utterly heavenly. The flavour of the day was a blue cheese pizza, which i understand not most people would willingly accept, but i was deeply infatuated by it. It wasn’t smothered in blue cheese but had chunks of it which portrayed a perfect balance with the fresh tomatoes. The pork was very well done as well, i don’t think we even needed a knife! Following, the cod and the pasta were good too but just not as impressive as the pork and pizza. Finally came the dessert buffet. I’m not a huge fan of desserts, besides i was way too full from the other dishes, but according to my friends, they finished EVERYTHING they took from the buffet. That’s saying a lot. I would definitely come back. it’s like a hidden gem. You wouldn’t expect amazing italian food at Holiday Inn, but be prepared to be impressed.
