I’m here right now having a bread/pastry and a tea. It’s only just past 5pm and it’s super packed. It has a really nice interior, a chic muted gray color, with simple suede finished chairs. A great place to have a coffee chat, but not so much a place to bring your laptop as the tables are too high for their chairs. they are playing swing jazz, which is a nice touch; the general noise level really struck me when I came in(the music is WAY too loud), but maybe it’s a little different during the day. I am having a Parma ham bread($ 16) and Ginger tea(28). The bread is on the drier side and the ginger tea has no ginger flavor whatsoever. Overall a nice area for a coffee. Too bad they don’t have wifi!

This little café is one of the best and reasonable pricing café I have ever been to. It’s high end looking but yet affordable. It’s around $ 3 usd for an espresso. What a deal! I enjoyed getting an espresso here and small snack(cake, cookie) here after I walk around the mall. This little café is definitely a little gem!

On the classy yet more affordable side, especially taking into the consideration the fact that it’s located in Pacific Place(high-end fashion shops). The seating is limited, but the space is very open and lets a great deal of light in! I ordered a smoked turkey and brie baguette(43HKD)– make sure to say yes when they ask you if you want it heated up! The food was very fresh. I also ordered a large iced white coffee– personally I’d add the sugar myself. I let them add sugar in mine and I think they were a bit heavy-handed. Aside from that, it was creamy and very delicious! Definitely a great option to choose if you want to save some money to maybe shop around downstairs(it’s on the top floor). If I’m around here again I’ll definitely make an effort to stop by!

Same as Simply Life. One of the better places for coffee around pacific place. Good range of pastries and sandwiches, there is fresh fruit as well.

good coffee, quite and spacious(so rare in central), lovely outdoor space, great for a quite afternoon, or rest after shopping. long line during lunch hour on workday though.

The terrace on top of Pacific Place used to be the perfect spot for grab and go salads from Great. That was when weather allowed… I would take my lunch there and soak in some sun, easily. It’s not that easy anymore; however the place is lovely, the mix of warmth and humidity is a killer. Alternatively, you can head to the Petit Café, order something to eat and stay in but it never appealed to me as the point was to enjoy the terrace. So I finally went there on a weekend at the invitation of a friend. Even though Admiralty, Pacific Place and the surroundings sound like ‘work’ for me, a friend suggested we try it, because he loves their juices and cakes. So there we went, I had a tea(I loved the take away flowery cup!), he had his treat — juice plus carrot cake. By the look of his face I can tell you it was a pretty good one and he seriously tempted me. As it was really warm, we sat inside, by the window. There weren’t many places free but it was surprisingly quiet. I like the fact that they have a really big counter and the kitchen behind it, and you can have a look at the deliciousness there: cakes, pastries, breads. However I think it lacks some personality: the terrace is really nice and I hope I’ll be able to enjoy it soon, but the inside could be a lot cozier… with comfier armchairs and low tables, more Starbucksy looking. Instead, it looks really functional and it seems more like a little restaurant than a café. So the final verdict will come when I can grab my tea and seat outside and chill out on a fresh afternoon!
